For your convenience, as published by the WT corporation, the current understanding in regard to Jesus Christ's name and the AntiChrist is provided below. Please be sure to read the paragraphs quoted below in their entirety. They are from the Insight Volumes.

Then compare it to what they currently teach about the faithful slave/governing body (pasted below) Then you will see that the current GB has indeed denied Christ, assumed his position and only gives him lip service. Which means according to their current definition, they are "AntiChrist", or a false Christ and can be equated to the man of lawlessness.

It's a frightfully scary thing to fall into the hands of God because of rejecting his Son and assuming his position. “For we know the One who said: “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again: “Jehovah will judge his people.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Heb 10:29-31)

Please consider this carefully. This truth is very simple, but most of those remaining in the organization have become blinded to this simple truth because of believing a big lie taught by the GB. Those remaining in the organization who recognize this simple truth of Christ Jesus are at risk of being identified with the GB's rebellion against Christ and as a part of Babylon the Great . They must be warned! Rev 18:5

When Jesus’ followers referred to his “name” they frequently employed the expression “the Lord Jesus” or “our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Ac 8:16; 15:26; 19:5, 13, 17; 1Co 1:2, 10; Eph 5:20; Col 3:17) They recognized him as their Lord not only because he was their divinely appointed Repurchaser and Owner by virtue of his ransom sacrifice (1Co 6:20; 7:22, 23; 1Pe 1:18, 19; Jude 4) but also because of his kingly position and authority. It was in the full regal as well as priestly authority represented by Jesus’ name that his followers preached (Ac 5:29-32, 40-42), baptized disciples (Mt 28:18-20; Ac 2:38; compare 1Co 1:13-15), disfellowshipped immoral persons (1Co 5:4, 5), and exhorted and instructed the Christian congregations they shepherded (1Co 1:10; 2Th 3:6). It follows, then, that those approved for life by Jesus could never put faith in, or render allegiance to, some other “name” as representing God’s authority to rule but must show unbreakable loyalty to the “name” of this divinely commissioned King, the Lord Jesus Christ.—Mt 12:18, 21; Re 2:13; 3:8; see APPROACH TO GOD.

*** it-2 p. 62 Jesus Christ ***
For this reason the apostle John could write that Jesus was “full of undeserved kindness and truth” and that, though “the Law was given through Moses, the undeserved kindness and the truth came to be through Jesus Christ.” (Joh 1:14, 17) By means of his human birth, his presenting himself to God by baptism in water, his three and a half years of public service in behalf of God’s Kingdom, his death in faithfulness to God, his resurrection to heaven—by all these historical events—God’s truth arrived, or “came to be,” that is, came to realization. (Compare Joh 1:18; Col 2:17.) The whole career of Jesus Christ was therefore a ‘bearing witness to the truth,’ to the things to which God had sworn. Jesus was thus no shadow Messiah or Christ. He was the real one promised. He was no shadow King-Priest. He was, in substance and fact, the true one that had been prefigured.—Ro 15:8-12; compare Ps 18:49; 117:1; De 32:43; Isa 11:10.

This truth was the truth that would ‘set men free’ if they showed themselves to be “on the side of the truth” by accepting Jesus’ role in God’s purpose. (Joh 8:32-36; 18:37) To ignore God’s purpose concerning his Son, to build hopes on any other foundation, to form conclusions regarding one’s life course on any other basis would be to believe a lie, to be deceived, to follow the leading of the father of lies, God’s Adversary. (Mt 7:24-27; Joh 8:42-47) It would mean ‘to die in one’s sins.’ (Joh 8:23, 24) For this reason Jesus did not hold back from declaring his place in God’s purpose.

*** it-1 p. 116 Antichrist ***
Denial of Jesus as the Christ and as the Son of God of necessity embraces the denial of any or all of the Scriptural teachings concerning him: his origin, his place in God’s arrangement, his fulfillment of the prophecies in the Hebrew Scriptures as the promised Messiah, his ministry and teachings and prophecies, as well as any opposition to or efforts to replace him in his position as God’s appointed High Priest and King.
This is evident from other texts, which, while not using the term “antichrist,” express essentially the same idea. Thus, Jesus stated: “He that is not on my side is against me, and he that does not gather with me scatters.” (Lu 11:23) Second John 7 shows that such ones might act as deceivers, and hence the “antichrist” would include those who are “false Christs” and “false prophets,” as well as those who perform powerful works in Jesus’ name and yet are classed by him as “workers of lawlessness.”—Mt 24:24; 7:15, 22, 23.

In view of Jesus’ rule that what is done to his true followers is done to him (Mt 25:40, 45; Ac 9:5), the term must include those who persecute such ones, which means it would include the symbolic “Babylon the Great.”—Lu 21:12; Re 17:5, 6.

John specifically mentions apostates as among those of the antichrist by referring to those who “went out from us,” abandoning the Christian congregation. (1Jo 2:18, 19) It therefore includes “the man of lawlessness” or “son of destruction” described by Paul, as well as the “false teachers” Peter denounces for forming destructive sects and who “disown even the owner that bought them.”—2Th 2:3-5; 2Pe 2:1; see MAN OF LAWLESSNESS.

