It’s interesting that some of this information is resurfacing in the news. In the past few years there has been a lot of activism, even in the UK , concerning child abuse. I have been aware of many sad cases ,including this one. There was a large group of ex jw abuse victims and their supporters outside the convention at the Excel in London a few years ago, I believe this lady was there. Many of these people at the time were interviewed by Lloyd Evans who was also called to give evidence at the uk IICSA investigation. This proved to be a disappointment for many, particularly after the Australian Royal Commission. It also involved Watchtowers own Paul Gillies who is now, I believe ,a partaker at Warwick.

For anyone wanting to learn more about this subject, the story of Candace Conti, who was the first abuse victim to win a jury trial against Watchtower is interesting. This case really opened the floodgates to many lawsuits. She sued in 2011 l believe. Her story is easily found on the internet.

this next one from New York state- Hines v Watchtower, Gerrit LĂśsch. I read the complaint and it reads like a disgusting, slimy, sick crime novel. Be forewarned.

Watchtower already filed an answer and a motion to dismiss on summary judgment (i believe). I highly doubt any competent judge will dismiss this case.

Keep your eye on this one- i think it may go to a jury, and the discovery will be a matter of public record, Watchtower won’t be able to NDA it into the memory hole.

Of course, lie for the org, get a promotion 🤬 Hypocrites!
that other slimeball, Hendricks. He goes up on tv in various locales and he lies- straight up looks into the camera and he lies. It seems that Watchtower has taken its “theocratic warfare” to the extreme, so much so that it no longer “pricks” the consciences, that the lies flow with ease.

It is pretty sick! Just when you think it could get no worse….it does!
They have no shame and on top of it they are so bold!

2 Cor. 11: 13,14 “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps disguising himself as an angel of light.”

Davis ExSplaneD that they don’t want trials with a jury because a jury doesn’t know all the facts (yeah, duh, that’s called being impartial 🤦‍♀️). So I recon in will be settled out of court.

I remember seeing that bit at the convention last year or the year before and thinking why in the world would you want to settle?
As a bit of background information, the child abuse within the org was never in the news here in Holland like it was in other countries. I only found out about it in 2019/2020.

Did you hear about the police raids on the Dutch branch of the Witnesses., two Kingdom Halls and 4 private homes. All in relation to child abuse? This was 3 years ago I think. It was instigated by a group called Reclaimed Voices.
I must say I never watch the news on MSM and I hardly read the papers, so at first this completely passed me by. Until the government stepped in and investigated. They were about to release a report when WT sued them trying to stop publication cause it could harm the publishers, which they lost. I have the report and there was nothing in there that could harm the publishers, only the leaders.

Then the org placed a statement on the back page of the largest newspaper in Holland. They also, around that time, released three study articles in the Watchtower which assured everyone that things had changed. I still didn’t know how deep the rabbit hole went cause no one talked about it.

There was this lawyer for Reclaimed Voices on a talkshow who said he was going to get JW prohibited in Holland and everyone laughed about it (he came across as a pompous ass) so I thought he was just another apostate telling lies.

It wasn’t until I saw a documentary, probably on YouTube, that it hit me how big of a problem this really is. And the thing is, I knew (he died a couple of years ago) a child molester in the org. But he went to prison for it and he wasn’t allowed to be alone with kids. So I thought it was handled well.

We have been gaslit so well by this society, in hindsight I feel sick I let them mess with my mind.

Yes we have. I often wonder how sad it must be for Barbara Anderson to stand up and speak, only to lose her only son because of shunning. Cut off from grandchildren as well. Listening to her and her husband they seem such a lovely and caring couple. At least she has seen some validation of her findings and contents of the blue envelopes.

I saw that part- David Splane said that juries are biased- completely impugning the judicial system. So that’s why they settle out of court for millions? Because “newspaper editors” don’t like JWs? The way he was taking too- like he was addressing 90 year olds back in the late ‘70s.

He also said that parties on both sides had an interest in settling because neither party wants the facts publicized. huh??

It was the 2021 convention that he said all that inane garbage.

i'm really, really hoping that the Hines case is publicly adjudicated through the entire civil litigation system. It will show the true colors of one Gerrit LĂśsch.
