Do you recognize the truth?

Very good questions that I'd like to know the answers to too.. 🥰
It’s a provision, which ever way one views it. There are other, well informed brothers who blog -whatever that means - but having been there and done that, - they do not reflect the Spirit (in my opinion) or give way to it. I’m not well versed in the bible - my faith stems from Genesis - but the Spirit appeals to those that love it. These other sites draw attention to the watchtower failings, but replace it with understanding of their wrongdoing, and some do it very well from the point of view of the bible.

But the bible is more than a standard of understanding. It is a guide to living it also - and these other sites do not release that spiritual understanding. They simply identify from the bible, what is wrong about watchtower.

The discussion here provokes the spirit. Rather than the audience giving thanks to the blogger for pointing out faults, the blogger presents issues of understanding that must be argued over to satisfy those searching. This satisfies the reader - or not - and some go elsewhere to seek reassurance for their beliefs . However, some here stay because they have no set belief and yet have the urge within to find out what beliefs they could have that provide the desired heartfelt need. And that need has to be altruistic - does it not? Open, searching, fertile, inquisitive, needful of spirituality because it is so lacking in this world. Thus the site is perpetuated by the search for the spirit because it simply allows the spirit to provide freely. How so? Because it neither adds or subtracts from the Word. It is those searching that take it or leave it. We are allowed to judge for our selves. Someone though has to put the food out. That has to be an act of faith, because faith is the passport to understanding. If Jehovah came down and told us, where is faith and motivation to serve in love of such things? No, it has to be through man to teach, just as Jesus laid the framework for the apostles, so those who believed have passed it all down to this day. And people still respond and believe. It’s not about men, blogs and quantity of sites, it’s about those searching, and the Spirit answering. Wherever that may be, there will the Spirit be. Jehovah provides all that we need to find Him. It is a question of our ability to “taste and see” that Jehovah is good. Just as watchtower alerted us to its faults, and the need to separate ourselves from its corruption in purpose, so too, for those actively searching and not lazy in their “ease” and having the ears tickled, even when their conscience is being beaten up, Jehovah remains true to his promise of provision. So the question should come from us, ‘is this right for me, and why should that be so.” 👍

Hello Proverbs, I left watchtower over forty years ago and did my stint in the “wilderness”. The watchtower remained with me, not because of their treachery, but because of the core values that formed their preaching - there is a god, His name, His intent, His promise, His sacrifice. These are all true. So keep them. They endure like no other. The voice of the stranger, the carrier of both the truth and its counterpart, the lie, is another matter. It is the separation of the lie from the truth that starts the healing. Once that is recognised, the opposer, the “voice” if you like, becomes ever more contrasted against the truth. As Paul indicated, what we see dimly now, becomes far more obvious as our spirituality grows. I’m quoting out of context, but the ethic applies also here in that as things are revealed to us, the truth and the lie become obvious. The ”stranger” easily identified. This is because the Holy Spirit makes itself known pro-rata -maybe more so - with our discernment so that we see these issues more clearly, and of course, their application in our lives. We see then, the outworking of the Spirit. It’s application in our lives, it’s reasoning, it’s outcomes, and that the attributes of the Spirit are intrinsically linked by love as the prime motivator of all our actions. If for the sake of argument, or clarity maybe, you replace the word “love” with understanding, a complete inculcation of “why“ into our spiritual life, we can appreciate the common bond of unity in all that we do, the “reason for being” of the Spirit. A completion of unity that is a beautiful permanence in all that we do. Is that not what love is?

We can see then that as these times draw to a demonstrative conclusion, the voice of those imitating their own desires upon us become strange and out of unity with what we understand more ethically within our heart. This is because the Spirit enhances our perceptions of Jehovah and the truthfulness of His Spirit. We can dump the speech of the stranger with confidence because it is spiritually impotent, and it’s clear that it is. It’s the difference between a home made bread of life, and the store-bought plastic sliced mush that passes for bread from the supermarket.

Yet more of our donations wasted through fighting the authorities, makes me so angry, and embarrassed 😳

Someone is messing with me B and it is only when on this site; when I go to post my screen scrolls down! I will not be put off posting. Rascal who ever you are!
Not necessarily. When you're logged in and you go to a thread it takes you to the last post you rated. So it may be logging you in in the background and when that's completed it scrolls you down to the last post you rated.

Mick there's a lot involved and if you're worried about your phone back up everything and do a full reset.

Much appreciated brother: Will do what you say. Thanks for your reassurance.