All of these are great points you brought out and it’s the WT’s own literature that exposes them. And most of all, even God’s own word that exposes them.

That reality came to me earlier last year about Jesus being downgraded by the R&F when I was trying to talk to my daughter and her husband who’s an elder about the instructions the GB were giving regarding the 💉 When I was trying to discuss and reason with them about it I would say several times what Jesus said concerning things to do in the time of the end and what we would be faced with doing and what he said not to do. But most of all, not to put our trust in men, only to put our trust in Jehovah.

But, to no avail, they were ignoring what Jesus said and kept telling me that they were worried for me because if I didn’t listen to the FDS I would lose my life! So they chose to shun me (although I’m not DF) They also ignore Jesus‘ command that we show love among ourselves but say in effect, if you shun those who are disobedient to the FDS you’re showing love. They also ignore what James 1:27 says about the “form of worship that’s clean and undefined from the standpoint of our God…”.

Like you said, in this way they, along with the GB have denied Christ, have assumed his position and only gives him lip service. It’s been almost a year now since they’ve seen or spoken to me. Although, I tried to reach out but my calls ant texts are ignored. It’s very hard for me to not be able to see or talk to my daughter and my grandson. This is the harm false worship is causing in this organization. And particularly their rejection of Christ.
Their end will be according to their works.

Before it’s too late they had better take note of what the Apostle Paul said….”It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”
They won’t be able to ignore that.

I missed the part where the GB denies and tries to replace Christ... can you please explain further?

What you have put forth here doesn't prove that the GB has denied Christ. If you are going to sound the warning to eight million JWs I would hope you have a more convincing case.
Thats sure odd coming from you, we'll have to agree to disagree, I think their publications are quite clear

Let me reiterate for the hard of hearing

Par 2 - “It is vital that we recognize the faithful slave. Our spiritual health and our relationship with God depend on this channel”

Par 14 - “The faithful and discreet slave is thus charged with the responsibility to manage the household of faith.

Sorry RK, your going to lose this battle, Keep your audience of PIMO'S at your own risk, they've been warned and so have you

What you have put forth here doesn't prove that the GB has denied Christ. If you are going to sound the warning to eight million JWs I would hope you have a more convincing case.
““You must not spread a report that is not true. Do not cooperate with a wicked one by becoming a malicious witness. You must not follow after the crowd to do evil, and you must not pervert justice by giving testimony to go along with the crowd. You must show impartiality in the dispute of a poor person.” (Ex 23:1-3)

“Never lay your hands hastily on any man; neither become a sharer in the sins of others; keep yourself chaste.” (1Ti 5:22)

Par 2 - “It is vital that we recognize the faithful slave. Our spiritual health and our relationship with God depend on this channel”

Par 14 - “The faithful and discreet slave is thus charged with the responsibility to manage the household of faith.

Both statements are potentially true but untimely and premature, since the "Faithful and discrete slave" has not been identified yet, making them arrogant and for sure deceptive statements. But nothing in them denies the Christ.

Good try but.

Curious to know what your game is KevinB? This is not the first time you've tried to influence this forum. I recall one user say about an article you wrote; something like, ( well worth the read.) No quotes because I don't know the exact words.

I read some of the article but ran into what I call discrepancies one specific point. It appeared like you were endorsing the W/T's claim that Jehovah's wife-like woman was the angelic hosts, which does not appear to be supported by the scriptures I suspect you and possibly others here still have the PDF to verify. If I'm wrong then my bad.

I never gave your latest PDF a good read, not that I gave the last one a proper read either on purpose so as not to make too many negative comments about them. Although one is enough.

BTW; at the minute the org still offers every prayer to Jehovah through Jesus. But that does not necessarily mean they don't deny Christ. I guess we need to make sure our vision is clear before we try to help with the vision of others prehaps.

Cheers.

Arrogant son a ? aren't you? Like I said we might need to make sure our vision is clear before we try to help with the vision of others.

If you weren't so up yourself you would probably know that our host wrote a book and sent it to members of the G/B
and to congregations across part of the planet. I have also given warnings to elders in a couple 3 congregation about the G/B's Hypocrisy, and more recently, about the fake Covid 19 and the dangers of the vax. I suspect others on the forum have done similar. I have not warned them about denying the Christ. Thats your bullshit so I'll let you sound that alarm.

Thats because anybody with the name DoubleThink333 might be a double thinker ;)
🤨 Is that like a dig on my username...? I am genuinely asking for further explanation of how what was posted is proof of the GB denying Christ and replacing him. Seriously and sincerely. I’m not disagreeing with the claim but I don’t see the proof of it in what was posted. Can you PLEASE explain further???

And don’t mistake my not reading between the lines of the text you posted to mean I’m some kind of “double thinker” which is the ability, defined by Orwell in his novel 1984, to hold two contradictory beliefs and believe both of them to be true at the same time. My username is DoubleThink because most people actually engage in double think and have no idea that they are doing so and attention needs to be drawn to it.

