Saturday, Dec 2nd - The Man of Flawlessness

Any thoughts?
Are they totally deceived or is it a well orchestrated plan?
Jehovah has allowed a man of lawlessness to infiltrate Christ's congregation so when it hits the fan our faith will be tested. Was Judas aware he was doing satans will or was he just greedy for riches? In the end Judas realised what he had done to the son of God and committed suicide - what motivates a mans heart?

That is funny. New light for the new light. Kinda like lets have a meeting about the meeting, if you watch The Office you might recognize that one. Anyways, I don't follow who the GB are, and I never can remember the names. Lett is the one who makes funny faces I think, but that's the only one I can remember because of the odd expressions. Apparently Winder is now a newly appointed according to your post. Is there a video or something regarding the talk you are referring to? I'm curious as to who he is and the talk given.
“Just woke up” has given you the link to winder‘s monologue of jive. Enjoy it! 🤣

Thanks appreciate it. Watched some of it, the part I was interested in at least. Now I know who Winder is. Young guy wow. Its funny how they give the new guy that talk lol, when the older men were the ones responsible for much of the confusion within the WT regarding the sold properties and vaccines etc..etc. I don't know when he was voted in as a member of the GB, maybe he also had a hand in making those decisions.

Ah, thank you for the links. The jw.org link was more than enough for me to see what I needed. Both him and Fleegle were both Bethelites. This would seem to show that it's not what you know but who you know to become part of the GB. For example, it is much easier to move up within an organization when you are surrounded by those who do the promotion of such. Because many of those decisions to recommend are done so based off of relationships that are established with the ones who make these decisions. Its much easier to get recommended for something when the boss knows you and likes you. If the weeds within the wheat are making the decisions then obviously they are going to groom and recommend those who will continue with hypocrisy, and lies. Thanks for the videos and links. As far as I'm now concerned, nothing to really focus on there. In my honest opinion, why should I even care for how does that affect my relationship with Jehovah. Oh yeah, it doesn't!

He looks the double of my brother in law who is an elder in his congregation. It really makes me feel quite strange to see him there. I suspect winder got the assignment as he is new and eager to please. There would have undoubtably been a great deal of examination of him before he was appointed - in-depth discussions. I don’t think he will have a voice in the GB for quite a while. Someone else was appointed after him I think. Don’t know who. I can see winder as a long term prospect with his eyes on the main influencer post if time goes on long enough. The talk he gave had no emotion in it that I could see -

Thats funny, so now everytime you see your brother in law you get to think of the GB. Poetic justice or sweet irony, i guess they're one in the same.

No sorry. Here was the talk;
Incredible “double speak”. I imagine they liken being submissive to the Governing Body the same as a wife being in submission to her husband. However, the Bible is very clear that even though wives are in subjection to their husband, they should speak up when they see their husband/spiritual head making a mistake. Godly wives weren’t divorced for speaking out but instead the godly husband at times listened to his wife or as in the case of Nabal, they suffer the consequence of being arrogant, stubborn and unyielding.

Speaking of being in subjection to a spiritual head, I was actually also appalled that this same Winder guy when talking about modesty stated that an Elder might reason on a particular situation being discussed and come to the conclusion that the Elder would say to himself, “I’m going to ALLOW her to work with her husband on this matter”. How generous of them.

I reckon you'd be a match for his shiny little bald head Susan😜
I've heard it reasoned here on Watchman that the CIA has implants in most influential organisations in the US. They are experts at gaslighting
so he could easily fit the bill as being qualified. From deflecting criticism to declaring no need to apologise to anyone you'd think he's been raised with privilege and power. Perhaps he is a CIA/GB minder stuck in there to control the troops???

They liken being submissive to the GB the same as a wife being in submission to her husband? What a falsehood…yes we should treat them with respect and listen to direction but this is an entirely different matter, being submissive to the GB the same as to your husband.

The scriptures say differently here at Ephesians 5:21-24 —

“Be in subjection to one another in fear of Christ. Let wives be in subjection to their husbands as to the Lord, because a husband is head of his wife just as the Christ is head of the congregation, he being a savior of this body. In fact, as the congregation is in subjection to the Christ, wives should also be to their husbands in everything.”

Now where in these verses is anything mentioned about the Governing Body or for that matter the Apostles for wives to be in submission to them?
