Lyrics

Consider the lilies of the field
Solomon dressed in royal robes, has not the worth of them
Consider the lilies of the field
He takes after each and every need, leave all your cares behind
Seek him and you will find Your Father loves you so

Consider the creatures of the air
For all of the diamonds in all the earth have not the wealth of them
Consider the creatures of the air
Jehovah loves them with tender hand, He knows your every care
His touch is always there to see you through the night

And Jehovah I love You so
And Jesus I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let You go

And Jehovah I love You so
And Jesus I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let You go

Consider the lilies of the field
For how much more does He love His own? If Yahweh cares for them
Consider the creatures of the air
He takes after each and every need
If we ask Him for bread, will He give us a stone?
Jehovah loves His own

And Jehovah I love You so
And Jesus I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let You go

And Jehovah I love You so
And Jesus I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let You go

And Jehovah I love You so
And Jesus I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let You go

And Jehovah I love You so
And Jesus I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let You go

And Jehovah I love You so
And Jesus I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let You go

And Jehovah I love You so
And Jesus I want You to know
All You've done for me to set me free
I'll never let you go

And Jehovah I love you so
And Jesus I want you to know
All you've done for me to set me free
I'll never let you go

Never let you go
Never go

I grew up in western Colorado in a small mountain town. I have always been eclectic (outside of the box tastes in everything). I would always seek out new forms of music as a teenager to expand my diversity. Our house was on a mountainside about two or three hours across the valley from a mountain ski Town known as Telluride. At night I would lie in bed with my headphones on and scan through the radio stations seeking something new and I could often pick up an obscure station from Telluride. The DJ was named Rasta Steve and he would play old obscure reggae Tunes. I used to love that station.

Sorry, you're going to have to stop me 😁.
This jazz band from Denmark gives me a soul detox when i listen to it. I would suggest a good stereo system with sub-bass or good headphones to get the full effect. Some might feel its too slow but it gives me chills. Meditative.

This is my song. Help Is On The Way by TobyMac. My mom, Bonnie, showed it to me a while back to encourage me when I was low. It hits home because of how Jehovah never gave up on me.

In the video, if you pay attention there is a lot of subtle symbolism. Like how Toby chases after the lost kid throughout the video just like God pursues his people when they are lost. Also the attendance sign in the tent says "99" on the wall, and at the end when the kid walks in the number changes to 100. Which is a reference to leaving the 99 to find the 1 lost sheep. Love this song.

I think it was Bagdad Bill who asked if anyone had any gospel style music but I don’t recall his exact description. I do love the Kingdom Melodies, especially the new ones, but there is also modern music that has a message of good bible principles without being too much of Christendom and so I thought I would invite all to contribute so that we can all enjoy some clean music. As the bible tells us, we cannot get too much goodness. To start off I want to post a song by John Legend called “Preach” and it really puts to music the principle that we find at James 1:23-25: “For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, this one is like a man looking at his own face in a mirror. For he looks at himself, and he goes away and immediately forgets what sort of person he is. But the one who peers into the perfect law that belongs to freedom and continues in it has become, not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work; and he will be happy in what he does“.

The scripture and the song are a great encouragement to me to keep the focus on how I can better apply christian principles. I hope you enjoy as much as I do.

This is the best of Paul Robson, singing about Trees. And who made trees…?

Tell your mom that Medi-tator and Driven say "hi".
