Jesus is Michael and he arises/stands up/comes
after that time of trouble/distress/tribulation, from the KOTN.
His people are all those that don't take the mark/support the 8th king during that time. (Those that do take the mark are not written in the book of life.)
The first resurrection takes place at that time when Jesus comes and continues on orderly during the 1,000 years AKA the 'last day'.
The MOTB is given out during the 8th king rule of 42 months. That time corresponds to the KOTN, that is the time of tribulation that Jesus/Michael will come after.
[31 And arms will stand up, proceeding from him; and they will profane the sanctuary, the fortress, and remove the constant feature. “And they will put in place the disgusting thing that causes desolation. 32 “And those who act wickedly against the covenant, he will lead into apostasy by means of smooth words. But the people who know their God will prevail and act effectively. 36 “The king will do as he pleases, and he will exalt himself and magnify himself above every god; and against the God of gods he will speak astonishing things. And he will prove successful until the denunciation comes to a finish; because what is determined must take place. 44 “But reports out of the east and out of the north will disturb him, and he will go out in a great rage to annihilate and to devote many to destruction. 45 And he will plant his royal tents between the grand sea and the holy mountain of Decoration; and he will come all the way to his end, and there will be no helper for him.]
[12 “The ten horns that you saw mean ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they do receive authority as kings for one hour with the wild beast. 13 These have one thought, so they give their power and authority to the wild beast.]
[5 It was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and it was given authority to act for 42 months. 7 It was permitted to wage war with the holy ones and conquer them, and it was given authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. 10 If anyone is meant for captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone will kill with the sword, he must be killed with the sword. This is where it calls for endurance and faith on the part of the holy ones.] .
[9 Another angel, a third, followed them, saying in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the wild beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he will also drink of the wine of the anger of God that is poured out undiluted into the cup of His wrath, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the sight of the holy angels and in the sight of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever, and day and night they have no rest, those who worship the wild beast and its image and whoever receives the mark of its name. 12 Here is where it calls for endurance on the part of the holy ones, those who keep the commandments of God and hold fast to the faith of Jesus.”]

9 After this I saw, and look!
a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands.
14 So right away I said to him: “My lord, you are the one who knows.” And he said to me:
“These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and
they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.]

2 And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and
those who are victorious over the wild beast and its image and the number of its name were standing by the sea of glass, holding harps of God.]

4 And I saw thrones, and those who sat on them were given authority to judge. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed for the witness they gave about Jesus and for speaking about God, and
those who had not worshipped the wild beast or its image and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand. And
they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for 1,000 years. 6 Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and they will rule as kings with him for the 1,000 years.]

39 This is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose none out of all those whom he has given me, but that
I should resurrect them on the last day. 40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and
I will resurrect him on the last day.”]

8 However,
do not let this escape your notice, beloved ones, that
one day is with Jehovah
as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.]

24 “But in those days,
after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light,
25 and the stars will be falling out of heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.
26 And then they will see
the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then
he will send out the angels and will
gather his chosen ones together from the four winds, from earth’s extremity to heaven’s extremity.]

When the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit down on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.]

7 But you who
suffer tribulation will be given relief along with us
at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels 8 in a flaming fire, as he brings vengeance on those who do not know God and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus.
9 These very ones will undergo the judicial punishment of everlasting destruction from before the Lord and from the glory of his strength,
10 at the time when he comes to be glorified in connection with his holy ones and to be regarded in that day with wonder among all those who exercised faith, because the witness we gave met with faith among you.]
