I printed off the following questions for my son to answer: I still haven't heard any answers.
- Daniel chapter 12 starts with Michael, the great prince, standing up for his people. Daniel 12:1-4 " “At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time; but at that time your people shall be delivered, every one whose name shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. 4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
-Who is Michael, and when does he arise?
-It says the "time of trouble" that occurs when Michael arises will never occur again. When did this occur?
-Who are his people who are written in the book?
-If this is the "Book of Life," are there multiple books?
-If so, where is this information found?
-Is this the resurrection Jesus promised?
-If so, then the resurrection and judgment discussed at John 5:29 has already occurred?
-If the resurrection has already occurred, how do you reconcile this with Jesus' words at John 6:44 "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day."
-When is the "last day" according to the Catholic Church?
-Who are "those who are wise" that will shine like the firmament?
-Who are the people they turn to righteousness?
-When is the "time of the end" Daniel was pointing to?
- When were the seals of Revelation opened?
- When was the war in Heaven between Michale and Satan?
- When was Satan placed in the Abyss for 1,000 years?
- Who is the angel of the Abyss?
- Why does this "person" direct the locusts to only attack those who don't have the seal of God?
- Who is Babylon the Great?
- When was Babylon the Great destroyed?
- Revelation 20:1-3 "Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain. 2 And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, 3 and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years were ended. After that he must be loosed for a little while."
-What time in history was Satan not able to influence mankind?
-How long is "a little while?"
