Another thing to consider, is when the banks find corruption. They are usually then tracking down funds already spent, or transferred to a remote island. How much faster, and easier to go into the computer and recover all the monies in a flash! What could possibly go wrong? Innocent people being hurt?

I just heard about this. It looks like what Robert's been trying to say for decades now is beginning to happen at a faster rate. How does the old saying go? Change first moves slowly then suddenly changes fast. Something like that. This is my bank too. I've been with Wells Fargo as long as I can remember. This Friday is payday. Let's see what happens. Maybe this was why my paychecks kept changing days. I just assumed it was my employer. Maybe it was the bank the whole time.

Think of it this way: Money comes into existence as it is loaned out. So, all of the money in existence represents debt. (Except gold) The more money, the more debt. The problem arises when the creditor becomes the biggest debtor. Now that I think about it, I don't get it either.
This is my favorite image from the near collapse of the financial system in 2008. Hank Paulson was the Goldman guy turned Treasury Secretary and he had to stand on the podium and explain that they needed a few trillion dollars by next Mondy to prevent the system from imploding. Actually they don't print truck loads of money, they simply raise the ledger amounts.. paper cash is only printed when old bills are destroyed or they're paying off governments or private armys.. otherwise it's just numbers on a balance sheet..
