Getting Your Money Out Of The Bank ( Boots On The Ground )

Well, - I personally, don't have any more savings left, :ROFLMAO:

But, if I did, - I would put it to a practical use, like buying water, other practical necessities. I would not let it go to waste.
That's just my opinion. Some might say, - 'well, I'll just let Jehovah take care of it" But I've always thought we should work in harmony with our prayers, and give Jehovah something to bless.

I'm sure others might have their own opinion.🙂

Me too. If the banks steals my money, they could probably eat a nice dinner with it and that’s all. No dessert. Which is why I have to go to work today! :(

Ahorros!!! Modo sobrevivir hermanos!!!. Así que , aguante!!! Queridos❤️

Bail-ins. I hear they're all the rage. So yes Driven, when they go under they will take your money, buy themselves a nice dinner, and give you some shiny stock in return for their boondoggle.

A translation for those that need it:

Savings!!! When I think of that strange concept I remember the text, (saving the distances), I do not know in English there is that expression, but I get the text "the last will be the first. And I am excited to think that, when the economic system breaks down, those of us who know of shortages, we will have it easier. How to survive brothers!!!. So, hold on!!! Dear

These big Wall Street banks have trillions of dollars of exotic financial instruments called derivatives. In some instances, their derivatives bets are many times greater than their capital. Like 70 to one. So, what that means is, if only a tiny fraction of their derivatives go bad, be it currency swaps, credit default insurance, or whatever, then their capital gets wiped out, like in the twinkling of an eye - poof! - including depositors. And when the dominoes start falling, because idiot politicians consider derivatives bets to be real, the US Treasury would be legally on the hook to make good on the FDIC obligations, which would basically be every bank deposit in existence since the inevitable implosion of the 2 quadrillion dollar derivatives bubble would suck every last nickel out of existence.

Not to mention, some very nice people! :( If it wasn't for the sure hope you have, all would be lost! ( I'm in a target zone, but that's in the US )
You're on the ' front lines '!
I know Jehovah will continue to be with you!👃

Well i dont have any money in the bank to loose anyway😆 less worries.. but whatever money i get my hands on i try to prioritize necessities like water filter systems and other things i have a feeling will be a use for if infrastructure collapses.

Same here, - a lot less to worry about - if you don't have a lot :)

I'm older, - what I have extra from my s.s. check I try to use wisely, like the 'ant' "
- "Go to the ant, you lazy one;Observe its ways and become wise. Although it has no commander, officer, or ruler, It prepares its food in the summer,And it gathers its food supplies in the harvest." Prov6:6-8

The old timers, that lived without electricity etc, always found different ways to preserve food, and they prepared for the unexpected - the best they could.
I think Jehovah gave us 'common sense' for a reason.
But also,as you said: - Philippians 4: 6,7 🙏

What goes through my mind is, ok, money fiat is going to collapse. No $$ no food, shelter & so on Unless you take the mark.
So why am I stocking up,preparing? My landlord will kick my butt out the minute I cannot pay my rent. The utilities will be shut off when I can’t pay them. 🤔

I personally have a bit more positive outlook :)

I plan on giving the landlord a ( useless) check every month, that he can put in his ( non functioning) bank account. Or save it as a promissory note.
With the whole grid down, - how could a "new" tenant pay him either?
And how could he evict you, if the courts don't function?

Besides - maybe I could make myself useful, by sharing knowledge with him to help him get by. Maybe I could share what I know about edible weeds, or other practical survival ideas.

About utilities being off - I have "camping equipment" ready

In my way of thinking - if we do what we practically can - Jehovah will bless our efforts to help our selves and encourage others.

Our neighbors will need to see that we are positive, use common sense, and have a hope, then they will listen when we talk about God's kingdom.

They’ll be shut off anyway for everyone. You can stay put I would think. There will be chaos and I don’t think your landlord is going to be worrying about rent somehow

No one will be able to pay electronically for anything

I just saw seagull’s post Absolutely please grab a camping stove top and something to fuel it like small propane canisters.

Realistically I think rent is the least of our problems - or maybe a tent? But I hope not

Ah yes, a very interesting look at it too.
Right now we are minimalizing our material things. Travel Light has been my moto for the past couple years. I guess we will cross that path when we get there 😬
