As regards your cannabis loving friend, from what I have heard, the elders can't do anything about it if it is prescribed by a doctor since its considered a medication in many states now. 😎
I don't think it should be smoked for obvious reasons but if someone wants to eat it, that's between them and Jah.

It's legal in Canada but he told me they gave a talk about it and it was still considered drugery and Jehovah's witnesses were proscribed from using it without a medical reason, as you said. That's what he told me anyhow. So you know what he did? Went out and got a medical doctor to issue him a certificate for medical use. Haha! It has nothing to do with his health and we both know it. He's a hypocrite that condemns me and makes fun of me because I'm so "backward" as to refuse the magic sauce, while he enjoys drugs that he knows he doesn't need for his health. Oh well, I should be used to clown world by now...

Yes, someone else posted about this the other day. What a mess when people follow orders instead of using God given discernment, basic love and justice for the innocent victim.
Personally what I've been learning from this awakening to the true nature of the org, is that we have to know Jehovah's personality and act accordingly. It really is that simple. We tend to overthink issues and get stuck on details instead of just following basic principles of Love, Justice, Power, and Wisdom. Jesus made it simple: Love Jehovah and love your neighbor. No consulting of attorneys, branch offices, circuit overseers required. Just do the loving thing. If it doesn't look or feel like love, then reject it! No matter where it's coming from. Simple.

But I just could not reach out for "greater privileges of service", knowing what I knew. I did what I could though like helping at the international convention, being a part of the school for a few years until I had to quit that as well, and doing some mike-handling at the meetings. But most of that ended completely by about 2015 when I began missing many meetings. I just could not hang in the kitchen any longer. It has been a long road but things are wrapping up now to Jehovah's and Jesus' praise and glory!

Thanks for the clarification and background. Why are we so afraid to look into these issues. Its really increadible because the Bible is so candid about the faults of Jehovah's organization. Yet most JWs are oblivious.
Its quite fascinating to learn how people ended up here...The Island of misfit toys. 😋

wow @Medi-tator thats a long time to be PIMO. it’s hard to imagine how difficult that must have been for you to slowly divest yourself from Watchtower over the years. It’s been a really long road- and here we all are on the cusp of the fulfillment of all things. Your patience and endurance finally paying off -seeing with your own eyes the things foretold coming to pass one by one, and in such detail. Jehovah really took care of you and @Driven. Thanks for sharing that verse. It's exactly what is going on. Like you say, Jehovah is allowing them to have exactly what they want. When you finally see it, then you understand how it clearly fits into the ongoing pattern of Jehovah's earthly organization. How many times did Jehovah have to send prophets to warn and then cleanse his organization? It was regular housecleaning. It always has been. Yet, we.pretend like the org is perfect and shiny clean. We live in an era where information abounds at our fingertips, yet we remain blind. 🤔😔

Exactly. Who gets the love because there are those injured and dead and their families that are not getting the love they need. And, people like me, who need to breath air are not getting the love we need. And, in my opinion it does not show love of Jehovah because they are promoting these “health” measures in a deceitful way. This entire affair has not been handled with honesty nor the trust that goes along with loving our brothers and sisters and allowing them to make their own health decisions.

Yesterday my husband wasn’t feeling well, he went to lay down and later on he called me to come check on him because he felt a bit warm, so I took his temp. it was 99F so iffy- i wasn’t too concerned about it. i texted my sister and told her he wasn’t feeling well, and that be had a slight temp of 99F.

This was her response- i am copy/pasting it directly:

“You better get him tested because it sounds like Covid. You need to make sure he takes vitamin D3 5000 units, vitamin C, Zinc, low dose aspirin, and melatonin. He should also get on the Z pack anti biotic right away. This is all about preventing other infections while he gets through this.”

I “better get him tested”? “Sounds like Covid”? prevent other infections “while he gets through this”? Huh? Whaaaaa????? People have completely lost their minds. They’ve handed over their critical thinking ability to those who are completely controlled by the Devil and his institutions.

Today I texted her and I said he is fine, no worries. No response. Nothing. No “oh good glad to hear that” just nothing. I wanted to ask her when she became a licensed M.D. but that would have started a fight.

The world had gone off the deep end.
