Survival through the end of Satan’s world isn’t complete until one is standing alive after the battle of Armageddon.
In the forty two month run up to that event, during the eighth king’s rule, a person’s approval rating won’t hinge on belonging to any certain group (WT 2.0) but rather as individuals who’ve during the “hour of test”refused giving their allegiance over to the global beast government who’ll be ruling then.
There will be no Red Sea deliverance moment with current WT leadership taking a Moses type role leading Gods people anywhere except to being stumbled and two thirds will unfortunately be lost forever.
Any direction for the faithful at that time (after the tribulation is cut short) comes exclusively through the yet to be revealed two witness class who’ll provide the prophesied refuge from the storm to the great crowd class.

As I'm reading over the study article for this week's Watchtower Study, "Do you trust Jehovah's way of doing things?" I once again read the signature, often repeated line, "During the great tribulation, we may receive instructions that seem strange, impractical, or illogical"
My question is, why would the GB keep repeating this line? They've been doing so for the past several years. Do they have an agenda of some kind? Do They know something that they aren't telling us? That's how it feels and It really creeps me out every time i hear or read this phrase. I don't believe that Jehovah works in such a sly, deceptive manner among his people. This phrase feels like predictive programming and like a set up. Why are we given the gift of logic, reason and discernment if we are just to abandon it at a crucial moment like the GT?

Yes, I noticed that as well. Another subtle attempt at making anyone who questions their "authority" to look like a rebel. The WT conductor made sure to point out the often repeated - GT basement hideout scene where the brother in the middle (using his common sense) is depicted with a bewildered look on his face while the "obedient" sheep listen without question, ready to drink the proverbial koolaid if called upon. Unity at all cost seems to be the name of the game these days.

Hi Brother BTTW, I live on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. I am a married sister, 67 years old. I was baptized in 1991 and after the video updates last year, I cried for about 2 months. Then, once I realized the Governing Body wasn’t going to apologize and I believe they are deliberately misleading the friends, I stopped attending most of the meetings a few months ago. I still listen in on Zoom from time to time. My husband sometimes records the meetings on Zoom. He actually attends more than me now, which is a big turn around, but its more to document what they are doing and how their own teachings condemn them, often in the same study like last week.

I’m sorry to hear of your situation with your wife. But when all is revealed you will likely be a great source of strength for her and for your son.

F Franz and Hayden Covington where questioned and in it brother Franz was questioned in line with the DF procedure of JW. In it Brother Franz said that Unity was more important than bible truth...in that , if there was a current teaching of the Org. and I brother from somewhere wrote them about how the bible contradicts it, and we need to change it. It was more important for him to wait upon Jehovah and the organization to make a change , than to presumptuously share that information. And if the brother wasnt willing to wait until then , he would be disfellowshipped and labelled an apostate. When asked if the teaching was later changed or adjusted then would the brother be reinstated and his label abandoned ? or an apology given? the answer was no! Unity is more important than bible truth, we are like the Catholic Church , we work from the top down , not the bottom up.

Even though there is a supposed anointed remnant throughout the Earth, only the FFDS class can approve any changes in understanding or teaching. I guess in the case of the Covid injections they will never admit they were wrong until forced to do so or exposed when Jesus does his house cleaning. I'm sure that if any JW spoke out about their injection injuries they would be labeled apostates for speaking against the sacred directives. I'm hoping that happends and gets documented because maybe some people would wake up.
My wife keeps telling me to write the society about my concerns. She is still under the cute illusion that they actually care to listen to the sheep (us "people of the dirt" as the Pharasies called them). She doesn't understand that unity trumps all!
Fortunately, 1Corinthians 13 tells us that its actually LOVE that trumps all. Paul wrote to them and us,.explaining that without Love, non of our "good" works or intentions have any merit...including our precious "faux" unity. Is it really Unity if it's enforced through threat of punishment from excommunication?

Going by if I remember right a bit of Ireneus work for much of the second century it was understood that the holy spirit within congregations and the individual members that composed them was the source of unity not top down buerecracy or enforced uniformity.

I agree with everything you said brother, particularly the last half of your post, you took the words right out of my mouth! LOVE is the greatest of all…NOT unity!

