Yes, 2 neighbors so far, and hopefully 3 more in the future, still too cold, but have a few plants inside. It's so nice to have like minded people to just chat with. Hope you have a good evening. Catch up with you tomorrow 🥰.

I told them via email that Covid - 19 is a hoax and that 1914 is a hoax too. I got cheeky with one elder. I said the bible says "Go" but the GB says No. The bible says "gather yourselves together" but the GB says stay at home. They're not too pleased with me. I've sent them heaps of stuff, that questions the GB's teaching. They call it "my teaching"

Well, I'd say it's actually God's teaching since what you're quoting is the Bible lol. I mentioned Matthew 25 where Jesus said to visit the sick, but now we don't even visit the healthy... That's considered a "wrong view." But I mean... Jesus said it 🤷‍♀️ lol

Yeah I'm telling the truth. But because it contradicts their teaching, they call it false teaching. They obviously believe the "Lie" that the Christ has come into his Kingdom in 1914.

I couldn't agree more. We have free will, and even if you believe Jesus began ruling in heaven in 1914, he's not ruling on earth even by there own teaching. Therefore, any and all things in this system come from Satan. They are mocking Jehovah, because they are implying that this vaccine will "keep us in the land of the living", that this vaccine will end this sickness, and even if it did, what about the next one? No, in fact it is God's Kingdom and ONLY God's Kingdom that will end sickness. I would ask, could this be a sin against God's spirit, by suggesting that we have to take this vaccine to remain safe but also Satan's system would produce a drug with no side effects? In other words, instead of advocating that it will be God's Kingdom that will end all mankind's suffering under Satan, Satan's system provided a vaccine to fix our faulty imperfect immune system.

AND THAT IS THE KEY! We only need a vaccine to fight this illness because our immune system is NOT perfect because of inherited sin!!!!

Satan created the problem, now he's created the solution (vaccine), and we are really going to buy that!!!??? I think that might be the best argument I've come up with so far. It's classic "problem,reaction, solution." Satan created the problem, we reacted, and he's provided the solution.

the majority are just "spellbound" - they have turned them into robots and "pod people"

I and many others were not phased by the fake crisis. Just another visit from the regular cold and flu I told my friends. in late 2019. They didn't listen now most of them have taken the shot. because they were "forced to" yeah right. I told them if you comply, you give them power. Anyway the vax is here now and causing all sorts of problems. "Just a little while longer and the wicked one will be no more." BTW I haven't been sick since 2016.

But I said that unfortunately that just appears to be doublespeak. It's just impossible to say that they're neutral now and that they're not reccomending a "health" product. But the brothers I spoke to insisted that they weren't reccomending it. I showed them examples that they were indeed - direct quotes! And they said, "They're just stating facts." I said, "Why not state other facts then! Like perhaps possible debilitating side effects/deaths?" But they said, again, "It's just your interpretation that they're telling people to do it."

Needless to say, it became a bit of a circular argument. When I quoted Galatians 6:7, actually, the one brother said, "You're just trying to sound wise, quoting scriptures. You like the sound of your own voice and your interpretations of all of this nonsense."

It's shocking behaviour to me. I told him I wasn't trying to be "wise," I was just saying what I had studied and what I know to be true from God's Word....

Well anyways, it was pointless and upsetting, really. It's like being gaslit. There's NO way they can say it's not being endorsed. There's no way!

I saw the letter that said all Bethelites/full time servants must have the vaccine and again that elders must comply, and in no way speak against the vaccine or be considered causing divisions. They announced right at the start that vaccines were available and named 3 drug companies (in a meeting for worship with a request for Jahs spirit to be there - and before the final prayer.) They have removed refs to Pharmakia from the 2013 NWT and seem to idolise and obey drug companies and governments. These drug companies ruled governments during the pandemic alongside the UNs WHO. Ruled for a short time... ie 10 kings for an hour??

The video of Anthony Morris stating “our sister replied she was already vaccinated. What a fine witness our sister gave”. Any Jehovah’s Witness who doesn’t have a habitual lying problem, knows exactly what Morris was saying with that statement. Tell me I’m wrong. My ex-wife already has several times. Part of the reason we got divorced. She is honesty deficient.

I felt like I was speaking to robots who had no understanding. I'm not judging them, but I can't say I wasn't unbelievably frustrated with them!!!

Anyways, not sure what this post is about. Just felt like sharing my own experience I guess. It's a very weird feeling to feel so isolated, not just physically now, but mentally. Mentally isolated from virtually everyone I've ever known and grown up with in my home town. It's very strange. Well, glad I can come here and talk to some friends, though we all may be far away.

So they are saying Jehovah has taken away our free will. Something he felt strongly about and which solves the issue of who we serve not as slaves but as free persons - only Satan has worked to remove free will. Jesus died to allow us the option of using our free will to follow and come under him. Mandates dont increase or respect free will either.

This is so accurate, Nomex. I agree fully.

There's an article on the watchtower library that states what an idol is, and it mentions these two things: 1) it claims to do that which only God can accomplish, and 2) it captures people's praise, adoration, and focus.

The vaccine has become an idol to a vast amount of people who think it is the ultimate life-saver at this time (something only God can truly do), and it has captured the world's praise, adoration, and focus (even clearly shown in our updates, as it's the main attraction in every video now apparently).

But it is mind boggling since, as you pointed out, it's actually from the world that rests in Satan's evil ways. So if we think these "experts" have given us something glorious... we better think twice!! (Thalidomide was praised as the safest drug in the world once, too!)

The elders asked me, accusingly, "Do you think the vaccine is of the Devil?"

And I just responded, "Do you think it's from God?"

I think so, too, Surfergirl!! It's about legally protecting themselves. Which I found appalling during our conversation because I had given them a list of legal questions I wanted the answers to. They had emailed the entire congregation asking everyone to respond and list their name, age, gender, covid-19 status (whether you've tested positive or not), and vaccination status (and how many vaccines you've had)!! I asked, "What is this information being used for? Where is it being stored? Who has access to it?' etc. Those are all questions they are legally required to inform me of, according to my country's laws!

Now, the first thing they said during the conversation was that I was legally obligated to inform them if I was recording the conversation. But then when I asked them to answer my questions they first denied that the email was ever sent and said they would never ask for such information! I had to pull up the email and read it directly to them; showing clearly it had been forwarded to the entire congregation list. They then said it was for "statistics." When I asked what the statistic would possibly be for, they said, "We aren't lawyers. We don't know all the answers to these legal questions. We can't help you with it." ...But somehow they know about legally protecting themselves? ie, not being recorded?! So they know about their rights, but don't care about others'?? I explained that personal medical information collections, where we live, is required to be fully informed and people have to know why it is being collected, to which they responded, "Well, none of that is medical information." I said, "Excuse me? Yes it is." And they said, "No. Vaccination status isn't medical information. It's just not!"

Okay then! People are being violated!! But these people just don't seem to care/think about it!!!

PS. I think I'll actually start a new thread on this topic alone because it's so crazy.
