Justin Martyr

This thread is for any discussion on Justin Martyr including his Apologies and especially Dialogue with Trypho his writings give us an insightful picture of early-mid second century Christianity as it records him preaching to a Jew named Trypho and his friends for hours over the span of two days. A disclaimer while educational and pleasurable to go through his work and while Justin was sharp and clearly not trinitarian nevertheless he was not without a few flaws as whether bias from platonic philosophic background, the Jewish superstition against use of the divine name or both he seemed to believe either the father did not have a name or one shouldn't use it it also sounded like he might have believed in transubstantiation unfortunately. The playlist linked conveniently breaks dialogue down to over seventy digestible chunks.
