When the Russian military operation began in 2022, there were 127,378 JWs in Ukraine. No doubt, many Russians had fled to Ukraine after Putin liquidated the Watchtower in Russia. Undoubtedly, though, many JWs were included among 10 million Ukrainians who fled Ukraine to avoid war conditions as well as the military conscription. Now it is illegal for anyone of draft age to leave the country, and the Nazis are rounding up everyone who can walk up to sixty years of age. I would imagine JWs still in Ukraine are either going to be forced into the military, sent to prison, or simply executed. Zelensky claims only about 30,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed. But satellite imagery shows acres and acres of freshly dug graves. And then there is the obvious lack of manpower. Russia says the number of dead Ukrainians is over half a million, with a similar number of wounded. Now, it is being reported that Ukrainian soldiers in the field are surrendering in large numbers to avoid dying for a lost cause.

I wonder when the Watchtower is going to start mentally and spiritually preparing young people, men and women, now that the sexes have been merged, to face the issue of military service. I have a hard time seeing young JWs today taking a stand and marching off the prison.

The ration of deaths in Ukraine are similar to that which Britain suffered during the Great War by 1916. The total (combat) deaths by the end of the war was 879,000, but the injured were hardly able to cope afterwards and the whole country went into decline for the next 20 years. There are most likely a considerable number of Ukrainian fellows without graves too. Certainly, what you say is true insofar as young people and the truth are concerned. There is no longer any substantial faith amongst young witnesses. Watchtower has no substance any longer to produce people of faith any more than evangelists do. People of doubt, yes! People of belief, yes! But faith? That seems to take an ever increasing amount of insight and which watchtower can no longer deliver. But then, the malaise goes deeper and further that faith in these days. Few now would willingly fight for their country. Politicians have proved beyond doubt that they are no better than the average Joe out for himself. Does it matter much who is in control any more - it’s when people are in control and there is no control - that’s when we need to worry. Coming soon to a place near us all!

Hilarious that Speaker Johnson turned out to be a Democrat in Republican clothing. I said early on that something seemed fake about him. It could also be that he was threatened. I always hold out that possibility as opposed to being a traitor. We know Jehovah has already called out the method of the end of these governments and rulers but, that doesn't excuse their traitorous behavior in the meantime.

Western media and Ukraine media are constant stream of lies after lies. Nearly every report on the war by them is a lie. How can they have only lost 30K when they were asking 500K a while ago? Simple math suggests asking 500K = 500K dead/missing. In fact that is what sources such as Infobrics say. Near 10 to 1 ratio in favor of Russia.

Also the west with their declining moral and economic systems can't effectively handle Russia. How can they? They can't even define what a "Woman" is. Strong family systems being the basis for strength of a country is right. Your drive, your hope, your thought processes, all depend on it. It gets reflected in the work you do, the amount of pressure you can take, and what is in your mind. A child that has two guys or women as parents or a dysfunctional single family household can't focus on their education.