The Watchtower that identified the governing body as the faithful slave: July 15, 2013 “Who Really Is the Faithful and Discreet Slave?”
*** w13 7/15 p. 20 “Who Really Is the Faithful and Discreet Slave?” ***

Par 2 - “It is vital that we recognize the faithful slave. Our spiritual health and our relationship with God depend on this channel”

Par 11 - “the faithful and discreet slave receives two distinct appointments. The first is over the domestics”.

Par 12 – “In 1919, a time of spiritual revival, Jesus selected capable anointed brothers from among them to be the faithful and discreet slave and appointed them over his domestics.”

Par 13 -
“Early in the last days, the domestics were all anointed ones. Later, the domestics came to include the great crowd of other sheep.”

Par 14 - “The faithful and discreet slave is thus charged with the responsibility to manage the household of faith. That responsibility includes overseeing material assets, the preaching activity, assembly and convention programs, and the production of Bible literature for use in the field ministry and in personal and congregation study. The domestics depend on all the spiritual provisions dispensed by the composite slave.”
The GB has not denied Jesus Christ is the Son of God nor have they become full on Antichrists (YET) Antichrist is someone who apostatized and returned to false trinity doctrinal teachings after learning the truth about Jesus and Jehovahs Father son relationship. Antichrist is only really explained in the book of 1 John. John was referring to is those who deny Jesus is God's son not God himself. Deny he was born in the flesh as 100% man. Antichrist by not accepting Jesus as separate from God not accepting him as Jehovahs firstborn creation insisting that Jesus is God that when he came to earth he was half man half God. AntiChrist is denying the divinity of Jehovah and Jesus. The WT is certainly is in position to become AntiChrists when Jesus does return. They are setting witnesses up to trust only them listen to them no matter how strange or impractical. Once Jesus does return they will attempt to further mislead his sheep and put themselves in complete opposition to Jesus asserting themselves fully in his place. That is what will make them AntiChrists.

Thats sure odd coming from you, we'll have to agree to disagree, I think their publications are quite clear

Weren't you that person that posted about going to a Catholic church because a family member of yours is involved. Sounds like weak resolve to me in the foundation of your knowledge. EDIT: (Sorry, it seems I had you confused for someone else.) And not only that, you are taking the Watchtower out of context. It may sound to some that JW don't give much credit to Jesus Christ. While, it's true that the GB is seeking a more lofty position of being the authority, it doesn't mean that Jesus Christ is at their level. That's where you go way off board. I see it as this way. Jehovah is like the engineer who created the car. Jesus Christ is the insurance policy for the car and the GB are the mechanics to fix things up, even though mechanics make mistakes too.

Some faiths are still looking for the Messiah or have a false doctrine - the trinity that dismisses Jehovah's individual being. Other faiths venerate other people in history that are not aligned with the fruitage of the spirit or truth. Just fallen angel propaganda to cause division of cultures for thousands of years.

That was Carl not Kevin that had the family member.....

Kevin, I got about 40-some pages into your 100+ page pdf and I saw some things that I thought correct, some interesting things to think about, but mostly what I saw was your jumping off point was incorrect. You went nuclear with Watchtower's adjustment as to who the FDS was, but you were both wrong. The identity of the FDS is tightly bound with the appointment over all the belongings. When this was moved from 1914 into the future all should have recognized there is no FDS yet. There may be leading contenders but the determination of who the FDS is not made until the appointment over 'many things'. Compare Mt 25:14-30. What I saw was, you want to claim ownership of that term incorrectly the same way the Watchtower does.

Its the same with the great/large crowd that doesn't officially exist yet.

Pretending that the have seen Jehovah and Jesus returning to Zion that meaning the kingdom has started and not giving Jesus the worship Jehovah asked to, that is denying him. They seem more inclined to give their worhip to the beast and his image.

"5. For my people were taken for nothing. Those ruling over them keep howling in triumph,” declares Jehovah,“And constantly, all day long, my name is treated with disrespect.6 For that reason my people will know my name; For that reason they will know in that day that I am the One speaking.Look, it is I!” 7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the one bringing good news, The one proclaiming peace, The one bringing good news of something better,The one proclaiming salvation,The one saying to Zion: “Your God has become King!” 8 Listen! Your watchmen raise their voice. In unison they shout joyfully,For they will see it clearly* when Jehovah gathers back Zion." Isaiah 52.

6. Saying: “I myself have installed my king+On Zion,+ my holy mountain.” 7 Let me proclaim the decree of Jehovah; He said to me: “You are my son;+Today I have become your father.+ 8 Ask of me, and I will give nations as your inheritanceAnd the ends of the earth as your possession.+ 9 You will break them with an iron scepter,+And you will smash them like a piece of pottery.”+10 So now, you kings, show insight;Accept correction,* you judges of the earth.11 Serve Jehovah with fear,And rejoice with trembling.12 Honor* the son,+ or God* will become indignant. Psalm 2

"For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, so that all will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him." John 5:22‭-‬23
