We must enter into the Kingdom of God through many tribulations.—Acts 14:22.

You and your family can prepare now for persecution. Do not try to imagine all the bad things that could happen. Instead, strengthen your friendship with Jehovah and help your children to do the same. If at times you feel anxious, pour out your heart to God. (Ps. 62:7, 8) As a family, discuss all the reasons why you can trust in him. As in the case of a disaster, your personal preparation and your trust in Jehovah will instill in your children courage and peace. The peace of God makes us feel secure. (Phil. 4:6, 7) By means of it, Jehovah calms our heart despite the diseases, disasters, and persecution that can affect us today. He uses hardworking elders to shepherd us. And he gives all of us the privilege of helping one another. The peace that we enjoy now will equip us to face greater trials to come, even the “great tribulation.”—Matt. 24:21. w22.12 27 ¶17-18

We must enter into the Kingdom of God through many tribulations.—Acts 14:22.

Does it shock you that you can expect to face “many tribulations” before you gain the prize of everlasting life? Likely not. Whether you are new in the truth or you are a longtime servant of Jehovah, you know that hardship is an aspect of life in Satan’s world. Besides difficulties that are “common to men”—problems that affect all imperfect humans—Christians face an additional type of tribulation. What is it? Intense opposition because of their steadfast obedience to God’s laws. Jesus told his followers: “A slave is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you.” Who is behind such opposition? Ultimately, it is Satan, whom the Bible describes as “a roaring lion” who is “seeking to devour” God’s people. Satan will use any means he can to try to break the integrity of Jesus’ disciples.

COMMENTARY

The Western world has enjoyed a prolonged period of relative peace and prosperity. Very few among the present generation were alive during the Great Depression and the Nazi Holocaust.

We can certainly thank Jehovah that the world has not been wracked with continual war. Unfortunately, that is all about the change. The nations are preparing for an inevitable third world war. The London/Wall Street financial system is in a terminal phase and a new system is emerging in the form of the BRICS. There is no way the Anglo lords will relinquish their power. They will blow the world up before they allow the Russians and Chinese to become the dominant players. Of course, behind the scenes it is the demons who refuse to go quietly into the night.

The coming tumult will far exceed the horrors of the previous global conflicts —bringing mankind face-to-face with extinction, in what Jesus referred to as a great tribulation. According to Jesus unless those days were cut short no flesh would be saved.

Just as the tribulation that came upon Jerusalem in 70 C.E. brought an end to the temple-centered Jewish system, the great tribulation that Jesus said would come upon the entire world will bring an end to the Watchtower.

From the ashes will arise a new heavens and a new earth and those who are granted entry into them will sing to Jehovah and Christ a new song.

The Watchtower cannot prepare Jehovah's Witnesses for what lies ahead. That is because the greatest test will come from the Watchtower. Did not Jesus forewarn that there would arise many false prophets and false Christs, and they would mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones? Further, Jesus warned that brothers will hate and betray brothers and family members will hand their former loved ones over to be put to death.

If the Governing Body were concerned about preparing JWs they would inform them that the hour of test lies ahead. Instead, the WT falsely assures the flock that the critical hour of test began in 1914. So, it must not be that big of a deal, right? If the GB were interested in the truth, they would not promote the delusion that virtually all of Revelation has already been fulfilled. To demonstrate, ask one of Jehovah's Witnesses about the significance of the 666 mark of the beast. If you get more than a blank stare or a shrug, they might speak incoherently about not saluting a flag or voting in an election.

The Governing Body insists that if God wants you to know anything, he will inform them first, and then they will channel what you need to know at the proper time. In other words, it is not possible for you to disprove the false interpretations they have put forward. JW elders say it all the time. For example, when someone in the congregation tries to explain the fraud of 1914, an elder will inevitably rebuke them with something like: "Who do you think you are? Do you think you know more than the faithful slave?" And so, that is why JWs accept the nonsensical proposition that everyone with whom they share the good news has already received the mark of the beast, which symbolizes the irrevocable sentence of permanent death. In other words, the Watchtower's "pure worship" involves rendering Revelation into a doctrine of absurdities.

