I just wonder what they are holding back in reserve , ready for some more new light . Maybe a Sunday talk done in Rap ? Maybe an interval with drinks served , every three drinks , gets you a free vaccine , and a Pfizer tee shirt , (Not yet wearable for the hall ) .
Extra extra read all About It "The Watchtower claims they have no King but Caesar...

Instructions that make no sense. Isn't that what they already primed us for? That points me back to something I told a brother a long time ago. I have to answer for myself and so does everyone else. There won't be any fleeing to the mountains but I suspect that they will pop up with something.
Yeah life saving instructions like their covid-19 kill shot recommendations ...

The Watchtower really have primed the Witnesses with the messages that make no sense . They do talks about it , that although to us , it may make no sense , it is for a purpose . I do not know where the Make sure of all things , and the If they say Jesus is in the wilderness , Do not believe it fits , but they are pushing the , even if it makes no sense , just do it . No having to make sure of all things , as to if these instructions originate with Jehovah .

Tell me about it. I was watching a 2022 Memorial talk during the Memorial on Sunday. When he came to the part about only the anointed partake, I kept waiting for a scriptural explanation to it but it never came, just a weird circular logic. It's true, because we say it's true. I tried not to let it break my concentration but they really are gaslighting a lot of the R&F with complete and utter BS on a regular basis.

In any case, wonderful Memorial and wishing all of you the best in Christ.

Back when they started saying this “ even if it makes no sense just do it” they connected it with when Jehovah led the Israelites through the wilderness in a direction ‘that didn’t make sense.’ But come to find out that’s not true.

Jehovah’s never given instructions without something to back it up. “For God is [a God], not of disorder, but of peace.” —1 Corinthians 14:33, 40 along with “But let all things take place decently and by arrangement.”

Also, as someone posted on here recently as to Jehovah giving instructions to the Israelites and the reason he was doing so is given at Exodus 14:1-4 “Jehovah now spoke to Moses, saying: 2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, that they should turn back and encamp before Pi·ha·hiʹroth between Migʹdol and the sea in view of Baʹal-zeʹphon. In front of it YOU are to encamp by the sea. 3 Then Pharʹaoh will certainly say respecting the sons of Israel, ‘They are wandering in confusion in the land. The wilderness has closed in upon them.’ 4 So I shall indeed let Pharʹaoh’s heart become obstinate, and he will certainly chase after them and I shall get glory for myself by means of Pharʹaoh and all his military forces; and the Egyptians will certainly know that I am Jehovah.” Accordingly they did just that.”

So much for WT trying to justify their giving instructions that make no sense DO IT ANYWAY reasoning.

Jehovah , having showed the children of Israel his might , by all the plagues in Israel , then wanted to show even more , using Pharaoh . He did so with the parting of the red sea , for it then to close in upon Pharaoh , and his army . Then in the wilderness , Jehovah kept the children of Israel alive in the most hostile environment and not even their sandals wore out . Every thing Jehovah did made sense , even the plagues , which showed the Egyptian gods to be false . The watchtower have offered us a few dates that have been non starters , lots of new light that is not so bright after all , and a few chairs being shuffled around on the deck of the Titanic , all the while , the band is playing out of tune .

There was obvious miraculous direction given the Israelites on a daily basis.
Fire at night and smoke by day plus food on the ground every morning. I am amazed the GB keep referring to this situation as indeed as you point out LadyBlue. If I was a r@f back then I'd be thinking id go right along with the program as Jehovah was clearly in charge.
How does the present day lot measure up????
