So what's everybody doing these days spiritually speaking?
  1. Still go to the Hall for spiritual junk food?
  2. Stay home and study on your own?
  3. Just fellowship on forums?
  4. Attend another Church?
  5. Formed your own Bible study group?

Option 1 for me. The food might be junk but the association is mostly genuine and helps me
How long do you think that will last? I stayed not so much for the association, but for the union of the family. I did have friends inside, but they were all PIMI, not thinkers, and they wouldn't hesitate to turn in their own mothers if they had too. I remember one Thursday evening before the School and Service meeting, a sister called to tell us that the elders were going to announce that she was being disfellowshipped. She told us that she wanted to get something off her chest and that was that the elders had her and her hubby and two other couples that we were good friends with, spy on us and report back to them on anything suspicious. There wasn't anyone we could trust, and quite personally, I didn't care too. After all I wanted to leave, but my wife at the time didn't because she would lose her mother and other JW relatives.

Personally, I haven't seen the inside of a Kingdom Hall in over 30 years, don't care too either. I had one of the first websites geared to enlightening JWs, on the old AOL when the internet was just starting out, using dial-up. I was only interested in the PIMO's, since they were the ones questioning. The PIMI's I left alone. Too often trying to enlighten PIMI's only destroys their faith, so leave them in their happy, because they don't know any better.

As I previously mentioned, I meet with a home church. We have topical studies. We also have a question box, should a question arise during one of our group studies or personal studies, we out it in the box and discuss them one by one during our question meeting time. Currently we are having studies on the Memorial, discussing the Old and New Testament types (Passover/Memorial). We'll have these studies until Memorial. Then we'll be having our verse-by-verse studies in the Minor Prophets. It's a small group, only 8 of us.

By giving me a place to discuss the handful of JW doctrines that I don't agree with, so I don't get in trouble discussing them in the congregation.
Ok fair enough, everyone needs an outlet. If you’re newly questioning it is so important to have somewhere to discuss it. I just want to point out one thing that if you as an adult, legit fear getting in trouble by not agreeing with a religious doctrine that means it’s not a religion but an actual cult. The truth should stand up to scrutiny and not fear questions.

In Genesis 18:23-33 Abraham questioned Jehovah on whether he would still destroy Sodom and Gomorrah if there were righteous people of various amounts left in the city.

Did Jehovah scold or punish Abraham for this? No.

So what makes WT think that they are above Jehovah?

And Jesus was questioned by the Pharisees and Sadduccees. Did he answer their questions? Yes.

They were wicked.

Did he answer his apostles questions. Yes.

WT is acting like the government, or worse, prison guards. Not like shepherds are anointed men.