How could Jehovah's Witnesses possibly be prepared for what lies ahead?

I re-read the WT's daily text and wish to comment further on something they stated, specifically this:
Do not try to imagine all the bad things that could happen.
On the surface, that is sound advice. There is no use dwelling on negatives that may not even happen. Yet, has the Watchtower ever bothered to offer any commentary on what Jesus meant when he said the following? "Moreover, you will be handed over even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death, and you will be hated by all people because of my name."

Who is "you"? Obviously, "you" are true Christians, chosen ones. Who are the relatives, brothers and friends who will hand "you" over to be put to death? Think about it. Jesus did not leave it to our imagination. He clearly forewarned that Christians will turn on each other. Trying not to imagine all the bad things that can happen is one thing. Being oblivious to what Christ said would happen is something else entirely.

It's like how it was for Jerimiah. He couldn't trust anyone at times.☹️

Can you imagine if the leaders of the Watchtower actually lived up to their billing as watchmen? It would change everything. Instead of the constant advocacy and endorsement of the United Nations and WHO we might get an Update something like what this guy says, only from a biblical point of view.
I was just telling someone that Watchtower needs to change their name. They’re no longer any kind of watchman. They no longer study the scriptures. Just as you’ve said before, they give behavioral lessons in their WT studies, constantly reminding them to follow the channel, FDS or whatever.
They don’t study prophecy the way they should. The magazine articles and WT studies are shallow and diluted. No substance. All my years as a witness I never saw anything like it.

Why would anyone go back, back to what? They’re operating now like a business corporation. That’s not what I came into. Jehovah is no longer behind them, so why go back? Maybe to help others but in the meantime what happens to you?

Of course these are rhetorical questions but something we could ask ourselves if need be. And think of this, as Jesus told his followers:

“A stranger they will by no means follow but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.” —John 10:5

They no longer speak as teachers or shepherds. The witnesses are being “skinned and thrown about like sheep without a shepherd.” That’s a serious matter too because we know that Jesus is watching as well as Jehovah.
And we know the pity Jesus felt for those like he did while here on earth.

No longer will I go listen to the voice of strangers.

Absolutely!:) Now putting that into context with the supporting Scriptures and reasoning upon it. WW3 needs to occur in order to be the pretext to install the 8th king. When the 8th king is given its 42-month authority, this period will be the HOT, the time in which the MOTB is given. Because as stated JW's are not prepared for this test that lies ahead, many will end up taking the mark just as they did the vax. Those (JW's) that do take the mark will get the sentence of permanent death. Those (JW's) that do not take the mark (no thanks to the GB) will be the ones undergoing tribulation under the 8th king but then ultimately, they will be part of the GC. But this HOT does not just come upon JW's, it comes upon all people, the entire inhabited earth. It only comes upon JW's because they are among those of the entire inhabited earth/world. The outcomes are the same for all, take the mark and get the sentence of permanent death. Refuse the mark and be part of the GC. Also, from among those that refuse the mark will also be those chosen to rule with Jesus. Bottom line is that many of the people in the inhabited earth/world will take the mark/support the beast/fail the HOT, this includes JW's. But at the same time there will be many people in the inhabited earth/world that refuse the mark/pass the HOT. These will be who that make up the GC. Among these people will be JW's, although a much smaller % of JW's will make up the total amount of the GC. (The total of the GC will be made up of different percents of people who presently identify/part of something other than JW's.) End result is the same for all, they are who come out of the 42-month tribulation passing the HOT.

