The Watchtower works hard to have organizational unity. In fact, years ago one of Bethel's spokesmen said under oath that unity was more important than truth. In other words, it is preferable for everyone to believe a lie than it is for the truth to cause division. Although Hayden Covington's shocking courtroom admission was a long time ago there is no indication that anything has changed. If anything, the Watchtower is even more obsessed with organizational uniformity, what some call "group think." The problem with valuing unity over truth is that the gatekeepers ultimately become enemies of the truth. They cannot allow an outside voice, even if it is the voice of truth, to impinge upon their safe zone of approved truth. The mindset of the leadership of the Watchtower towards a person such as myself who bears a Bible-based message they do not wish to hear or be heard by others is expressed in Isaiah: "They say to the seers, ‘Do not see,’ and to the visionaries, ‘Do not tell us truthful visions. Tell us flattering things; envision deceptive illusions."Let us not become egotistical, stirring up competition with one another, envying one another.—Gal. 5:26.
In the world today, many people are selfishly motivated by a spirit of competition. A businessman may resort to cutthroat tactics to get ahead of his competitors. An athlete in a sporting event may deliberately injure a player on the other team in order to win the game. A student competing for a place at a prestigious university may cheat on the entrance exams. As Christians, we recognize that such conduct is wrong; it is part of “the works of the flesh.” (Gal. 5:19-21) However, could it be that some of Jehovah’s servants might stir up competition in the congregation without even realizing it? That is an important question because a spirit of competition can affect the unity of our brotherhood. We do well, then, to consider the examples of faithful men and women in Bible times who did not give in to the spirit of competition. w21.07 14 ¶1-2
But what happens when reality and truth make a breakthrough? Jehovah continues: “Since you reject this word and you trust in fraud and deceit and you rely on these, so this error will be for you like a broken wall, like a bulging high wall ready to fall. It will crash suddenly, in an instant. It will be broken like a large potter’s jar, so completely smashed that no fragment among its pieces will be left to rake the fire from the fireplace or to scoop water from a puddle.”
What will cause the wall to crash suddenly? The actual coming of Christ. It will instantly destroy the Watchtower's cherished myth that Jesus has been ruling since 1914 and all that. It is a fraud. A fraud that all of Jehovah's Witnesses are required to embrace for the sake of unity.

“Jehovah will reveal what we need to know”
This is the concluding part three of the consideration of the Learn from Bible Prophecy article. Paragraph 16 states: God’s people who live under the rule of “the king of the north” are enduring direct persecution by this king. Some

You will hear a word behind you
Tuesday, December 22 will hear a word behind you saying, “This is the way. Walk in it.” —Isa. 30:21. True, we do not hear God speak to us from heaven. He has, however, provided his written Word, the Bible, in which he gives us instruction. Additionally, Jehovah’s

Are you saying you are a prophet?
The following is my response to an email from 2003 archived here. At the time I was an active JW and posted articles online anonymously. Article has been slightly edited. In last week's mailbag, a questioner wrote: "I can only wonder, why? Every essay I've
