This video examines every paragraph in this article showing how the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses are truly manipulating Jehovah's Witnesses to follow the Watchtower instead of Jesus and the written word of God.
It’s well worth a listen especially for many of those not sure what they want to do as far as being physically in and mentally out.
We may have to make sacrifices but our putting Jesus and Jehovah first is the most important. John 4:24 “God is a Spirit, and those worshipping him must worship with spirit and truth.”
Not through an organization.
“Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

This video will point out different ways that the organization manipulates your mind and gaslights you into thinking of them as the only ones we can trust. But like Jesus said, if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.

All I have left to say is…I pray that many of you will wake up. Here’s the video…

I watched this video yesterday and what stuck out to me the most was the fact that Jesus wasn't mentioned ONCE through this entire wt lesson! Our salvation now depends on being obedient to the GB...amazing!

Of course, lol. But did you read yesterday's wt? Mark martin, in a nutshell is just basically debunking the idea that we need the Gb to survive God's coming wrath. I'm sure you agree with that.
Yes. I read it. I posted an article on e-watchman and on this forum.

I used to listen to Mark Martin until insisting Christ being the mediator for everyone
Please Goldie after listen to Mark on the subject then listen to the truth

Trust me Mick, I do not follow mark martin. I've seen many holes in his teachings. However, I do think he is on point with this video in reviewing the wt article, and he's basically in agreement with Robert's article. This paragraph from Robert's article is what mark m was bringing out in his wt review.

"The Watchtower’s insidious, inspired suggestion that we will be safe from Satan’s false teaching and propaganda only by remaining loyal to the Watchtower is a devilish lie. Only by obeying Jesus’ prerecorded life-saving instructions will we demonstrate our love of the truth at the critical moment of decision."

As far as I understand, Mark Martin keeps the Sabbath. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that's my understanding

Apart from that, I agree that yesterday's Watchtower study was a disaster

They put me as a reader to read the Watchtower
They never give me anything, but when an article comes out that praises the Governing Body, they give it to me on purpose so that I can read it or talk about it.

Haha, it's like asking me to burn incense in front of "Caesar"

I was absent and saw everything on zoom

So many barbarities were said that it is evident that the Governing Body has made a sect around them and the brothers are blindly following them, committing idolatry.

Sects are works of the flesh and it is clear that the governing body is not guided by spirit

Yes, I do believe mark martin keeps the Sabbath.

This brother is very eliquent at pointing out all that’s wrong with WT.org but unfortunately like many ex JW critics, he’s completely ignorant about all the prophetic events about to unfold on the world scene. I haven't looked into his body of work but you’d think there would’ve been at least one mention of WT’s misinterpretation of 1914 in his talk seeing how that teaching will soon become the biggest stumbling block in history of the org resulting in not a few members losing their lives.
I did enjoy the many points he did bring out about the .org idolatrously putting themselves on an equal standing as Jehovah.
Thanks for sharing sister.

I trust you Goldie I know you will get it: There is no correlation between Martin and Watchman in this case; Martin does not believe in the W/T's interpretation of Christ being mediator only for 144,000 where as W/T and Jehovah's watchman concur that Christ is the mediator only for the 144,000 and is ransomer for the Gt Crowd. Goldie somethings take a while in assimilating. Please listen again to the contradiction between Martin and Robert on the issue of who Christ is the mediator for. It's a most worthy milestone in our understanding of Christ.

I realize that Mick. I was simply referring to the one video...nothing else.

Excuse my passion at times Goldie; I'm rushing to us all having accurate knowledge so we can serve shoulder to shoulder. Please take your time in comparing the two videos. P.s the w/t has gone rogue but they had it right with Christ's mediatorialship and Martin got it wrong.

The expression "a blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and then but finding that acorn doesn't mean he can see".
Mark Martin's assessment of the Watchtower article that he reviewed was spot-on, in our opinion. However, that in itself, doesn't mean he's correct on other issues.

Early on in our search for truth, we listened to Mark Martin on a somewhat regular basis; however, as we learned more about his core teachings, we realized there were several beliefs that we could not accept.
We feel quite confident that we can listen to what he has to say on a given point, where we are in agreement, without fear of being coerced to accept something we do not believe. Obviously this is in direct conflict with WT policy. But just to be clear, we are here because we basically agree with Watchman on prophecy.
To us, this seems to be the the position from which Goldie is expressing herself.

Wow do you agree with Martin that Christ is the mediator for all then? If so I'll stop haunting you and Goldie and give you squirrels some more time chortle!

Absolutely not. Just agree with his assessment of the WT organization and we really just don't see anything wrong with that.
We quit watching Martin because of his view that Christ is mediator of everyone along with his belief in the Sabbath.
That's why we're here, Mick:)

Yes, what you say is true but I don’t follow Mark Martin nor ANY man for that matter. I only like to listen to his rebuttal of the Watchtower study articles. No, he didn’t mention 1914 error, but I believe he’s well aware of it. I also don’t believe he wants to gain a following either as some here are leaning towards.
I believe we should be careful not to fall into the trap of becoming a follower of any man or group of men. That goes for women as well.
However, Martin does promote following Jesus every time I’ve watched his rebuttals. That still doesn’t mean I follow him, whether it’s on YouTube…nor do I hang on his every word.

As I pointed out ahead of the video, I posted it strictly for those who are undecided about leaving WT because they are becoming more diabolical with all their manipulation to follow the WT instead of Jesus. It’s insidious the way they are doing this more and more and since we are trying to help and encourage others, they should be well aware of this.
I’m not worried about his eloquence in speaking or him mentioning 1914. There are so many things that many also need to be well aware of.

Why should we worry about what this one man believes? It doesn’t mean we follow him simply because a video is posted referring to the WT study article and the manipulation behind it.
We have not been given the right to judge anyone here but I’m beginning to find that any time something is posted like this, right away a defense is made as if we’re somehow going against the Watchman. Like I said I don’t follow any man. I’m not about to replace one idol with another. That’s what we need to be careful about.

Here are Jesus’s words I want to follow: Matthew 22:36-40 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 He said to him: “‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’ 38 This is the greatest and first commandment. 39 The second, like it, is this: ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments the whole Law hangs, and the Prophets.”

Question: I’ve noticed at times someone will post an article from jw dot org or post the annual meeting etc. Does that mean that whoever posted it still follows the GB?

I could go on with other examples but I better stop here.

You said his take on the w.t article was spot on; and reference to squirrels; it's not nuts were chasing but finding pearls of great value. I wish you were more clear about the mediatorialship before. So glad we are on the same page. you had me concerned.

I liked how he mentioned worshipping with spirit and truth which negates the need to join a brick and mortar religion to gain Jehovahs approval. I don’t think WT gets that simple truth. They’d like to keep the rank and file believing salvation is only found through their filters.

1 Timothy 2:3-6 “This is fine and acceptable in the sight of our Savior, God, 4 whose will is that all sorts of people should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth. 5 For there is one God, and ONE MEDIATOR between God and MEN, A MAN, CHRIST JESUS, 6 who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all—this is what is to be witnessed to in its own due time.”

I understand where you're coming from, Mick, and I appreciate your enthusiasm. However, the truth is, no one has it all right! Sorry! While head knowledge is valuable, God's Word reminds us that love is the most important thing. Love is the identifying mark of true Christians (1 John 4:8). It's not just about the understanding of prophesy.
