Do you think there is any connection between having the mark of the beast and the future ramifications of artificial intelligence?

It's been talked about on the forum before. I think it could be possible that the "image of the beast" could be an AI system they use to govern...if only ostensibly. Satan will behind their little puppet show. But when you read Revelation, it appears like something, an image of government, will be created. Perhaps this will just be the UN or some other org but it's possible it's an AI governing body, IMO. Thing is the Bible was completed about 2000 years ago and the writers, although inspired, would have had a hard time understanding our world and the technology. So they put it down in words that were understandable to them and conveys the overarching idea. When it's fulfilled we'll know it and slap our heads in amazement, no doubt.

Today people would trust a computer like that. It would have no passion or prejudice. It would be incorruptible and apply laws equally. It would seem like a "big brother" that would make everything diverse, equal and inclusive. The LBGQDEFG crowd would love it for that alone. All their wierdo socialist ideas would finally come true. And you'd better get your pronouns right... I think most people would willingly and stupidly give their allegiance to such a system. That could develop into the MotB. People would accept it without even thinking about it.

In the end GIGO rules. Garbage in, garbage out. We can see that now with ChatGP. It's displaying biases. Biases of it's woke programmers. Of course, they're spinning this as its youthful innocence and it says what children would say, if they had total knowledge, or close to it. What bunk!

Come to think of it, it would be an absolute horror show living under a one world, woke government, run by a pedantic machine. :(

Or maybe I'm just having a fugue...:)

The Watchtower has a front-page article on Artificial intelligence, asking What Does the Bible Say? Predictably, the article offers no insight whatsoever as to how AI might be weaponized against humanity. They just want to appear that they are up on current trends without the bother of having to have a point of view.

I'm used to that from them. No spiritual food, no insight, no wisdom, just a big fat nothing burger like always. Spiritual junkfood for the masses, Ladies and Gentlemen! No wonder the Brothers and Sisters fall asleep at meetings. I guess the WBTS is too busy hustling for a buck to concentrate on feeding the sheep and preparing them. May Jehovah gather his true sheep into his pen.

ah Kamala, the AI czar. WT quoting her in this article. You just can’t make this stuff up….the jokes write themselves. And also notice the bastion of neutrality that WT consistently quotes in these ‘current event’ topics—The New York Times.

Good thing I wasn’t paying too much attention in the Cong Bible Study the past two weeks on the subject of neutrality. Looks like they weren’t either

AI can be really useful for Biblical application. Whether translating scripture into another language or help you with making a talk, I've done it already. It's not perfect but after trimming down and editing some parts it helped me have a good starting point introduction.

I have often wondered about how these verses in Matthew 24 will play out. and I would not be surprised if AI might be used to make people believe Jesus Christ has returned. 23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look! Here is the Christ,’+ or, ‘There!’ do not believe it.+ 24 For false Christs and false prophets+ will arise and will perform great signs and wonders so as to mislead,+ if possible, even the chosen ones. 25 Look! I have forewarned you. 26 Therefore, if people say to you, ‘Look! He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; ‘Look! He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.

That's exactly the point. Faking the second coming of Christ. The Vatican desperate to save its dwindling influence sphere, has one last dirty trick up its sleeve...Weaponized psychiatry wedded to fake paranormal, fake ghost media, fake bigfoot sightings, fake ufo's...you heard it here first...! Where the eagles are, there the carcass will be
