Our enemy's only option is to recruit people who don't understand reality/logic/thinking OR deny reality because of their internal struggles.

He prefers the layer-1 animal response systems in humans as a guiding principle.

Therefore, because Jehovah represents truth and reality, Satan's only option are the "left-overs" so to speak.

This is quite humorous on some level.

Consider: Balaam and Balak's scheme was to appeal to simple physical pleasures and use that to undermine reality and truth.

Satan needs that marginal person who says "maybe 2 + 2 = 5"

The rest?

Scared to voice the opinion that 2 + 2 = 4!

Really a funny realization honestly.

We need to worship with spirit and truth friends, no matter what that means.

When Jesus told the rich man to give up all he had and follow him.... well ... that is probably what WE will face.

It's not easy, but despising shame when you know something is true is a good start.

There have been many studies that show people submit to group think and can pretty easily be encouraged to deny reality. It’s only about 25% of people who will buck a trend on principle. However, I wouldn’t categorize them as dumb. Some are actually pretty smart as far as book learning. I would probably say they lack something, perhaps confidence in their own thinking ability or they are cowards. I don’t know but Jehovah knows the heart.

So true sister! "Dumb" is a misnomer.

Eventually this will apply to us all.

The universe will be filled with people who 'love their neighbor' and 'love God'.

“For there are many invited, but few chosen.”

This period of 'the chosen' (chosen by Jehovah for loving neighbor and God to a high degree) and 'the invited' (showing that desire) will turn into a basic principle of all mankind.

Who presumes to be chosen at this point though? This is the JW struggle.

The ego or the Id is what comes to mind. I don't think logic is too reliable when it comes to Jehovah. Jehovah is beyond heart (feelings/emotion) & mind (logic/facts). If anything He's primordial truth (spirit) & that defines the rest.
