@ZaneMs_Ladyblue referred to a brother who was offended by negative comments and asked: "tell me if I’m mistaken…when we read the Bible aren’t there several times we read of ‘negative’ comments"
So I provided a couple of examples where Jesus himself made negative comments, one where he called his own disciples "faithless and twisted", and the other where he called Peter Satan.
Yes, and that’s exactly how I understand these comments in those verses when God’s servants are expressing negative comments about another servant who no doubt is doing wrong, from Jehovah’s standpoint.
We do well to remember what 2 Timothy 3: 16, 17 “All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, so that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.”
Now I ask the question: Weren’t the examples you gave stated in the scriptures? …inspired by who?
And are we going to find fault with God for having these negative comments written down in his word?
I think we know the answers to those questions. 😊
