Actually, I worked late trying to finish up a job I have been working on a long time, 11:30PM...I was in so much pain from being bent over and carrying 4 85lbs doors to the back porch, and then sitting in my chair trying to get enough energy to make something to eat, I didn't go to bed not even sure when...late, then i was in so much pain I only slept a couple hours. Good news is I can take a couple days off now and recover, and will hopefully be going back to bed soon.

Awe that's awful. Well thankfully you can relax now and take it easy. It's no fun being in pain I can relate to that. Go rest 😊

And the GB are apostates who will soon answer to Jehovah for what they have done!" "Oh and it will become clear when the GT occurs and nothing the GB claims actually takes place."

The Kingdom Hall located in Encinitas (North San Diego County coastal town) had an entire side wall that was a window that looked out onto a terrarium which had beautiful plants and rock formations. That is the only K-Hall I have ever seen that had any windows. Openings in exterior walls, (windows and doors) are more expensive during the construction phase than just the framing and interior drywall and exterior siding. Maybe the lack of windows is an economic thing?? Or security of some sort? I have often wondered that myself.

The first hall we attended was a quaint, rectangular building with multiple, double hung windows along both of the long walls. There were also windows on the back wall. Two sets of double doors towards the rear - one on each side of the building. A full basement with meeting rooms and a parents room.

We outgrew it, and build a large brick Hall with fewer windows, but it was still bright and airy.

The Hall that we attended last - before it was sold - was bunker-esque. No windows at all. Similar to the current one. Both of these are in affluent communities with almost no crime. So I can’t explain the window thing.

There are two halls on the property where our Hall is. The 2nd Hall was built identical to the first with small cosmetic differences like color, carpet etc. The 2nd was built in the last 8 years or so. They both have windows something like 3 or 4 on both sides but up high close to the ceiling. When your sitting, or even standing you can't really look out them. You can see if it's sunny rainy or what not, and see if trees. Which makes sense since I think that would be distracting. Both Halls are very new built before the whole merging congregations thing.

The elders reasoning in this video is that if they didn’t give their personal info then they shouldn’t care about why it was being collected. They refuse to answer simple questions and the brother on the legal department’s line just creeps me out! When my husband tried to talk with a fellow elder about the vx dangers early in summer 2020 the brothers only response was “Where are you getting YOUR information? We haven’t heard anything like that from the branch!“ which is basically like someone telling you they saw your wife kissing someone at a bar and your response is “why were YOU at the bar?” 🙄
When we try to bring anything up now with our family about what the GB is doing all we get is “why are you looking into that?” Or my favorite “Be careful what you read!” like we’re children. 😤 Anyway its been interesting to watch their experience.

I can't watch that. I just can't. I got through about half of it. The cold, high-handed way an "elder" treats them tells me more about that elder than about them, whatever answers they were seeking. It's sad what that org has come down to.

When the GT happens the GB believe they will be called up to heaven to prepare for Armageddon. So they wouldn't be directing us anyways during the end portion of the GT.
 
I just don't know where the patience, caring, and love have gone in this. I say this completely outside the fact that I know nothing about the specificity of this situation or the people involved. I do not know the circumstances behind who is saying what - nor the motivation behind what's being said - nor the reason for the lack of courteous discourse (on the part of both parties). There's no need for anyone to be condescending, sarcastic, patronizing, or hostile. On the elders part, that would be akin to the shepherd kicking the sheep that bahhh'd too much. Let the brother or sister speak..... Look at their exhibits..... Take notes.... Then ask them whatever follow-up questions you have. Try not to talk over each other. Then set up a reasonable and specific time window for follow-up. It's really not that hard.

I can definitely relate to your pain and empathize with you….I’m the ‘queen of pain.’