You could be right on the nail with that thought…that we have already seen their ‘strange’ directions. “Strongly recommended” in Watchtower-speak, is just as heavy as saying “You will wear a mask” but without their taking any responsibility for taking away your right to balanced decision making. I really cannot say that they are consciously aware of following the UN. They seem too isolated and immature in their reasoning to think of any advice to the flock that does not include drawing attention to themselves in their assumed mantle of Jehovah‘s “Channel”. What they really would benefit from is a years sabbatical from their luxury apartments earning their own living in the real world. It might give them back a little insight. As it is, they live in a dream-world of their own making, having everything done for them and their every need provided for.…a bit like a husband, any wife will tell you!

The love of the Truth is being testing big time. Those who believe the GB has been approved will stay no matter what instructions are given. Those who realize this is a deception from the MOL will see these satanic instruction to come as not coming from Jehovah, and will leave. Those who love the Truth will come to know this constant phrasing "strange, impractical or illogical instructions" is not from Jehovah. Jehovah isn't trying to trick us, so He certainly isn't going to issue complex, non-Biblical instructions from the same source as the "operation of error." If they said they may issue instructions which may be counter to our survival instinct, then I would agree. Satan's system will put us to the test, with some of us losing our lives. If the GB said we will stick to the Bible even if it kills us, they'd have my respect. Instead they love their lives more than Jehovah... up to the point of following Satan's system and pressuring Jehovah's sheep to take deadly vaccines and to treat those who refuse as soft apostates.

I think this constant announcement is meant to further hypnotize the sheep to follow Satan's instructions when they come; but it will also have the unintended consequence of waking sheep up who have thus far been fast asleep... spiritually undiscerning. I suspect those still inside who elected not to get vaccinated, but who still trust the GB, or who stopped after the 1st or 2nd dose, will see whatever these instructions are as coming from Satan once they've been given. This will be the last call for people to leave the WT. Jesus warned his followers to leave Jerusalem... some left right away, while others left at the last minute. No doubt some of those who left at the last minute were able to wake up a few Jews who otherwise would have remained inside the Jewish system. This is repeating today. Some have had to leave for their own sanity, while others are quietly waiting for the MOL to reveal himself, so they can guide the sheep who awaken to greener pastures.

We should all have this mental condition. I'm not afraid to die, but I'd rather die peacefully in my sleep than to be thrown to lions or burned alive. That said I know a bit about the fight or flight-shock response, so I don't really fear death by violence either. You only feel the 1st blown, then it becomes an out of body experience... think of Stephen's stoning. I just want to be around long enough to show my boys why I choose to give my life to Jehovah and Jesus, and why it was the best decision I could ever have made. I'm ready to go right now honestly, as I HATE this system, and find very little to enjoy about it. 2 Timothy 3:1-7 is upon us, which it makes it tough to deal with the spiritually unawake or worse the spiritually evil. I'm seeing more and more people choosing sides, and it's going to hurt to see people I love choose Satan and turn on me. Thankfully Jehovah provided us a way to enjoy life in the midst of this insanity. I enjoy my pets. I also enjoy spending time with my boys. We're building a little homestead in the country right now... just bought 12 chickens yesterday. We're building the coops and chopping wood today. We all need to simplify and find peace in the middle of this storm.

I wonder if they have failed to keep faith in the end because of the 1914 dogma, What I mean is back in 2016 when I was at the regional convention brother Morris said in his talk that the end was not coming as fast or as soon as we may have anticipated , it was later than he expected,...now of course he then added we must stay alert. I know many don't like Anthony Morris , but I have always enjoyed his parts as a father and husband he seemed down to earth . but this comment really sank with me for some reason , I know my own father , who pasted now , but was in the truth always said the same thing , but I think it did not sit well with Br Morris saying it only because he claims to be anointed and knowing that they are an NGO with the UN makes me wonder why he said that now.

You’re probably right. Matthew 24:48, 49 comes to my mind after Jesus spoke of the faithful and discreet slave he said “But if ever that evil slave says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying,’ and he starts to beat his fellow slaves and to eat and drink with the confirmed drunkards,….

You are right on target. The scriptures specifically tell us the motivation is that they feel Jesus presence is delayed. Isn’t it obvious now that 1914 was a wrong interpretation? Certainly they know that and that is why they have had to revise how they define generation.

That‘s right…Brother Splane’s overlapping generation wasn’t well thought out. Jesus said at Matt. 2434 “Truly I tell you that this GENERATION will by know means pass away until all these things happen.”
Notice, he said “THIS GENERATION“ not GENERATIONS (as in overlapping generation)

Correct. There is no one alive today, who was of an age where you are aware of world events, that saw 1914. They would have to be at least 123 years old or more.
