Yes. Global heat waves fit events that the Bible foretold for our time. For example, Jesus prophesied that we would see “fearful sights,” or “strange and terrifying things.”
i still can’t get over the total lack of prophetic insight- the inept prophetic interpretation of the leadership of WT.

what’s worse is the article cites CNN and the NY Times as sources- so tell me, why do JWs even need WT when they can get the exact same counsel from CNN.

Alas- this is exactly what one would expect from apostate, globalist Watchtower.

It reminds me of this scripture: “for we are not peddlers of the word of God” (2 Cor. 2:17). They aren’t even peddling God’s word, they are pimping Agenda 2030.

The Anglo system is dying. For the past two centuries, the British Crown and the City of London have waged a no-holds-barred war against the American system of political economy. For the most part, the American system has been destroyed in America, replaced by the Wall Street casino system. But the American system has spread to other parts of the world. Russia seems to be the foremost champion of the anti-imperial system. Allied with China, India, and Iran, a new system is emerging based upon economic development and not depopulation. Here is what Putin had to say about it yesterday in an address:

"A new era is coming, a new stage in world history, and only truly sovereign states can ensure high growth dynamics, become an example for others in standards and quality of life, protection of traditional values and high humanistic ideals - development models in which a person becomes not a means, but the highest goal," Putin said at a plenary session of the forum of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives "Strong Ideas for the New Times."

The British Empire orchestrated the two world wars of the 20th century. It is well known that the Crown deployed Lenin and Trotsky to effect one of the first of many regime changes that brought down the Romanov dynasty and imposed an atheistic, communistic system on Russia. After the USSR dissolved the Harvard-trained privatizers were deployed to loot a weakened Russia. But the masters of the universe were thwarted when Vladimir Putin clawed back what the West had stolen. Since the CIA orchestrated regime change in Ukraine in 2014 the Anglo Empire has been deploying its forces for all-out war with Russia and China. Ironically, because of the sanctions imposed on Russia, which were planned well in advance of Putin's military operation in Ukraine, Russia is now completely disconnected from the Anglo-dominated financial system. Russia, which possesses a vast treasure of material resources, is posed to create an entirely new system just as the decrepit Anglo system is crumbling and teetering on collapse. Global war is now unavoidable.
Ironic that all the efforts at destroying Russia have ended up destroying America instead.

Hate to say it but when the Jews got on the trains they were told by the Germans they were being transferred to a "safe place" for their own "safety".
In the last days, with how corrupt these agencies are. You would be an absolute fool to believe that the superior authorities have your best interests in mind. And history repeats itself in many ways. Obviously, you take it with a grain of salt, like if a firefighter is directing traffic to escape a wildfire.

I'm glad they are quoting where they get their sources from. CNN and NY Times are brought and paid for propaganda media. And there has always been climate effects affecting different parts of the world. They are deceitful with their words when they have headlines that say "record breaking temperatures" when it's only counting as a record breaking temperature for that year even though past years and decades have been hotter. I'm still waiting for Watchtower to give the brotherhood warnings on global fascism which is being directed by the WEF. We know this world will last forever and climate change is a hoax just as the evolutionary theory is a hoax and it's more obvious than ever before that these C-19 vaccines are a hoax as well as the masks so why continue to perpetuate the lies and deceit? Revelation 16:13-14.
"And I saw three unclean inspired expressions that looked like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the wild beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons and they perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty."

well said. In fact you can just ignore it.

I’m not sure what you mean by a firefighter directing traffic to escape a wildfire- i don’t think i would ignore him if i were in that situation. What did you mean? Do you mean that the wildfire will rage on and there’s really no escaping it? I agrée with that, and yet those who love Jehovah and worship him can count on his protection- he obligated his name to it. But those who lit the fire- well, there is an awaiting judgment for those, isn’t there.

I brought the topic up about a firefighter directing traffic out of a wildfire because of the example the sister gave of her experience of the wildfire that burned down the community in Paradise, Nevada. It was a video on the Pursue peace convention. She was saying that the smoke looked more intense where the fire fighter was directing her and then the scripture of Romans 13 about obeying the superior authorities came up in her mind, so she decided to follow direction instead of turning the other way in her car. A firefighter or rescue isn't going to direct you to your death, so I thought that was an awful example of Romans 13. They aren't what I consider a corrupt bureaucracy.

thanks for explaining that. And i agree with you. It’s just so tragic for many JWs- following the aw-THOR-uh-teez right over the cliff.

Today was weird I received a random invite on discord to a brand new server by a unitarian youtuber I'd never heard of was one of the first three or four people invited I'm in but am at a loss what to do because it's the pre existence denying faction of unitarians the so called "biblical unitarians" and in literally within the first ten post they're saying JW's christology is just as bad as trinitarians and somehow equally incompatible with the ransom. It's bizarre. Normally I wouldn't mind being on servers where that theology is dominant simply because as repulsive as I find denial of christ preexisting Justin Martyr didn't mind fellowship with a faction of Jewish Christians that were misguided that way on the condition they didn't try to impose the mosaic law on other christians but I'm not happy with the spirit there showing and if it continues much as I watch I'll leave because I'm skeptical of it being fruitful to witness there. Why the hostility everywhere to Michael/angel christology? Even half of modern Arian unitarians are almost grossed out at the notion of Jesus not being a separate being from and above Michael.

