LOL love it 😂, or as John Wayne once said during a massive Indian attack “kill em all and let God sort em out”.
Doing good thanks man!
Wife’s in remission after 4 rounds of chemo so we’re pretty up beat right now.
How are your gas prices over there?
Where I live its over the five dollar mark.
You guys in the UK have always paid dearly for petrol so I don’t expect sympathy from you or Mick.
Seems the breaking point is getting near.
Something’s gotta give. Take care brother.
Petrol per gallon here is £7.27, or $9.08. so just a fraction more than you are paying….😵‍💫. It is cheaper to feed a horse and drive that to work, and at least it’s exhaust fumes can be recycled, not to mention it’s by-products. Let’s hope this world goes belly up soon.

Don’t know how you deal with that.
Price of everything seems to be connected with the price of gas.
If this doesn’t get brought under control, there’s gonna be a lot of people forced into the streets.
At least we know what’s coming on the horizon.

I have never considered the issue of being interventionist in terms of Jehovah’s actions with man. Clearly He has intervened - throwing Adam out, saving cain from death by others, flood, plague, fire so powerful as to raise even the trace of a city, Christ and the sacrifice. So yes, maybe He is interventionist. The only scripture I can point to is that “to whom He chooses He gives it”. Whether He does that outside of His purpose, is illustrated in Job’s case where prior to Job’s downfall, Jehovah had laid a ‘fence’ around him and Satan challenged Jehovah to take it all away from Job, and see if he did not curse him to His face. Jesus also intervenes in that he says that he is with the anointed until they meet again in the heavens, and I have no doubt, believing in equality, that man can be blessed for his loyalty and faith, prior to the new system. Equally, that we can be let go!
i should have qualified my comment- this modern day.

I have heard Mike Adams say he expects terrible times ahead, but after that Jesus ruling for 1,000 years
Hi @Brendan welcone to the forum!

I used to watch the Health Ranger Report regularly until Adams reported that Chinese troops were going to invade the U.S. from the north.

This would have been right after the 2020 election steal- and i worked myself up into a fit thinking the Chinese were about take over the state i live in (Oregon) and it didn’t happen.

I do appreciate all his health advice- he posted a video on coconut oil as a remedy for Alzheimer’s- I watched it and then I switched to coconut oil (and olive oil) for all of my cooking needs. I don’t watch or listen to his political stuff anymore.

Talked to a friend who spoke with and owner-operator independent truck driver the other day. The driver said that once diesel reaches $6.50 per gallon, it’ll no longer be profitable to run his trucks. All his contracts will either have to be renegotiated or he’ll have to break them since he can’t operate at a loss. Imagine if he’s not alone, and deliveries all over the country start shutting down.

And most companies won’t run a profitless business so in the end the higher costs of operating those trucks gets passed onto us the consumer at the market place.

You’re right Ken. There is no way we can afford petrol or anything other than for work or shopping. I’m fortunate in that I no longer have to drive anywhere and am content to saw away at wood in my shed. Electric and gas (the heating sort!) are set to rise by £2000 here as well by October, so from therein, all you’ll get from me is a very cold shoulder and icy stares! It has already gone up by £1500 since April. I’m not sure how much it is for Mick and others ‘up north’, but it’s probably much the same. The government also want to introduce an on line tax for purchases, so the future is looking rosy for the tribulation. You’ll know when it got serious here when the English start marching. I think the last time we did that here was in the 1980s when the government tried to poll-tax us. Before that it was 1937 when Moseley and his Blackshirts were trying to get a communist government in. Things are looking up all round. 👍

Is the Health Ranger related to the Lone Ranger? 😬

Here is what is in the Ramble:

(Ecclesiastes 9:18) Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but just one sinner can destroy much good.

So if one sinner can destroy the good you have accomplished with your wisdom, how can you protect that good accomplishment from destruction? With weapons of war.

To me it seems clear what Solomon was saying. If you think he meant something else, please share with my your reasonings and scriptures.

(Ecclesiastes 7:5) Better to listen to a wise man’s rebuke than to listen to the song of fools.

I welcome your rebuke.
Well Dane500, It is true, this will be my last interaction with you because I now see what you are about. First of all your initial comment was quite lengthy and so my reply to each of YOUR points may have seemed lengthy but I was limited to addressing only a few of YOUR ORIGINAL comments.

Second, you completely ignored my point that Christianity is a refinement to the “Law” and so things allowed in the “Law” are not part of Christianity, like war, sacrificing animals, etc. I completely disagree that Ecclesiastes 9:18 is even remotely recommending weapons of war as a means to protect “good accomplishment.” That is twisting scripture and when someone does that even after it’s been pointed out to them, then I will excuse myself from the conversation.

I‘m not interested in debate with you and I think I made my response to YOUR comments perfectly clear. It seems to me that you keep asking the same question. Yawn!!

This fellow is eerily similar to a past poster whose emerged under a new handle.

That is a good point you make, barbecuing animals after the meeting. I eat meat, but often wish I did not because I do not like anything killing at all. It is a hypocritical issue that I cannot really explain, other than to say that I do not see the killing, and that is not really a good enough excuse, but a system I grew up with. I am glad though that it pains my conscience, but that only makes the situation worse! I think Baghdad Bill hits it on the nail when he suggests that our scruples will diminish pro-rata with our hunger. I don’t think that can be refuted.
Hi BTD, Your comment make me remember when I had an aquaponics system and raised fish (tilapia) as well as growing vegies. It really wasn’t easy to kill the fish when it came time to eat them. I did it but I hated it. I had to hammer them in the head and then filet them. But the fresh fish was the best. Anyway, it was a lot of work and most people have no idea how difficult it is to kill fish or an animal. But, even Jesus cooked fish for his disciples, John 21:9-10: “When they came ashore, they saw there a charcoal fire with fish lying on it and bread. Jesus said to them: “Bring some of the fish you just now caught.”

@Driven

It’s astonishing to me anybody calling himself a Christian would argue in defense of weapons of war. Just astonishing.
Hi Asadour, I do believe he is one of Jehovah’s Witnesses from his website but with some rather interesting understanding of scriptures. Although he apparently believes we have been the GT for some time now. I guess since 1914 since he promotes that teaching. From my interaction with him, he is more interested in promoting his own ideas than agreeing with logic.
