Solid foundation of God

Apostle Paul has written to Timothy:
"Despite that, the solid foundation of God remains standing, having this seal, “Jehovah knows those who belong to him,” and, “Let everyone calling on the name of Jehovah renounce unrighteousness.” - 2 Timothy 2:19. So, the question is: what is the solid foundation of God?

Great question. I have read the bible through a couple of times but never focused in on this particular scripture. I would guess that the “solid foundation of God” is Jesus and his sacrificial death. I think that ties into being sealed with Jehovah knowing those who belong to him. Those who are truly awake and looking for Jesus’ authentic return to seal the anointed and see the beginnning of the Kingdom rulership. I believe our eyes have been opened because for whatever reason, Jehovah has revealed this to us even though the full knowledge of the prophecies are yet to be clarified.

I will amend my answer now that I have read Robert King’s comments on the daily text. Obviously the context of that scripture is that Jehovah knows those who belong to him because that is referring to the anointed who will be sealed. Of course he knows them and they know him. Regarding “Let everyone calling on the name of Jehovah renounce unrighteousness“ I think that refers to renouncing the unrighteousness of false teachings such as saying the resurrection has already started and/or subverting the faith of some.