Some people need complication. I do not know why. As a youngster I had heard the term trinity but never gave it much thought because I didn't realize it was so important to so many people. I didn't try to overcomplicate my understanding. The good part is neither does God. Take the scripture that calls Jesus the firstborn of all creation. To me, that ends all arguments. You can slice it. You can dice it but it still says created.
Then someone will argue whether he was a god before. He's a god now so does it really matter? We know that Jehovah promoted him, for lack of a better term at the moment.
We can't even grasp what an angel is so would it change anything if he were a god before? I say that, bearing in mind that he worships the same God as we do. In the end it is the splitting of hairs and usually there is a reluctance to admit that God has a personal name and a distinct separate being or identity. Is it a waste of time? Not if you win them over but, I wouldn't spend a lot of time repeating the same talking points. They can waste a lot of your time.
I wish I could have back all the hours I spent deconstructing the teaching of a burning hell. I truly believe some people will be disappointed if the heretics aren't tormented for eternity.

I appreciate the advice. Glass half full maybe this preoccupation with discrediting us comes from knowing deep down our understandings the most rational. I must ask though why would any Christian deny Jesus pre existence as anything more than a plan I can't fathom how one goes there.

if my activity on the forum is ever annoying I apologize I understand the aspergers tendency towards obsessiveness of subjects for spans of time on occasion makes output a bit repetitive.

You can't deny his pre-existence without denying the word of God. If that's what a person wants to believe then why bother at all? Seems to me that this is the crux of the problem. Everyone wants to tell Jehovah how to do his job.
Maybe this says it better.

God's Wheel by Shel Silverstein

GOD says to me with a kind of smile, "Hey how would you like to be God awhile And steer the world?"
"Okay," says I, "I'll give it a try.

Where do I set?
How much do I get?
What time is lunch?
When can I quit?"

"Gimme back that wheel," says GOD.
"I don't think you're quite ready YET."

By the way, I wasn't commenting on repeating things on here. I'm referring to people you might try to help who simply ignore what scripture says because it suits them. There is no pick and choose option with God as you know but some will insist. Give them a fair chance but if they aren't ready it just is. For me there was Christmas and the blood issue. Until I was ready I was spinning my wheels and it was right there in front of me the whole time.

Since I can remember I have been a walker. Used to walk in the woods at my grandma's farm when I was a kid. Magical. Lived in cities most of my life and I would always gravitate to parks, golf courses and railroad tracks for a little solitude. But city streets can be interesting too, back alleys especially. Sunday morning is prime walking time. Hardly any traffic or people about.

Snapped this photo yesterday as the rising sun was burning off the mist hanging over the swamp. It is interesting, that in the Bible, the act of walking is used in relation to a course of life; hence, the Bible uses the expression walking with God. I had a walk with God yesterday. Wasn't much of a breeze though.

Was reading Isaiah the other day. When I was originally writing the Isaiah series I didn't grasp the meaning of the fourth chapter, which starts off: "And seven women will grab hold of one man in that day, saying: “We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothing; only let us be called by your name to take away our disgrace.”

"Seven women" ought to tip us off that this is a high symbolic prophecy. Seven is used throughout the book of Revelation, seven eyes, seven spirits, seven thunders, seven trumpets, etc. Women are used in a symbolic way too. Jesus has a bride - a woman. Seven women represent the bride of Christ, at least those on earth when the bridegroom arrives. Except, their engagement to him will not necessarily be a happy time of flowers and friends and champagne, as most human weddings. Jesus comes during the bleakest period in human experience. Christians will be scattered to the four winds and humiliated. Salvation will not be an ordinary, pedestrian affair. We will have to beg God to save us. No other way. Those chosen to be with Christ will have to plead for their salvation.

How do we know the seven women are the wise virgins in Christ's illustration? Because the fourth chapter of Isaiah goes on to say: "In that day what Jehovah makes sprout will be splendid and glorious, and the fruitage of the land will be the pride and beauty of the survivors of Israel. Whoever remains in Zion and is left over in Jerusalem will be called holy, all of those in Jerusalem written down for life."

The Kingdom of God is splendid and glorious and when the full number has been brought in the heavenly Jerusalem will be holy.

Even more interesting, considering that the Governing Body has made themselves bloodguilty by their claim that the vaccines are a gift from Jehovah, even as untold numbers (Jehovah knows) of trusting souls have already perished, the next verse says: "When Jehovah washes away the filth of the daughters of Zion and rinses away the bloodshed of Jerusalem from her midst by the spirit of judgment and by a spirit of burning..."

I think the fourth chapter of Isaiah is the shortest chapter in the book, but there is a lot packed in there.
Beautiful thought
