The truth about Jehovah’s Witnesses

Jesus wasn't answering the question of the End of the Gentile times. He admitted not knowing the day or hour of His Presence and the Conclusion the system of things. So context is needed.

Another scripture states, "For the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will not do a thing Unless he has revealed his confidential matter* to his servants the prophets." (Amos 3:7)

Such warnings were given to God's Chosen People prior to destruction as a heads up for honest hearted ones. There several prophecies that pointed to 'the timing' of the demise of Jerusalem coming in 607 BCE which led Ezekiel to proclaim a warning, “As for you, son of man, this is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says to the land of Israel: ‘An end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land." Ezekiel 7:2

Ezekiel 7:6

An end is coming; the end will come; it will rouse itself against you. Look! It is coming.

The 'key' to understanding the end is context... the end of what? 607 BCE was the end of pure worship to be restored by the one with the legal right in 1914.

Brother Russell as far back as 1876 was claiming that 1914 was the End of the Gentile times. 2034 is the end of the last days where the separation work begins of what was collected in the (time of trouble) for Jehovah's Name.

WTS quote - (Bible Examiner) - In the year 1876 the twenty-four-year-old Russell made a contribution on the subject to this magazine. It was published in Volume XXI, Number 1, which was the issue of October, 1876. On pages 27, 28 of that issue Russell’s article was published under the title “Gentile Times: When Do They End?” In that article (page 27) Russell said: “The seven times will end in A.D. 1914.”- End of WTS Quote.

Brother Russell wrote: "'The Earth Abideth Forever' Christ will not return to Earth as a Man - Present Year Believed to Mark Great Change of Dispensation, but World May not discern Immediate Difference." The Bible Students Monthly, January, 1914.

"Our Lord, in describing His Second Presence, clearly indicated that it would be unnoticed by the world until the cataclysm of trouble should come. Thus He likened the earlier days of His presence to that period before the Flood, when the world, unconscious of the impending catastrophe, continued to build, eat and drink as usual, and knew not. So, says the Master, it will be in the end of this Age. Eating, drinking, building, planting and marrying will proceed as usual; and the world will not know that they are in the PRESENCE of the Son of Man."

He continues, "The Bible nowhere tells that Jesus took the human nature to keep it forever, and to return with it to Heaven, where it would be completely out of order and out of place. The Bible teaches, on the contrary, that "flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God" (1 Cor 15:50); and that Jesus was made flesh merely 'that He, by the grace of God, should taste death for every man' (Heb 2:9) and that after doing this work He would "ascend up where He was before." (John 6:62) The great Day of Trouble, noted throughout the Scriptures as the Time of Trouble such as never was since there was a nation, will come upon them suddenly." (Matthew 24:21)

International Bible Students Association: "Nevertheless, when viewed from God’s standpoint, we are still “shortly after” 1914. Although Russell himself did not think the time of trouble would be this long, he did allow that it could be. It is possible that the time allotted for this period is 120 years (1914+120=2034), but that these days will be “cut short” some time before they are allowed to reach their end. We do not put this forth as a “prophecy”, nor would we feel anything was wrong if 2034 came and went and nothing had happened as far the full binding of Satan and the destruction of his empire is concerned. All things are in God’s hands."
You can take your artfully contrived sorry somewhere else because nobody really wants to hear it, with that thought in mind please do not message me back as you will be ignored.

CT Russell was right in so far as realizing that the end of the Gentile times would be the end of Satan's world. But by all accounts, the world did not end in 1914 nor has it ended any time since then. Years after Russell's belly flop the theocratic spinmeisters reworked the Gentile times and 1914 to be, not the end of the world, but the beginning of a decades-long conclusion and phantasmic, invisible parousia. The outbreak of the now-looming WW3 will permanently dissolve this long-standing delusion.

I was thinking exactly this, this morning when I was listening to a couple of chapters of Robert's book. It was the same many years ago, I couldn't understand why there is so much corruption and bullying in Jehovah's organisation, then we studied the 2 Isaiah books in the Tuesday night book study, and a light switched on, and it was enough for me to endure the next 20 or so years, until 2020/2021 and then all my strength dissipated away, until I started meeting other brothers and sisters who felt the same as me, and I've started to find the strength to get back up again. Is that new strength from Jehovah? Or from Satan? 🤔
I would say that it’s new strength from Jehovah. Proverbs 24:16 says “For the righteous one may fall even seven times, and he will certainly get up; but the wicked ones will be made to stumble by calamity.”
This verse has always been so encouraging for me. I hope you will be encouraged by it. As long as we get back up and keep going, looking to Jehovah, he considers us righteous in his eyes.

Revelation 5:5

But one of the elders said to me: “Stop weeping. Look! The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has conquered so as to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

More food for thought in reference to the watchtowers 1914 scenario.

Excerpted from - You do not know on what day your Lord is coming

In reality, the conclusion has not begun. However, because Jehovah’s Witnesses are convinced that it has for that reason the coming of the Son of man will be at an hour you do not think to be it.

Jesus spoke of the conclusion or end of the age on another occasion before discussing it in the context of the great tribulation coming upon the entire inhabited earth. In a series of illustrations, Jesus explained the harvest is the end of the age.

In support of its ongoing 1914 fraud, Bethel has been compelled to venture into the realm of absurdity—claiming that Jesus dispatched his powerful angels back in 1918 to accomplish the climactic ingathering. (Related article: Are the Angels Killing Off Your Bible Students?)

