I am coming against you in the name of Jehovah of armies.—1 Sam. 17:45.

Likely while he was still a teenager, David visited the army camp of the Israelites. He found that the soldiers were terrified because a giant Philistine named Goliath had come out to “taunt the battle line of Israel.” (1 Sam. 17:10, 11) The soldiers’ fear was a result of their focusing on the giant and the taunts they heard on the battlefield. (1 Sam. 17:24, 25) David, however, viewed the situation from a different perspective. He viewed what was happening as a challenge, not merely against the battle line of Israel but against “the battle line of the living God.” (1 Sam. 17:26) David had Jehovah foremost in mind. David trusted that the God who had helped him when he was a shepherd would help him again in this situation. Certain of God’s backing, David faced Goliath and, of course, he won!—1 Sam. 17:45-51. w24.06 21 ¶7
It is noteworthy that David's older brothers, who were on the battle line, rebuked young David. They did not know that Jehovah's spirit was on him. Neither did Saul. That is why they tried to dress David in battle armor. It was unnecessary. Really, David's victory over Goliath was a rebuke to Saul and his army. Why didn't they have faith enough to pick up the name of Jehovah and take out the taunting giant?

I guess I view things from a different perspective too. I view the Watchtower's unfaithfulness as a challenge. They have reproached the name of Jehovah, not in the same way as Goliath, but just as blasphemous. The Watchtower does not own the name of God. That is why the name of Jehovah has been on the cover of the books I have published. I have brought the name and authority of Jehovah God to bear against the Watchtower. I have faith that at some point in the near future, the things written therein will come true.

Jeremiah 12:14-16: “This is what Jehovah ways against all my wicked neighbors, who are touching the inheritance that I caused my people Israel to possess: ‘Here I am uprooting them from their land, and I will uproot the house of Judah from among them. But after I uproot them, I will again have mercy on them and bring each of them back to his inheritance and to his land. And if they make sure to learn the ways of my people and to swear by my name, “As surely as Jehovah is alive!” just as they taught my people to swear by Baal, they will then be built up among my people. But if they refuse to obey, I will also uproot that nation, uprooting and destroying it,’ declares Jehovah.”

Another great article, difficult to comprehend how more brothers aren't questioning why there is no scriptural support for the repeated statement that "political powers will remove the world’s false religious organizations, that event will mark the start of the great tribulation." When they quote Rev 17:16, but then add the bit of this starting the GT, is the warning in Rev 22:18 apt?
18  “I am bearing witness to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone makes an addition to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll

But these have been written down so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and because of believing, you may have life by means of his name.

That is a very interesting point Robert 😃 That's one of the thing's I love about this forum and your writings, I'm constantly learning new scriptural insights, whilst over at Watchtower it's a famine..
isn't that wonderful!

Ezekiel 34:12

I will care for my sheep like a shepherd who has found his scattered sheep and is feeding them. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered in the day of clouds and thick gloom.

It is indeed Iflynn 😍 In 2020 when I started searching around on-line looking for brothers and sisters who also were upset and confused about the GB teaming up with the authorities, I knew I would find brothers and sisters that felt the same but I had no idea that they'd have the explanation too.. amazing 😍

finding Roberts forum and being able to move forward puts matters into perspective for me we can keep praying for those lost sheep at the watchtower and try and help them but in the end Jehovah knows who his sheep are.

“‘As for you, my sheep, the sheep that I care for, you are but men, and I am your God,’ declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.”
