Watchtower's advice for dealing with pandemic.

This week's WT study article has reached the heights of shameless hypocrisy. To help JWs cope with fear and anxiety, especially during pandemics the third paragraph states:
An epidemic or a pandemic can drastically change almost every part of life. Consider the impact COVID-19 had on many. In one study, more than half of the people reported having trouble sleeping during that pandemic. The outbreak contributed to a sharp increase in anxiety, depression, alcohol and drug abuse, domestic violence, and attempted suicide. If there is a disease outbreak where you live, how can you control your anxiety and enjoy the peace of God?
The Governing Body is shameless. They were very much involved in stoking fear and panic. During their monthly updates, they were especially keen to announce the escalating death toll, supposedly caused by the virus. I say, "supposedly" because we now know many of the victims of "Covid" were actually murdered in their hospital beds by powerful drugs. Morris chastised JWs for daring to go outside, claiming it was risky and foolhardy. What utter nonsense. There is no evidence anyone ever contracted the virus out of doors. There was never a word of advice about supplementing with D3 and zinc and other immune boosters. Never a word about the effectiveness of ivermectin. Instead, the GB claimed that Jehovah provided the vaccines and the only way JWs could remain in the land of the living is by allowing themselves to be injected with the untested serum. Incredibly, paragraph six states:
A disease outbreak will no doubt disrupt some aspects of your routine, but do not let it interfere with your personal study or meeting attendance.
In case JWs have short-term memory loss, the WT ordered the closure of every Kingdom Hall on planet earth and they stayed shuttered far beyond when most other places of worship reopened. More gaslighting in paragraph 7:

Reach out to your brothers and sisters. A disease outbreak may require that we maintain physical distancing even when we are with our fellow worshippers. At a time like that, you might feel as did the apostle John. He wanted to see his friend Gaius face-to-face
If JW's are all vaxxed and boosted as the GB has mandated, and everyone is wearing surgical masks, what is the risk of meeting face-to-face?

We are fortunate to see through the gas lighting, the same cannot be said for the vast majority of witnesses who have unfortunately taken the clot shot. That's probably why I have stopped reading and watching all their material, there is too much garbage to wade through. It's even becoming difficult to sit through Sundays meeting.

We are sitting on a gold mine; a mine of spiritual wealth that no one wants but will soon need. We share nuggets of the same wealth with each other hoping to draw visiting eyes to the riches in Christ. We hold our heads up while others are looking down, we are looking to what has been forewarned! Thanks Watchman for a place to learn, grow and share encouragement as we see this day upon us.

This article came out recently! I would love to send to all those in the org that treated me like patient X but alas…I won’t feed the beasts of ego and resentment. But hey! At least they admitting in some sense that Jehovah’s design does in fact actually work better! Isn’t that somethen how that happens!

i feel the same way. There used to be many good nuggets of inspiration i would walk away from meeting with, but i'm finding myself getting more outraged and distracted by the bs that's continually pedaled, and the blind buy-in of the rest of the cong. It makes me sad- meetings were once a place of solace

I have friends that have seen the pandemic for what it was, my mum is a serving witness and most of my family, I have recently been considering having a study and returning after several years away. I watched the recent CO visit via zoom and was enjoying the talk until he mentioned Jehovah asked is to stay home, during the pandemic to save lifes, I looked at my mum and said I dont think so, unfortunately she watched the news and listened to the elders and got all of her jabs, I am now having many questions concerning what's currently happening and doing my own research, luckily I have a friend who feels the same way..

And, I’m sure the virus knows not to travel outside of 6 feet. It is so stupid to be laughable.

Plus even though the truth about the virus and the vaccine is now plain for all to see, they won’t accept it. I saw two brothers sitting at a cart just last Wednesday still wearing masks outdoors. The Cochrane Review is the holy grail for medical scientific studies. It is now settled science that masks do nothing to little to prevent the contagion of viruses. But they believe the GB speaks for Jehovah and their instructions have supernatural benefits. That is why they used the example of Naaman bathing in the Jordan. How easy it is to be holy. Just put on your mask. Sounds like a scripture containing case.

The naaman example just totally floored me!! Comparing that example to the shot was mind blowing!

They couldn’t pay me to have an account! Probably some tactic to keep track of who has an account and to monitor us. They have no trust in the sheep, who are only “skinned and thrown about like sheep without a shepherd.”

Wow that is new! I had checked within the last week and didn’t need an account but now I do. They really keep revealing their true identity. It is no longer about preaching but becoming an exclusive club that requires submission.
