Things have been pretty serious around the forum lately; I thought maybe could get everybody's take on these accounts that are published in the WT magazine in the study articles. Ones that have had the torturous duty(ahem...I mean privilege) to be on assembly parts already know what the meaning of the word "embellish" is. Last week and this week, Andrei is back in the magazine (since they have one of those #names have been changed footnotes in the article, I can only assume that this is the same Andre from years past. So, please offer your opinions as I attempt to use the poll feature here on the forum:

The "changing names" footnote never made sense to me. Why not just say "one sister" or "a man" instead of making up a fictitious name. I get it if the example or story is several paragraphs long, but sometimes the name is only used ONCE, which totally makes no sense and seems like 3rd grade editing.

This is an interesting question. I think I would say, when you are relying on human memory, coupled with the fact that everything, and I mean everything is going to have a WT slant to it. That is to say, it's all going to lean towards WT's version of anything and everything. Those two things I would think would make most "experiences" suspect!
