Magnesium

Nick Pineault - the Emf Guy

Before my work as the EMF Guy, I spent years (2009 - 2016) relentlessly studying nutrition, supplementation, and countless other health modalities.

As the years went by, I saw diet trends come and go. Paleo was strong, and eventually it became the “ancestral health movement”, with some people advocating for a ketogenic diet, and some people experimenting with the carnivore diet.

The same can be said about supplements: Some products were popular and “groundbreaking” around 2010, and are barely talked about today. Supplement trends also come… and go.

But Magnesium is an exception. I started supplementing with it back in 2009, and nearly 15 years later it’s still considered one of the most important supplements to consider using by nearly every single health expert I follow and trust.

Why talk about magnesium, and not calcium, selenium, copper, and countless other minerals?

All of them are important, but there are a few reasons that magnesium is one of the most important minerals you should be aware of:

1. Magnesium deficiency is extremely common (at least 50-80% of the population, depending on which studies you look at)

2. There are also good reasons to think that magnesium deficiency can make you more susceptible to the detrimental effects of EMF exposure (based on the work of Dr. Martin Pall – and the fact that “magnesium has been known to inhibit calcium influx via L-type calcium channel”) (1)

3. For decades, researchers have hypothesized that increased stress levels (from all sources: physical, environmental, psychological, etc.) can lead to faster magnesium depletion. This link is stronger than ever as shown in a recent 2020 review. (2)

Magnesium and calcium work in tandem, and are important to all kinds of functions in the body, including heart health and blood pressure. But you need both in the right "recipe."
Magnesium is most effective as a topical skin spray. Pills taken orally aren't nearly as effective. You can tell that it's working because it stings a bit. You can also get magnesium from bathing in Epsom salts.
For me, I get the best results when I spray magnesium on my scalp, ears, face and neck.

The results for me are a dramatic difference in my energy level. Now I can tie my shoes with ease and palm the ground, whereas before I could barely reach my shins...!!!

Really? Wow, maybe I'll try it topically. I have 'Natural Clam", but it's hard to take all the time. I have always been very athletic, until the last few years, and I cannot hardly bend down to pick anything up off the floor. It's miserable especially how active I've been, and really still am. My wife has a condition that causes "silent migraines" and when it's really bad she uses it topically and it's one of the only things that helps.

My biggest issue is my lower back is so tight all the time, it even hurts if I move wrong in bed, like muscle spasms, but I never thought to try it topically! It's so bad I "yelp" when I move wrong, it causes severe pain.

What product are you using?

What topical magnesium does your wife use? My sister gets terrible migraines too..so maybe I can recommend the one your wife uses. 🤗

The best form is always in food. Pumpkin seeds and hemp seeds have the highest amounts and beans are a great source, too, as well as leafy greens.

Magnesium helps with muscle mass loss, as well as flexibility. Great mineral. I have Raynaud's and it helps relax the smooth muscle walls of veins, goo.

Like I said before, calcium and magnesium work in tandem. They are used in the body all over, to contract, and retract. This is why you get muscle cramps when your are dehydrated, because when you sweat, you sweat out all your minerals. This is why "Gatorade" was so revolutionary, except it only replenishes a very small portion of the minerals our body uses, and needs, and which are sweated out. Magnesium, relaxes the muscles. And since the body does similar things throughout, like blood vessels contract and retract. I.E. regulation of blood pressure. The problem most people have with taking magnesium internally is it relaxes your bowels as well. So it's takes an adjustment period to get used to it.

I think it is also interesting, because they are minerals. When you think of an electric motor, they use electricity, and metals to make a motor. The motor consists of a magnetic field created using wire wound copper around and iron core to produce a very strong electronic magnetic field.

From various sources that I've read, the CA:MG ratio should be 10:4 or 2:1 or some even might up that to 1:1.

Magnesium from pumpkin and hemp seeds doesn't give you the runs.

Exactly...you can generate electricity with a lemon and a nail stuck into the lemon. The heart is not a pump. It's an electromechanical vortex

The problem is that the soils are depleted. You can't get enough magnesium orally. Topically in the spray works faster and more effectively

I'm not a doctor. I just know it works for me. Generally speaking a muscle cramp is caused by some mineral deficiency. If the mineral is stored deep in muscle tissue, the cramp will release it. Have you ever been to an osteopath? Were you injured?

I am an avid organic gardener. Magnesium is at the center of the chlorophyll molecule and makes it green. If a plant is magnesium deficient it turns yellow like this:

So, if you are eating a salad with DARK GREEN LEAVES, then you can be assured that the plant had sufficient magnesium.

I started surfing when I was 12 years old. Before there was an internet...actual surfing. I have so many soft tissue injuries, plus a couple car accidents, so those two things are the real issue I'm dealing with. Especially I got in an accident about 20 years ago, I was bending down, looked down at exactly the time the guy in front of me, turned on his turn signal, and looked up, just a second or two later, and wham...re-ended the guy, and hit my head and cracked the wind shield! So about a year later started having major issues between my shoulder blades. But I also have a lower back issue that I think might be an injury from a very young!

Well the answer lies beyond my pay grade but I have a few ideas that MAY help. Acupuncture is one. Another is kidney and another is gut biome or gut flora. If any of those systems need tweaking it can show up in the lower back.

When you have a heart attack, the emergency room doctor administers a syringe full of magnesium directly into your heart.

Here is a video from Dr. Tom Cowan's "Heart Revolution "...and oh by the way his other channel seems to be taken down (Talkin Turkey with Tom )

Ensure before adding plant food then that the plant is not variegated naturally !! 😀
