This week's WT study article has reached the heights of shameless hypocrisy. To help JWs cope with fear and anxiety, especially during pandemics the third paragraph states:
The Governing Body is shameless. They were very much involved in stoking fear and panic. During their monthly updates, they were especially keen to announce the escalating death toll, supposedly caused by the virus. I say, "supposedly" because we now know many of the victims of "Covid" were actually murdered in their hospital beds by powerful drugs. Morris chastised JWs for daring to go outside, claiming it was risky and foolhardy. What utter nonsense. There is no evidence anyone ever contracted the virus out of doors. There was never a word of advice about supplementing with D3 and zinc and other immune boosters. Never a word about the effectiveness of ivermectin. Instead, the GB claimed that Jehovah provided the vaccines and the only way JWs could remain in the land of the living is by allowing themselves to be injected with the untested serum. Incredibly, paragraph six states:An epidemic or a pandemic can drastically change almost every part of life. Consider the impact COVID-19 had on many. In one study, more than half of the people reported having trouble sleeping during that pandemic. The outbreak contributed to a sharp increase in anxiety, depression, alcohol and drug abuse, domestic violence, and attempted suicide. If there is a disease outbreak where you live, how can you control your anxiety and enjoy the peace of God?
In case JWs have short-term memory loss, the WT ordered the closure of every Kingdom Hall on planet earth and they stayed shuttered far beyond when most other places of worship reopened. More gaslighting in paragraph 7:A disease outbreak will no doubt disrupt some aspects of your routine, but do not let it interfere with your personal study or meeting attendance.
If JW's are all vaxxed and boosted as the GB has mandated, and everyone is wearing surgical masks, what is the risk of meeting face-to-face?Reach out to your brothers and sisters. A disease outbreak may require that we maintain physical distancing even when we are with our fellow worshippers. At a time like that, you might feel as did the apostle John. He wanted to see his friend Gaius face-to-face
The Watchtower’s response to the pandemic and vaccine mandate
Over the course of the Coronavirus pandemic, I posted a number of articles and videos on the situation, particularly as it relates to Jehovah’s Witnesses. Because various articles were posted randomly in different categories in order to make this information more readily available to searchers...