Although Russell’s Bible Students were already a separate and distinct sect set apart from the mainstream of Christendom, supposedly the angels uprooted the weeds from among the wheat back then. No one among the exalted explainers has ever ventured a guess as to how those bundled weeds have been burned up in the furnace. BroRando,

I admire your fortitude in the face of overwhelming opposition. You obviously stand by your beliefs, but so does my Catholic son, and so do millions of Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, atheists... I've spent a lifetime searching for the Truth. I thought I found it in WT doctrine, and for the most part I did. I also found lies and hypocrisy. Thankfully I wasn't alone, and was led to Robert's work. I don't place my faith in him, but I respect the man for standing up to the WT, and remaining steadfast in his role as a watchman for Jehovah. That said, I'm prepared to leave if he ever turns into a fraud. I doubt that will happen, but we are to place our faith in Jehovah & Jesus, not man & organization.

Brainwashing is very difficult to overcome. It requires introspection, humility and courage. Introspection is the ability to look inward to determine whether your beliefs are your own, or the result of years of conscious and unconscious programming. Once you realize your belief system has been programmed into you, you must have the humility to accept where you're wrong. Once you've come to terms with being wrong, you must have the courage to go against the group, risking ridicule and alienation, then ultimately expulsion. There are very powerful unconscious defense mechanisms people deploy in order to remain in the group. Confirmation bias, circular logic and cognitive dissonance are all too often found in high control organizations, as well as fear. When it comes to Jehovah's Witnesses, we see one additional mechanism used to keep members in line, actually using Biblical Truth to mask the lie. This is directly from Satan, through the man of Lawlessness.

The time will come for everyone, me included, to choose a side. Satan will be allowed to tempt us, scare us and ultimate kill some of us. Some of what we believe will turn out to be wrong, but as long as we're not lying to ourselves, and we remain meek, faithful and humble, Jehovah & Jesus will be there to guide us to the truth. If we instead rely on an organization to guide us, that road will lead to destruction... the Bible clearly lays this out. Those who stubbornly hold to the WT, the Catholic Church, or any other organization, will die at Armageddon because they will accept the MOTB.

Carl can I ask how old you were when you first learned the basic truths from JW. I ask because I was having a conversation with a XJW podcaster about how the majority NOT all XJW who become atheist and extreme vocal against JWs are those who were raised as witnesses not those who came into the truth as adults.

Robert made the comment the other day that those who can throw Jehovah out so easily never knew Jehovah. I was 19 when I first started my study. I had to do all the research. I had to find out what the other side meaning Christendom had to say. It took me months without stopping to get to the bottom of all the lies that Christendom teaches. Then I had all the opposition from my family and friends. No body goes thru the telephone book looking for a church and picks the Kingdom Hall. My point is many (NOT ALL) of those who are raised in the Truth never make it their own. They don’t go thru the fire so to speak. It’s just been my observation.

Soooo true, it's just the life they become accustomed to. I'm shocked at how many people leave and turn against Jehovah, as if it's his fault, I'm shocked that they no nothing about the history of the modern day organisation, that means they did not study. I studied 10yrs solid before I got baptised, I wanted to know everything, the good and the bad. Unfortunately once I was baptised then I started seeing all the CSA in the congregations and the "policies" I'd hear things like "but think of the reproach that would be brought on Jehovah's name if this gets out" I used to reply "what about the reproach that will be brought on Jehovah's name if it's hushed up?" The reaction was for me to be "punished" a little more. It was only when we studied the 2 Isaiah books that I began to understand what was going on inside the congregations with all the bullying, fraud, corruption, CSA etc but I didn't realise it started at the top until about 10yrs ago. Once you realise deceit is from the top, of any organisation, then you're doomed, helpless, and that's how I started feeling, totally helpless, exhausted from trying to defend Jehovah and the Bible amongst all the crap.. 🤢

In the back of my mind in my early years in the organization I always said to myself. “Without exception all of the leadership of the Israelites always went apostate”. What would make Jehovahs modern day people any different?

I think you are probably correct. Most of the kids I grew up with in the truth and who left, never came back at least not that I'm aware of. I can't say if they are atheist or not, or how opposed they may or may not be as I haven't seen any of them for many years now. There were about a dozen kids near my age group in that congregation, that didn't stay. Only 4-5 stayed in. To the best of my knowledge, only one other, besides myself, came back. And one of the ones that left committed suicide.
Quite honestly, I don't think I came to KNOW Jehovah at all during my childhood. I knew there had to be a God, but didn't understand Him. I think it was probably fear that brought me back. Then I started seeing some things that just didn't make sense and left again but couldn't completely let it go. So, started searching for Jehovah on my own and voila. As some others have said, I've learned more out of the org than I did in. I don't think the org does very well helping the young ones (or anyone for that matter), come to know Jehovah. You have to want to know Him and search for Him yourself, I think.🤔

Maybe Roberts book and videos have been too deep or too complicated for you to grasp so he made it very easy in these two sentences

A simple way to understand Bible prophesies is to study everything Watchtower has published and then detach 1914 and shift everything to
the immediate future. Next delete Christendom as the object of Gods Judgement and insert the Watchtower. Press Enter
He's either a very sophisticated Bot or counting time here.
