Why Can’t People Make Peace?—What Does the Bible Say?

There is a mini-article on jw.org explaining why there are ongoing wars. Amazingly, they do not mention 1914. Maybe that's progress, I don't know.

While it is true that the British Empire has implemented a perpetual war scheme since 2001, the big guns are still silent. But it looks as though that is about to change. The reason is not really talked about. Certainly, the Watchtower has no insight. But the reason the Anglo imperium is pushing for global war is because of the emergence of the BRICS coupled with China's One Belt initiative. It appears that Russia and China are about to roll out a new financial system completely independent from the London-dominated Dollar system. It could begin this year. Some 50 more nations are lining up to join the new powerhouse economic bloc, the so-called global south. So, this is why there will be war and, soon, world war. The Anglo masters are not going to relinquish control. They intend to blow everything up and set up their own new world order.

Of course, what is happening geo-politically is just what we can see. Unseen, the real cause of the next war will be the ouster of Satan and his angels. The world has not experienced the foretold "woe" because the Devil has come down to you in great anger.

It has recently dawned on me that when God intervenes to cut short the tribulation, it will be an end to war, at least between nations. If you read the 4th chapter of Micah, it explains that God will cause the nations to beat their swords into plowshares. We might be inclined to imagine that describes the peaceful post-Armageddon new world, but apparently not. That is apparent from what is stated next: "They will sit, each one under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the mouth of Jehovah of armies has spoken. For all the peoples will walk, each in the name of its god, but we will walk in the name of Jehovah our God forever and ever."

Obviously, no one will be afraid in the peaceful new world for the simple reason that evil-doers will not exist. But according to the verse above, peoples of the nations who worship demon gods will still exist when God's people reside in security. The reason they will not be afraid is because God will protect them in a mighty way. Again, the next two verses make it even clearer: "In that day,” declares Jehovah, “I will gather the one who was limping, and collect together the dispersed one, along with those I treated harshly. I will make the one who was limping a remnant, and the one far removed a mighty nation; and Jehovah will rule as king over them in Mount Zion, from now on and forever."

The Kingdom of God has not begun ruling. It will come to full might after God intervenes to prevent the Devil from blowing the world up in a nuclear holocaust.

Could that be the period where Peace and Security will be called mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 5:3
Or could that be the period that Satan is being locked in the abyss as mentioned in Revelation 20:3?

I asked you what Micah was talking about some 13-14 years ago on e-watchman ..Something to the effect of how can there be peace or a paradise like environment when the other nations are still worshipping false gods? I never figured out how this could happen because I thought the angels would have removed the evil doers..

We have all been indoctrinated to believe that Armageddon is next after dissolution of Babylon the Great; Yet there is 1,260 days of Zion the return of Christ and nations going up the mountain to learn peace and war no more; we will all be in a safe invironment protected by the two Olive trees, the 8 Dukes of mankind; this is what incites Gog to come and invade the open rural country talked of in Zech2:4 it will inflame Gog to do so Eze38:11 "Gog will say 'I will invade the land of unprotected settlements...I will come against those living in security without disturbance...no bars or gates!'" Hooks in his jaws to the low plain of decision which is Armageddon....Selah! Selah!

Thank you for sharing this update. And in excellent writing style as always.
This really paints a beautiful picture.

I heard Saudi Arabia joined BRICS this year and might try to start selling oil in other currencies.

Sometime in the past week I was listening to someone, I forget who, maybe Alex Jones talking about Dr Strangelove, as he had Vivian Kubrick on yesterday, but it was before that, so I don't know, I'm thinking maybe even Judge Nap's show, but anyway, whoever it was laid out the West's crazy intent regarding a nuclear exchange, and it was basically, the duel Anglo-American world power, in the case of a nuclear war, doesn't want any other nation like Indian for example, to emerge more powerful than the US afterwards, so they intend to wipe out all civilization so that they can emerge from their bunkers 100 years later and still dominate mankind!

Sounds about right to me....

But again, I am convinced still, when Jehovah cuts short the GT Satan and his demons intend to take credit for it and that will be part of the "worship of the image of the wild beast", because mankind in general who don't know any better will fall for it, in part because Satan will of course appeal to individuals selfishness.

Interesting insight, thank you.

I've always wondered why has Jehovah allowed Satan and the demons access to the heavenly realm after their rebellion? Obviously they add no value to that realm other than being rebels, why is Jehovah willing to wait for such a long period before denying them access to his presence?
When we talk about the goings on in heaven, it is, obviously, a different world. Heaven is not in the same time zone as Earth. When God prepared the Earth over the course of six "days," he designated the seventh day as a special day of rest. Jehovah's sabbath is still ongoing. We know, or at least are fairly certain, that the end of God's "day" of rest will coincide with the conclusion of the 1,000-year reign of Christ, at which point the Devil and the demons will be transitioned into non-existence. So, in the universal scheme, it is all in a day's work, so to speak.
