Reading Jeremiah, when God pronounces the corruption of ancient Israel, its exile and subsequent "repurchase" alluding to what the servants of God will experience in the future, Jehovah goes on to mention Edom, Moab and the children of Ammon. pronounces judgment against them for their "joy" at Israel's misfortune, but says that "and I will surely gather the captives of Moab in the last part of the days" (Jeremiah 48:47) will this be similar to the Egyptians who Did they unite Israel when they left Egypt? Will there be people of other religions who do not fall into the trap of the future 666 mark and somehow support God and his kingdom in their conscience? Unlike the organizational chip that abounds in the Wachtower, I have always thought so, due to the family relationship that existed between Lot and Esau (ancestors of these nations) and their relationship with Abraham and Jacob, but contributions that add salt are welcome. and other condiments to food.

I do not think that the taking of the mark of the beast will be a trap, but a choice. There will certainly be many aspects of faith involved but the choice will be clear - but maybe not the outcome. The choice is ours based on our heart condition. I understand that the beast and the kingdom will Co-exist for that very purpose unless I have misunderstood the issue. When I look at the world today, I have no doubt that many will prefer the beast and look upon Jehovah, Christ and his kingdom as something “religious”. Today, men appear ignorant of what religion actually is. The kingdom is a way of life, not “religion”. Its joy is in recognising the Creator - and worship is praise and participation with loving appreciation of Jehovah. Not a ritual. Watchtower, churches, religions - it’s all about control. True appreciation of Jehovah is a natural inclination of the soul. Not to be found in “religion” or any longer within the watchtower and which appears to be being rapidly abandoned for the very emptiness of the vessel that they were given full of potential.

I share your look. In any case, the post focuses specifically on who could be the individuals from Edom, Moab and Ammon symbolic of the final part of the days.

Agreed: Even in their blind state the Watchtower Society has recognized that Edom, Moab and Ammon represent Christendom. For example, here is what the Society states and their Isaiah commentary regarding Moab: https://e-watchman.com/the-propheti...ane-of-moabthe-prophetic-significane-of-moab/ The 15th and 16th chapters of Isaiah are devoted exclusively to the denunciation of Moab. Moab, along with Ammon, were the nations that descended from Abraham’s nephew, Lot – the sons born by his daughters after their mother had been turned into a pillar of salt for disobeying the angel of Jehovah. https://e-watchman.com/the-judgment-of-moab/ While in one of those posts try inputting a query in the top right hand search box, you will be guaranteed of plentifull research from Watchman's 22yrs mastery of this song! This is something that I ponder over from time to time and have wondered about. In my research earlier, among many of RK’s commentaries I found this one. Although it only mentions Moab in the title, Edom and Ammon are brought out as well.
Tell me your thoughts on it.

“Jehovah is not slow concerning his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire anyone to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.” ( 2 Peter 3:9 )

One of the reasons why I left the Organization was the cult of the superficial and mechanical. That organizational chip that they have installed in their heads that only the one who is in the kingdom hall "Will be saved" and the rest will be massacred. As if Jehovah were a limited and superficial being; How much ignorance and arrogance. Once away from the Wachtower, but with faith intact in God, something internally takes me back to the Garden of Eden when Jehovah takes the step of putting enmity between the satanic offspring and his own. It is like a measure that does not focus on a specific people or Organization, that is, both ancient Israel and the current Wachtower are TOOLS to attract others to the offspring of God, but they are not a limit or closed circle of salvation. The Bible shows this with the Egyptians who joined Israel or the Gentiles who joined the Jews, people who had never served God but faced with a "Black or White" decision like it was in Egypt, they were determined and supported the sovereignty of God. And to all this I add the parable that Jesus told about the vineyard workers: Some arrived later than others but the payment of their salary was the same for all. It seems to me that the Bible makes it clear that regardless of the means that God uses to gather his descendants or the geographical area that identifies them biblically, religiously or currently, Jehovah scans the earth in search of flickering lights that have a heart for him, just as Asa said in the book of chronicles. It seems to be something known, but it will be very interesting to see in the facts how Jehovah rescues those "Lost of Edom, Moab and the children of Ammon"

In fact, John in Revelation tells us that about the fall of the modern commercial and religious empire called "Babylon the great" or "Great city that has a kingdom over the kings of the earth", Jehovah through an angel delivers a new message of condemnation for the system of the beast that will be with full power and authority, the famous 8th king. Wouldn't it be crazy for so many of Jehovah's anointed servants and the great crowd of the Wachtower along with some remnant of this symbolic group of "Edom, Moab, and Ammon", refined by Jehovah and united in one mind and heart to form the " "offspring" of God against that of the serpent to deliver this message before the government of the beast. After all, Jehovah only likes heartfelt obedience regardless of the geographical or religious distinctives of this system. I see more and more people who do not belong to the Wachtower, but who have the same or more fervent zeal for God. What, does God ignore them for not being in the Wachtower? Please, how much ignorance and arrogance.

Thanks for your response @Nehemías …very insightful. It lines up with how Jehovah searches those among mankind…but not with such a narrow minded view. The scriptures tell us that Jehovah “Jehovah searches through all hearts, and he discerns every inclination of the thoughts...”

The remaining from Moab and Ammon could represent the great crowd. Since they are not "Israel", they represent the nations that will join Israel and will be saved with Israel during the last days. Anyway, we will have to wait and see. I would love to see people not accepting the mark of the beast during the last days, but that's highly unlikely. So, it seems they represent the great crowd, maybe. We will have to wait and see.

Interesting point of view. She had never seen it from that angle. Of course, as the anointed are the "Jerusalem" above, those of the great crowd could be the symbolic neighboring nations that join the Israel above. The only thing that doesn't close my mind is how the king of the north would overlook the great crowd when Daniel speaks that in the flooding of the lands in the last days, Edom, Moab and the main part of the children of Ammon are saved. That part doesn't close, but hey, it's still interesting.

In those verses, it seems that Moab, Ammon and Edom represent Christendom, the eternal enemies of Israel. We know that Babylon the Great survives until almost the end of the last days. Her destruction is the last event before Armageddon, the sixth bowl of wrath.
Anyway, brother, we cannot know now the significance of many prophecies because many of them will be "open up" during the time of the end as Daniel 12:4 says. We have the general picture and in some way what we need to know for now. We will have to wait and see hehe. Maybe now some things do not seem to add up, but Jehovah will reveal everything on His due time. :) 😉
