Perhaps that could be used to radiate some warmth even though you’d have to keep it outside.If you live in a modern home in the UK you often dont have a fireplace. Lots of throws, hot water bottles, camping stoves, terracotta pot with tea lights. Just think of things that may keep you warm. Fill flasks of hot water in flasks before the power cuts. Remain positive. Go for lots of walks, be industrious and keep moving. Pray to Jehovah and Jesus.

Day-time tv is a bit of a problem in this country, not known for its IQ status and less still for its content. Naturally then, if you have half a mind to watch it, that is probably all you will need.
