I have no idea what you are referring to. No one is down playing showing love, but there are standards that must be respected. I don’t think this is about interpretation nor opinion. She was insulting to others and was non-stop pushing an agenda that she couldn’t defend scripturally. Also, she was the one who couldn’t agree to disagree and I found her quite disagreeable. It reminds me of Absalom.
2 Samuel 15:4-6: “Abʹsa·lom would say: “If only I were appointed judge in the land! Then every man who has a legal case or judgment could come to me, and I would see that he receives justice.” And when a man came near to bow down to him, Abʹsa·lom would extend his hand and grab hold of him and kiss him. Abʹsa·lom would do this to all the Israelites who would come in to the king for judgment; so Abʹsa·lom kept stealing the hearts of the men of Israel.”
P.S. Absalom was a phony and a fraud but people did like him. Too bad he either wasn’t corrected or he didn’t accept the correction.
