I was watching a YouTube video where this guy is recording his conversation with 2 elders. One who sits on the Society's legal department.

He was asked why the Society was part of the UN from 1992 to 2001. The elder says "we're STILL involved with the UN "

I just watched this about an hour ago. I think they have a flimsy argument.

Just about the same here. I had to quit a job due to external factors in 2018/2019 and was quite depressed. Wound up not being able to attend meeting due to mental health issues and all these "brothers" I knew for many years did not reach out once besides a shepherding call text and multiple angry requests to turn in time.

I can only imagine how ridiculous the politics are now in most halls.

I would say the decision to stop reporting time would help affairs, but the fact pioneers etc still turn in time no doubt means it likely has only gotten more elitist at the top given pioneers were the only ones who were actually counting time anyway... smh

Yes but look how many were counting time for time's sake! Even my ex best friend who's a pioneer, and a very honest person and I used to help her a lot, counted time when it oughtn't have been counted. It was weird because she'd be counting time at certain times when I wasn't 🙃🙃🙃