[10 Because you kept the word about my endurance, I will also keep you from the hour of test, which is to come upon the entire inhabited earth, to put to the test those dwelling on the earth.]
[12 “The ten horns that you saw mean ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they do receive authority as kings for one hour with the wild beast. 13 These have one thought, so they give their power and authority to the wild beast.]
[5 It was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and it was given authority to act for 42 months. 7 It was permitted to wage war with the holy ones and conquer them, and it was given authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. 10 If anyone is meant for captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone will kill with the sword, he must be killed with the sword. This is where it calls for endurance and faith on the part of the holy ones.11 Then I saw another wild beast ascending out of the earth, and it had two horns like a lamb, but it began speaking like a dragon. 13 And it performs great signs, even making fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the sight of mankind. 14 It misleads those who dwell on the earth, because of the signs that it was permitted to perform in the sight of the wild beast, while it tells those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the wild beast that had the sword-stroke and yet revived. 15 And it was permitted to give breath to the image of the wild beast, so that the image of the wild beast should both speak and cause to be killed all those who refuse to worship the image of the wild beast.16 It puts under compulsion all people—the small and the great, the rich and the poor, the free and the slaves—that these should be marked on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 and that nobody can buy or sell except a person having the mark, the name of the wild beast or the number of its name.]

[9 Another angel, a third, followed them, saying in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the wild beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he will also drink of the wine of the anger of God that is poured out undiluted into the cup of His wrath, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the sight of the holy angels and in the sight of the Lamb. 12 Here is where it calls for endurance on the part of the holy ones, those who keep the commandments of God and hold fast to the faith of Jesus.”]

[2 And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who are victorious over the wild beast and its image and the number of its name were standing by the sea of glass, holding harps of God.]
[9 After this I saw, and look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands. 10 And they keep shouting with a loud voice, saying: “Salvation we owe to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.”13 In response one of the elders said to me: “These who are dressed in the white robes, who are they and where did they come from?” 14 So right away I said to him: “My lord, you are the one who knows.” And he said to me: “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 That is why they are before the throne of God, and they are rendering him sacred service day and night in his temple; and the One seated on the throne will spread his tent over them.]
[4 And I saw thrones, and those who sat on them were given authority to judge. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed for the witness they gave about Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had not worshipped the wild beast or its image and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for 1,000 years. 6 Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and they will rule as kings with him for the 1,000 years.]

[11 I saw heaven opened, and look! a white horse. And the one seated on it is called Faithful and True, and he judges and carries on war in righteousness. 14 Also, the armies in heaven were following him on white horses, and they were clothed in white, clean, fine linen. 15 And out of his mouth protrudes a sharp, long sword with which to strike the nations, and he will shepherd them with a rod of iron. Moreover, he treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. 19 And I saw the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the one seated on the horse and against his army. 20 And the wild beast was caught, and along with it the false prophet that performed in front of it the signs with which he misled those who received the mark of the wild beast and those who worship its image. While still alive, they both were hurled into the fiery lake that burns with sulfur. 21 But the rest were killed off with the long sword that proceeded out of the mouth of the one seated on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.]

Remember the update (Update #8 by Stephen Lett) in which he told us we could trust the information about the vaccines because it was prepared by faithful brothers and we can "trust our brothers". Apparently that didn't convince the R&F so David Splane (Update #9) was called in with the heavy artillery as reinforcement .

Splane asked, "What do they (faithful brothers) know. Wrong question. Right question is what does Jehovah know. Comes down to do I really believe Jehovah is directing this organization today......Would Jehovah allow the GB, the helpers, missionaries etc. to engage in a practice or receive a covid vaccine that would to be harmful?". Therefore, we can trust the information about the vaccines because we "trust Jehovah". Get the jab!!!

Never thought it would come to this: Not being able to trust the GB and the organization but, now, it is so obvious in a multitude of ways.
That's why we have planted our feet on this forum where we get truth...not lies or fabrications.

"That is why God lets a deluding influence mislead them so that they may come to believe the lie, in order that they all may be judged because they did not believe the truth but took pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thess. 2:9-12
