A lot has happened these last 4 years...my understanding and insight have certainly been expanded, and I thank Jehovah, Robert and everyone here. One thing I have recently come to understand is how much history is repeating and does repeat itself. So much of what inhibits the R&F from realizing that something is very wrong with "Jehovah's Origination" and that is this idea that "Jehovah wouldn't allow it."
I just realized that is actually in the Bible! "Jehovah wouldn't allow it"...it's not worded quite that way, but I think you will all realize it meant the exact same thing, and I think the most telling thing of all, is how Jesus responded to that very idea....
Matt 16...21 From that time forward, Jesus began explaining to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes and be killed, and on the third day be raised up. 22 At this Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying: “Be kind to yourself, Lord; you will not have this happen to you at all.” 23 But turning his back,* he said to Peter: “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, because you think, not God’s thoughts, but those of men.”
Peter was convinced Jehovah would NOT ALLOW Jesus to suffer in this manner...yet he did, and why? Because this system remains under the control of Satan. And remains that way until now. Jehovah will indeed allow it, and does allow it, until Armageddon.
But I think what Jesus said should be very eye opening to us. Most of us, because we are Jehovah's Witnesses, and have had so much of our thinking controlled and steered by WT and the GB, we only think what Jesus was talking about was the fact that Peter didn't want Jesus to die. But what did Jesus actually say about this? First of all he said "Get behind me Satan"...so the first thing Jesus does is attribute this thinking that Peter had become subject to, to Satan.
While Jesus does also say, Peter was thinking, "not God's thought but men"...but we have to ask ourselves what Jesus meant by those words. Of course Satan WANTED to kill Jesus, he had to TRY to get him to betray Jehovah...that was the whole point. He could not pass up the opportunity even if it resulted in his failure. So why does Jesus tell Peter "get behind me Satan"? Well I think it is obvious, Peter's words and that thinking would lead to questioning Jesus resolve, but also, that Jehovah was not loving, was not the "good guy" for allowing Jesus to suffer in the way he did, yet, that suffering, and everything Satan's system has produced, is what gives Jehovah the justification to end his system and ultimately to END Satan, and his demons.
In fact, allowing Satan to perform all manner of wickedness is in fact the whole damn point of Jehovah letting this go on in the first place. But more than that, to allow his governments and everything he touches TO FAIL! (Including if not especially WT!!!) So yes, not only does Jehovah allow it, Satan's ultimate destruction and ruin DEPENDS on Jehovah allowing it. Only then can Jehovah show that this rebellion has not only failed, it fails epically, and ultimately and FINALLY! His failure will be ULTIMATE and FINAL!!!
So when Peter said to Jesus "Be kind to yourself, Lord; you will not have this happen to you at all.” What he really meant was "Jehovah would not allow this." And Jesus said, "Get behind me Satan."
So from now on, when any JW tells you that "Jehovah wouldn't allow that", remember what Jesus said to one of his most beloved brothers...."Get behind me Satan." This was God's SON, his ONLY begotten Son, and Jehovah did in fact "allow it"...when he allowed Jesus to be killed. Nothing else could EVER be worse than allowing Satan to kill Jehovah's Son!
Just another lie from known liars, the GB and WT!
