The Assyrian is the 8th King. Exactly how the prophecy in Isaiah will be fulfilled is interesting and yet confusing too to consider. You probably have already read this article but I thought I’d post the link on the Assyrian.

The “Assyrian” typifies the eighth king Patricia. https://e-watchman.com/the-assyrian-and-the-8th-kingdom/ I was going to question Egypt as gt crowd but oops! Just caught watchman's take upon it and don't feel scripturally confident to challenge. We can also call The King of Babylon the servant of Jehovah too for He puts His sword into the hand of His servant Babylon...so have fun working that one out too! Wink! Jer43:10- onwards shows Babylon setting a fire in Egypt at Jehovah's behest! I'm sure it will all unravel eventually. Must be that any assigned designations of Nations are to be determined within each scriptural context and not to be enscribed in stone?

Both were instruments that Jehovah used to punish his people; Assyria destroyed the 10 tribe Kingdom and Babylon conquered Judah and razed the temple in Jerusalem. God then overthrew his appointed punishers. Jehovah's angel wiped out the Assyrian army and God took Cyrus by the hand and used him to overthrow Babylon. Both Assyria and Babylon represent the eighth king who will carry out God's purpose to its conclusion

I guess my shotgun mic is better than I thought. It had slipped down around my knees.

So much stress in life, it's hard not to have fun when you have the opportunity.
We've seen too many "stuffy" elders throughout the years. Glad you aren't one.
