They’ll be shut off anyway for everyone. You can stay put I would think. There will be chaos and I don’t think your landlord is going to be worrying about rent somehow

No one will be able to pay electronically for anything

I just saw seagull’s post Absolutely please grab a camping stove top and something to fuel it like small propane canisters.

Realistically I think rent is the least of our problems - or maybe a tent? But I hope not
I'm pretty chill about it, well not freaked out. Just thoughts that go through my head occasionally. There will be those who will comply with all the requirements & I'm almost positive my landlord will go along with what he needs to to keep his lifestyle ;)

I do have something's put aside for an emergency, & our bug-out bags started incase we have to leave (whatever the reason).
Like others I will continue to put faith in Jehovah as I have before ☺️

Got the entire atlantic ocean right outside my door, somehow I think it will be more useful than a full bankaccount in the times ahead of us😉

WOW! 😲 - That looks amazing! What a dinner! And you didn't need any money to catch it!
IF -I did have money, I would use it to move to a local similar to yours.
[I'm in a target area, and too old/ with health issues anyway]
But it's encouraging to know you are able to live "the simple life"
in a great area!

Good for you! 🙂!

I just sold my house and moved to Tennessee. I'm not thrilled with the prospect of losing what I got from the sale but converting it to gold isn't really practical. Not much we can do really. Money is fake anyway. Once the collapse comes, not much is going to matter except a roof over your head and food/water.

Yes, it seems the most valuable "commodities" will be water and food.

Hopefully people in your area will be more civil, since many have descended from a long line of hard working country folks, but who knows what we will face.

I know times have changed drastically since the great depression, when people tried to help their neighbors the best they could.

But Jehovah may provide certain ones that you can encourage spiritually, and also exchange different types of commodities with.
Sometimes the worst of situations become a comfort and a blessing. :)

It's going to be fun watching the financial system implode. Bank of England warns of.... :)
@Watchman
What about for those who do have savings but are not sure about what to do at this point in time?
Seems like no matter how much or little you have accumulated it won’t do any good?

Any suggestions would be helpful although I believe the answer to this is ‘written on the wall.’

Am I worried…NAH! 🙏

What money will there be in paradise? Think of this as a warm-up exercise administered by the enemy.

You're right! -No money,
- but an abundance of fresh organic food :)
🥕🥔🍆🪴🪴🍑
- So many nice things to imagine.
Like meeting with a group of neighbors exchanging/trading
vegetables 🍅or handmade tools ⚒️ or artwork.
- planning neighborhood get togethers .

It's probably too late for those that have savings 💰 to get it out now anyway,
but that's neither here nor there.

Still, it's like watching a movie - things are happening so fast, it's hard to keep up with. o_O

But we are satisfied with just having food and shelter. And if we lose that - we will still be praying for Jehovah to sustain us. 🙏
I don't think I want to know all the details just yet. It would be a little to much information! 😯 LOL!
