Anthony Morris no longer missing.

It is incredible to me that someone would spend the time and effort to track down Anthony Morris. It really confirms that JWs are followers of the Governing Body. Even after people leave the organization they still follow the GB even when the person is no longer a member of the GB. Incredible. Apparently, the thought probably never occurred to them that following Christ is the better course to take.

Not exactly Beth Sarim, but still on the brothers and sisters dime. So I wonder who that other lot is for? Herd?

Now that he's outed, I bet a lot of ex-JW's are going to go visit the congregations in the area to see if they can see him. I wonder if he's on Zoom or ordering groceries to be delivered so that he can avoid interactions in person and being sighted publicly. More will be revealed.

WT must be feeling very vulnerable these days with so much of their private info being revealed. They should've just done the right thing and been open with people and then nobody would've felt the need to pursue this further.
 
We can't help being curious/nosey and questioning some things due to the way wt handles certain situations etc., and yes, unfortunately, for some poor souls they get distracted and spend
so much unnecessary time on foolishness losing focus on what is beneficial.

Pitiful human beings that we are ☺

It provides further proof that they are clergy and they personally benefit from the donations. I am glad they didn’t put him out and penniless, but having all your needs provided for during your life and the life of your wife is equivalent to a salary.

Agree wholeheartedly. It’s hardly tentmaking to make ends meet like the apostle Paul. It’s the double standard thing.

The WT has been labeled as Real Estate Company so buying these two properties may not be so much from an altruistic motive to ensure that AM + wife are cared for than from a future investment. After he / they die then the property/ properties no doubt will be sold for profit. In the meantime I wonder how AM feels knowing that the house he is living in was purchased by using donations from those he labeled as being “in the poor range.” Perhaps his talk where he “encouraged” all to donate regardless of whether you have a roof over your head or not has been taken down. And who knows what nest egg he may have squirreled away over the years (Lett for example) is helping to fund his new lifestyle. There is still a lot that is just speculation as to what happened to him but the fact ( if what we are told is bona fide) that the WT has fronted up quite a lot of money to house him must be an indication of some kind of negotiated deal with him and his family members. The plot thickens……

My guess would be the second house is for somebody keeping an eye on things and/or their gopher. That way can help to keep them from roaming in public(can’t have a sequel: “ Bottlegate 2: From top shelf to bottom shelf” or alternate title: from Macallan to Old Crow….)Other inter web rumblings indicate that the CO for that circuit was also switched to a heavy recently outside of the normal cycle
 
There is a bother and sister in our area that has served at Bethel for 30 years and is now in the full time service. He is an elder. She has had health problems and he has had to do plumbing work to make ends meet and match what money they get from the society monthly, which isnt much. They recently had to move in with a sister because of the high rent situation in this country. Too bad folks like this brother and sister dont get a parachute like Morris. Im sure this is not all Morris is getting.

Human nature totally evident. Because you can you do. The trotters are well in the trough. There always is an “upper echelon “ right?!!
 
So did Jehovah decide to retire him? Was there a noticeable shift in holy spirit in the meeting room? Won't it be funny to find out later that the entire governing body is fully aware of the nature of UN Agenda 2030? When the Great Tribulation really gets cooking, his perks and benefits won't matter.
 
What about all those Bethelites who served in the New York headquarters for years and were then told “we won’t need your service in Warwick”. They had no savings, no pension, not even social security… basically they were sent home and told the local congregation to take care of them. Wow! You know Tony doesn’t only get a free house… he’ll get a monthly check for the rest of his and his wife life. Those poor Bethelites…wait till they hear this news.

The GB big guys are just like the politicians of this world. Their system takes care of them with other people's money.
