This is what happens when you "disagree" with WT

I have watched a few of his videos. I get it. I think they are hilarious. Well done, as far as production. It's just that being a ridiculer isn't going to make you any friends in heaven.
Agreed. Issues we have are against God's people, not like we are Elijah against the prophets of Baal. I've always felt we should still show respect like David did to Saul, even though Saul was the epitome of an apostate at the time.

I could be wrong but I'm not aware of any rivalry while Russell was alive more Rutherford consolidating influence in the years after his death. @Nomex

@BagdadBill hang in there I've been enraged for a few days at a sodomite coworker that's still slandering me without provocation to people on events nearly six years ago like there's nothing better for him to do but I'm keeping my cool there's plenty to test our restraint in this genocidal clownworld we're enduring and it'll definitely be unpleasant to watch the org go witch hunt pitchforks and all

Calling it college in current year is certainly an exaggeration given the society's content especially the watchtowers are so dumbed down now compared to the ones we'd go over when I was a child. Only thing of any merit left I can think of remaining is the first twenty or so minutes of the midweek meetings going over the weekly bible readings. And unfortunately the ministry is atrophying the org is very and observably growing more over reliant on the preaching to grieving people routine pretty one note/can't pitch themselves/educate people on anything else to start with. It doesn't have to be this way of course but that would require 1. The GB not shrinking the writing department like they have 2. Trusting in their subordinates and delegating enough for them to be able to produce half the quantity and quality of content they routinely did twenty years ago.
Yea. It's kinda depressing.

The baffling part is how many individuals of the flock is aware of it when you bring it up, don't like it yet still praises the shallowing shift with whatever rationales. I've had elders literally try to force me to say the watchtowers are directly from Jesus like he's possessing the writers or something all i could do to get out of that room without being disfellowshipped for not worshipping the GB was say I have no empirical evidence to lay on the table to refute that kind of supernatural truth claim.

This also happened to me about 20 years ago. One of the elders printed articles form the Watchtower from the 70's about beards being "worldly" and even 20 years ago, that was still 25 plus years earlier...and absolutely nothing from the Bible actually about beards. And I also heard it was some rivalry between Rutherford and Russel.
Yes, I knew there was rivalry between those two. All these “rules” are centered around fleshly thinking. If Jesus were here today they’d probably counsel and remove him because he would certainty put them in their place…probably telling them something like he told the Sadducees and Pharisees:

“Woe to you…hypocrites! because you give the tenth of the mint and the dill and the cumin, but you have disregarded the weightier matters of the Law, namely, justice and mercy and faithfulness. These things it was necessary to do, yet not to disregard the other things.”

And that is exactly what is going to happen when Jesus actually returns and the actual Christ Brothers are sealed, and start acting exactly like Christ did when he was on the earth. They will be 100% exactly like those Jewish religious leaders....
In the newest "Caleb and Sofia video about "true friends" Martha's Jewish friend who is rejecting Jesus is using the arguments the Scribes and Pharisees used to "prove" Jesus is an "apostate" and they are so unbelievably tone deaf and lack of self awareness they have no idea they have just demonstrated their very attitude towards anyone who disagrees with them!

It is more than that. The big players are the same: Satan and Jehovah. That's why even though civilization changes as far as customs and technology and whatever, the issues of faith do not.

Yep! I started watching this and it was funny and clever but then...I don't know...they are still God's organization as messed up as they've become. It's like making fun of your grandfather because he's a bit eccentric now. That's probably not a good analogy but you get the idea. I'm glad RK said it and not me. :) As funny and clever as this is, I just don't think it will build you up spiritually.

But to each his own.
1. The GB not shrinking the writing department like they have 2. Trusting in their subordinates at headquarters and delegating enough for them to be able to produce half the quantity and quality of content they routinely did twenty years ago.
I think it would also require a heaping helping of God's spirit and their current behavior most likely finds them lacking in that department, unfortunately.
I am feeling some very serious Klingon rage right now toward the world in general.
QAPLA! :)

In the first century, Jesus attended a meeting on the Sabbath and announced to the synagogue that he was the long-awaited Messiah. They tried to shove him off a cliff. Over the course of his ministry, Jesus healed on the Sabbath and in the synagogues and it drove the Pharisees and Jews into a murderous rage. And the record shows that all during Paul's ministry he would preach in the scattered synagogues and invariably the unbelieving Jews were stir up the crowds and assault Paul. So, the most murderous people were not the people of the nations but the Jews, Jehovah's own people. Likewise, when Christ returns and turns everything upside down those who are the most pious Christians just might not welcome Jesus and all that that implies and if they do not, they will revert to type and be infused with the spirit of Satan and become like those murderous Jews in the first century.
Thanks. Always a straight answer. Who could ask for more.

John 1:11
He came to His own, and His own people did not receive Him.
John 16:
1. “I have said all these things to you to keep you from falling away.
2 They will put you out of the synagogues. Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God.
3 And they will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me.
4 But I have said these things to you, that when their hour comes you may remember that I told them to you.

That I totally get and of course you are right.
If you watch one of his non-animation videos (along the beach), he opens up about his background and disability quite a bit- and these videos seem to be a sort of processing therapy for him. Kudos. He suggests that these are temporary and he's looking forward to his new chapter of grandparenthood - not as someone stewing in ongoing bitter negativity.

Did you see the lawsuit WT hired a law firm and filed against Google/Youtube and 'Kevin McFree' for copy-right issues?! Our donated dollars going towards this?! I am not convinced this organization has been directed by Jehovah's hand, or that Jehovah does not have a sense of humor.

(2 Timothy 3:8, 9) Now in the way that Janʹnes and Jamʹbres opposed Moses, so these also go on opposing the truth. Such men are completely corrupted in mind, disapproved as regards the faith. 9 Nevertheless, they will make no further progress, for their folly will be very plain to all, as it was with those two men.

I did read about that saga...aye, aye, aye.

Was it Rutherford that said: "You can't kick every dog that barks"? Well now, apparently, you not only can, but you should.

They really are off the rails...

Can you imagine being so thinned skinned you bring a law suit against a critic making fun of you with Lego animation. They must have been a laughing stock to the court. And imagine being so angry and have such lack of self awareness that you do don't care about the attention you are bringing to the courts, YouTube, Google etc, who would have never seen any of these videos otherwise. It just demonstrates how fragile their whole narrative is, and what a total house of cards they have built.
