I was very happy doing lots of preaching and hanging out with other JWs in 2018 to early 2020. Then in late 2019 there was some talk about a pandemic, but I didn't take it seriously. I knew a lot of people got a bad flu in December 2019, myself included, so I thought it had passed. I couldn't believe it when months later we were all on Zoom and everyone was talking about scariants and garbage like that, me thinking "Do we believe in evolution now?" Of course, Zoom association wasn't association to me. At least in the country I live, there were no lockdowns, only limits on the number of people meeting together. At one point I was in a bar with my old bible student. He'd given up with the JWs when they endorsed the pandemic and especially when they endorsed the clot shot. Anyway at the time the government rule was no groups of three or more after 6pm. We struck up a conversation with some other people but the owner of the bar was panicking because a passerby could report the bar if they saw us talking and have the bar fined and shut down for a couple of weeks. She knew a bar who had suffered the same fate.
At the same time, we were informed by an announcement at the meeting we were not allowed to meet with other members of the cong socially, even though the government would allow it. It made absolutely no sense as I was mixing with worldly people every day, so it wouldn't stop any transmission. It seemed like the cong's man-made rules override scripture (Heb 10:25). I have been questioning all this lunacy ever since. It's been interesting to see how they've gone back and forth on meeting in person.
I've also been very interested in what happened with Rolf Furuli. The GB applied Matt 24:24 to him and maybe Greg Stafford, but it seems a bit of stretch to me that a couple of obscure academics could fulfill such an important prophecy and Rev 19:20 seems to correlate to Matt 24:24 quite well in my opinion. It's all pretty interesting.

I didn't know there was a character called Bagwort in Harry Potter. I have no idea what the secret railway station of 13.5 is.
There was not a character called bagwort. It was a pun on the dialect used for other characters and which is characteristic of the name and which are similar in pronunciation to your chosen site name. No offence intended. The 13.5 number of train platform is used in the film to refer to a magical platform that no one other than the members of the wizards know about.

No offence taken. I don't much about HP, just that they had a flying Ford Anglia in it!
