The Watchtowers 10 year plan for survival

If 2034 reaches them without the end, I think they will have to change the 1914 doctrine too. 2034 will mark 120 years since the last days "began". Nobody knows the day or the hour, but what will happen to their doctrine if the last days go beyond 120 years? It will be hard to believe that the last days will extend for more than 120 years. Some jws expect Armageddon to come in 2034 or before.

If this plan really is the case with watchtower, then part of the unspoken plan will have to be to annul the 1914 lie. Given the age of the majority within the GB they will either be putting their feet up in a nice retirement home or gone with the wind, leaving the likes of winder to serve up the death knell of the hope for the congregations. It is easily done. “Brothers, we must conclude that the dedicated brothers that have gone before were misled in their zeal. Those faithful one‘s served to test our faith and zeal and now we must wait upon Jehovah to reveal His day. Let us put to good use our faith and continue to wait upon Jehovah, building our faith, striving to fulfil His word in our endurance and expectation of His day. Clearly, as we know, Jehovah reveals Himself to us in His own time. We are not to blame. We owe no apology, but must wait upon Him to reveal His plan.” The ground work has already been laid! Right before us, only in the last month or two. It is certainly a time for discernment and keeping on the watch - making our faith our own as our very basis for faith is being stripped away from the brethren as we watch. Don’t go down with it.

They didn’t mention “donations”. Therefore one might assume, with no control or compunction to turn up at the meeting place, the meetings themselves will be by subscription, as will the internet channel. I wonder how the old song, “ We are Jehovah‘s Witnesses”, will be revamped…
🎶.”We subscribe to JW Dot Org,
🎶 We pay our subscription willingly,
🎶 We serve our god with In-teg-rity…..
🎶 What he foretells is not for me…”🎶

A case for Nil Desperandum if ever there was one. The whitewashed walls are set to fall. The end must be near.
Did you notice how they changed one of the verses of Prayer of Dedication song in 2016 to subliminally encourage more donations?

Not quite. I don‘t think I have been to a meeting since 1980. I did get a note about six years ago that they were ‘concerned’ about my attendance and would I like a lift to the meeting, but nothing since. That’s the closest they have come so far to asking for a donation. I expect I will get an elder‘s unannounced visit sometime in the next decade or so if watchtower have not sold off the hall by then.

Haha! That took them a long time to be concerned 😂

According to the latest video that is certainly the plan.

  • The Faithful Slave will soon refer to all Christians "taking the lead" in the Organization, not referring to solely anointed Christians. The Evil Slave may refer to the Governing Body of today in the event legal issues cause them to completely disband. Otherwise, the evil slave will simply refer to wicked men who manage to take the lead in Jehovah's Organization today.
  • The Revelation prophecies and Isaiah and Daniel prophecies will be completely rebranded and diluted to refer to more "faith strengthening" lessons on how Jehovah would help his people during the Last Days and into the 1000 year reign of Christ.
  • The memorial of Christ's death will no longer be observed by all of Jehovah's Witnesses, only the "anointed".
  • Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and the like will still be rejected however more clarification will be given that a Christian can choose to join non witness relatives on their holiday celebrations with an opportunity to "give an alternative witness" to them by non participation in holiday rituals.
  • The New World Translation will be revised again by 2033.
  • The Song Book will again be revised by 2033.
  • No more new printed publications will be produced after 2034, everything will be made available online. JWs will instead have the NWT, the Song Book, Midweek and weekend meeting schedules, and a set number of pamphlets. The public magazines will no longer be published after 2033. From 2034 onwards, the Watchtower Study Edition will be larger, with more supplementary articles for children, adolescents, and non JWs reading along at the meetings.
  • The 1914 doctrine will be abandoned last

Hey when I faded, I didn't hear a peep from them. I think they were glad really, almost relieved. It's going on 20 years and nothing. I could really have hurt feelings but luckily I'm just a cat.
Same here. It's been over 30 years, although the elders reached out to us, even when we moved an hour away. They were willing to come visit us late at night, I knew they were fishing, and we just blew them off. They didn't have our address. I had a friend still in who called me to tell me all the rumors about me. You know, the typical apostate teachings. "He grew a beard and long hair", "he started his own church", "he's written anti-watchtower books" ... such nonsense.

Like the practice of homeopathy, they are watering down the very things that people saw as truth, things that set it apart from all the rest of religion into one large meaningless soup, no different from all other religions. There will be nothing get out of. Who can be offended at nothing?! If prophesy is to be found true, that cannot happen. The watchtower must have meaning, identifiable meaning, to set it apart, to be representative of the “truth” for it to make is mark in the bible prophesy. The survival plan the GB are brewing up will at most, be seen part of the apostasy - its actual manifestation something far greater and heinous that has yet to be revealed. Well that’s my opinion anyway because when I look at American and English evangelism - happy clappers as we call them - just what is there to be offended at? It’s simply a group of people working themselves up into a frenzy in expectation of a rupture of some sort rather than a rapture.

Unfortunately, the Society is filled with "happy clappers". These can be likened to the proverbial frog in the pot of water. Who are lukewarm in their service. Remember, for the most part, these have been conditioned to believe it is led by Jehovah's spirit, their job is "not to question why, but to do or die." As one JW told me, "Jehovah will fix it in His due time, my job is to obey the slave class." They take no responsibility for themselves.
