How many are waking up?

That is an unanswerable question. This is a math equation. And when it comes to math, if we don't have all the puzzles of the math question, we have to use the equations we have to estimate the answer.

In factoring this question, in order to come to a fair estimate we need as much information as possible.
That is to say, since I was not and never have been a "company man" my experience is going to be some what limited, but at the same time very revealing. The people I have become really good friends with are at some level of awakening. I frequent this forum and am the most outspoken among my circle of friends. Including myself, and my wife, I have brought 4 people I know of for a fact that are on some level of awakening! And of these people they still consider themselves, "Jehovah's Witnesses!"

There are more that are awake than what we're aware of. Many are starting to sense that something is horribly wrong and Jesus Christ is revealing to them exactly what it is.

It depends on what you mean by "waking up." Jesus said "the love of many will grow cold" and "many will be stumbled." So, if waking up means becoming aware of the Watchtower's double-dealing and hypocrisy, then yes, it seems that many more will be waking up. But waking up to what? Waking up to find their faith is non-existent? Personally, having had a web presence for the past 20 years I do not see any uptick in interest. It's strange, even though I have been talking about the WT going apostate and the inevitability of another world war fulfilling the sign people seem less interested than ever.

And the closer we get to Christ's presence, the lack of interest will increase. So will the love going cold.

The idolatry, infantilization and watering down gives many of them a false sense of comfort and security. It is as you've shared Jeremiah 5:31 before

31 The prophets themselves actually prophesy in falsehood; and as for the priests, they go subduing according to their powers. And my own people have loved [it] that way; and what will YOU men do in the finale of it?

In all honesty going to the kingdom hall the past few years its like the past four years they've gradually lost a good twenty or so IQ points (the average american unitarian in the 1990's had 112 IQ so I'm assuming JW's were about the same) and half there individuality/capacity for original thought I'm seeing a lot more mirroring behavior and rhetoric like people are hollow group think echoes and it wasn't like that five years ago. Many of us remember times when we could be proud of the org but it's certainly changed even fifteen years ago it was much less culty.

Like asking 'How many dead are alive?'....Nosferatu?
Talk about waking up!: A side campaign of mine over last yrs was to troll YouTube Watchtower dissenters who in extasy of documenting her demise , reminded them of the fulfillment Lam2:16 "At you all your enemies have opened their mouth. They whistle and grind their teeth and say: 'We have swallowed her down. This is the day we were waiting for! It has arrived and we have seen it!'" Apart from our host; none have had the decency to thank her for introducing us to Jah and Christ! Also alerting the Matt Ehret's, Cynthai Chungs, Whitney Webbs, Schlanger and co etc..reminding them that they are priviledged in fulfilling Christ's prophecy of bringing to light that which is done in the dark!

I've noticed that the literature has been simplified & even the comments at the meeting have to be under 30 seconds. I can understand the need for those who need the accommodation. Also, going electronic in order to control the info is no doubt causing the elderly to be left behind. I can just imagine how they must feel about the organization they loved to be part of become something totally unrecognizable today. As for people loosing faith, atheism is the easy route & people don't seem to be willing to learn (just get spoon fed by the TV & social media) & strive for better things. This is why I say many people seem to be "soulless" since they lack any higher brain function. Did you guys know a lot of people literally have no "inner monologue" & have Aphantasia? Just imagine how many J-Dubs could be like this. It's really creepy...

Ha! Inner monologue!....I've made a promise to that! To purge any hubris from narrative before posting! Choortle!

Like Robert pointed out, there's a fine line between becoming aware of the state of the Org and falling away from Jah completely. It's all too easy to realize what's going on, but then a lot of people use that as an excuse to leave God for some other religion. Long as they fill that hole with something that's all that matters -- another faith, no faith, atheism, politics.

What happened with us doesn't appear to be very common. I didn't even think it was possible to stay a JW without the Org. It was Robert that first showed me that could successfully be done. Another part of me believes even that concept doesn't occur to people generally speaking. Perhaps that is because of anger at those in charge, family, mistreatment, etc, they use that as a pretext to shut down all of their past. It all must be wrong to justify leaving the bad. I think this way because I have a lot of exJW friends on FB who I interact with on occasion. Any time I explain my situation it comes as an absolute shock to them. I'll make a comment that implies I'm a JW. Then they'll try to educate me about JWs, which I always find absolutely adorable.

What shocks them is when I criticize the Watchtower, or when I say I reject XYZ. They then feel the need to tell me to be careful online because I might get in trouble with my congregation. Then I tell them I'm not that kind of JW. LOL. It's kinda funny. Sometimes I feel like I could be an active company JW who comes out as a trans species wombat-person who still defends the Watchtower, even that would be less shocking to people than my actual position.

Some are still deeply mind controlled by the powers that should not be, but I maintain that this entire society has been a grift, and the rules on blood were meant to sacrifice humans in order to appease powerful people that commune with ancient demons and fallen angels. It sounds crazy, but healthy people wearing masks as they walk single file 6 feet apart sounds crazy too.
Not taking blood in order to comply with the Scriptural command to abstain from blood is demonism? Untold numbers of people have died from taking blood. You have your head screwed on backward.

People seem to get the idea you must be either on "this side or that side". Like Republican & Democrat, it doesn't matter whose left or right wing, it's part of the same bird & it doesn't change the flight trajectory.

Oof. And a spiritual Oof.

Obviously we aren't at judgment day when Jesus separates the sheep from the goats. So there's still time. Likely some that will survive the Great Tribulation and washed themselves clean and become part of the "Great Crowd" will come from those in churches of Christendom. Very likely not the leaders of course. And I like to think we'll play a big part in them knowing the accurate truth not the nonsense they believe in.

Whistling and teeth grinding. I love that description of those who’ve abandoned Jehovah on account of His rebellious people and instead chose to be stumbled never even considering if there ever was another path that could’ve been taken to please and worship God”?
Loyd Evans comes to mind.
He often does his podcasts with a backdrop of WT literature but the man has ,it appears, become a devout atheist.

Watching your child die as you hold their hand knowing that you refused certain safe options sounds like child sacrifice to me, but that's my opinion. I would never take vaxxed blood NOW, but what about the decades of yearly sacrifices before 2020? I thought we could share thoughts and ideas here, but I guess my head isn't screwed on correctly for you. I respect all your hard work in the ex and current JW movement, you're a living legend, but this might not be the right fit for me Robert. Thanks sir👍🏽
Jehovah sacrificed a child. He did so willfully. You, on the other hand, lost a child and presumably tried to obey God's Law, which you now claim was a demonic sacrifice. Which was it? Did you participate in a demonic ritual and oversee the sacrifice of your child to the Devil, or did you try to do things God's way and still suffered a loss? If the latter there is a reward. There are many, hundreds of thousands who take blood transfusions and die anyway, or because of the blood they were infused with. As the scripture says, anything not done in faith is a sin.

The eyes...the crazy is always in the eyes...

i agree. i thought the response was not in the tone intended for this platform. the blood issue can be interpreted different ways- having sanctity for life seems to be the main message to me.
