This guy believes Jesus has been king since the first century

I posted about this guy before. His Trinity videos are excellent, and I think he does make a lot of good points, but this is an example of one of his assertions I don't buy. He also seems to believe that everybody should partake, which I also reject. I would really like to know what Robert's take on this would be.

I believe Jesus has been king since his death, he just hasn't been given the crown yet... so he's the crown prince.

Didn't even think about that. Greg still says some stuff I don't believe, for instance he doesn't seem to know if the 144,000 is an actual number or just a symbolic number and I also believe he thinks everyone should partake. I also am not on board with creating some other religion. I think that's just going to get messy later on. But nevertheless, I have a lot of respect for Greg and I love his Trinity videos.

I’m not for starting a new religion either. There are a lot of opinions that will get sorted out soon. When it comes to matters of conscience, I believe that as long as you’re doing what you believe is right, you won’t be accused of intentionally sinning. My son and I disagree about the emblems… I don’t think he’s going to be destroyed because he takes them multiple times a week. He’ll get destroyed if he doesn’t accept correction when Jesus returns… as will all who disobey his soon to come perfect instructions.

So I asked Greg to clarify and all he did was insult me. He has a real problem with this. I've seen him do this with other people before, and even then I thought his attitude could get overblown over seemingly trivial issues. I still like Greg. I think he's very smart, and maybe even some of his criticism of me could be valid. Nevertheless, his people skills definitely need some work.

Jesus became king when he was anointed. However, his Kingdom exists as the congregation of the firstborn until such time as he asserts his authority and begins the overthrow of Satan's dominion. Anyone who claims all Christians are anointed and in the new covenant is either ignorant or intentionally lying. And there are a lot of both out there.

It does seem strange to me too, but this could be a huge misunderstanding on my part. I just remember on a livestream once when I lived in Vermont he was trying to get people to partake as a group. I'm just not exactly sure what his reasoning on that was. He seems to believe in a 2 class system. Uh... maybe. But even that I'm not certain of. He didn't mention either of those things in the video he made about the differences in JWs and Christian Servants of Jah.

Even the small number of differences he points out, I don't agree with all of them. It seems being a CWofJah is a bit more open than being a JW. Still, I reject point 1 because I believe despite the flaws of the Org, JWs are God's chosen people. Creating a new group and giving it a name, at least IMO, misses the point. There's nothing inherently wrong with having a group or even naming it, but once you start doing that it opens the door to a whole new set of stumbling blocks. That's just what humans do naturally. Creating a sect, on the other hand, is a different story. We don't need to be going around creating new religions. Jah has enough problems with the organization he already has.

There are other issues I have with his "Differences" video. If you watch it, you'll see.

Honestly Robert, I have been thinking about this lately. I'm not anointed but I'm beginning to believe we should all partake. As Jesus said:
“Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. John 6:53 Perhaps he wasn't taking about the emblems there but it seems like he is.

Surely you've done an in-depth talk about this. Could you please post a link, if you have.

I'm pretty sure there is more to that scripture than partaking because Jesus death paid for all of our sins. Then again, this isn't something I have thought much about because I am not affiliated with the Watchtower at all. So there wouldn't be a situation where that would even come up. I guess I could eat crackers and drink wine at home. But I seriously doubt that's what that means.

Jesus Christ is not officially King yet. Let me explain. When a new president is elected on November 5th, he is considered president - elect, he doesn't rule until January 20th. That is the interim period. That's where things can get confusing. Some think he was King Elect after he rose up after 3 days of his death, others think 1914, and then others think he won't be King until the day of Armageddon. I don't think anyone knows for sure.

Having life in oneself means being immortal. Prior to Jesus coming to earth the only one to have life in himself was Jehovah. Billions of people are going to receive an earthly resurrection. Most did not in any sense drink the blood of the Son of man or eat his flesh. Will they be alive when they are resurrected? Obviously. Will they have life in themselves? No.

I could be wrong, but I believe this guy just made a video saying how horrible and slanderous I am. He doesn't come out and mention me directly. It's just funny he'd make this themed video right after having a dispute with him. Was I in the wrong here? You can go back and read my comments under the original video I posted. Unless he removed my comments. So apparently, I am to be avoided at all cost and am bound in dense darkness like the demons.
