Reeks of desperation?

Now the apparent dropping of the mask mandate(aka strongly recommended) notwithstanding "further direction", a new schism seems to be exposed with ones who are pro-mask and attending meetings.
It makes one wonder if there is an interconnecting with the knee-jerk restarting of meetings, and seemingly increasing rapid cessation of restrictions and pushing of publishers and Lett's comments in the broadcast to get everything back to maximum control ASAP.
Is there any information regarding the culpability of the GB as an entity out of the NY courts yet(Is it in Hines vs Watchtower)? Seems like their motion to quash on those grounds was denied, but have not heard any other rulings(don't know much about law, but have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before)

Who knows what they're thinking? The closer we get to Jesus coming into his Kingdom, the more apostate the GB becomes. To where they will reject the Christ and his Kingdom. They've already took it upon themselves to shut down the DTD work for the last 2.5 years. Jesus said Go the GB said No.

There is a FB Group called JW Letters, and there was a thread, on the masks which has now had the comments shut down, but the pro-maskers are flipping out, no surprise, which is why I wasn't going back to the Kingdom Hall in the first place. The GB use the stoking of the fear of Covid to push for maximum control, and now they are having a hard time taking their finger off the fear button, because it is now on auto-pilot. The fear the GB instilled in the veat majority of JW's is now a raging inferno, that will be impossible to extinguish with out reversing all their lies. They would have to admit, the majority of Covid deaths were actually just part of the normal "70-80" year life span that had nothing to do with Covid, and rather every thing to do with Satan's system. They would have to admit the mask doesn't work and last but certainly not least, admit the vaccine is poison!

None of that is going to happen.
Lett's comments in the broadcast to get everything back to maximum control ASAP.
I 100% agree. They screwed the pooch and now they are in panic mode, and they do not know what to do. Lett's rant about "bald-faced lie" sounds like a teenager saying, "I know you are but what am I". It indeed reeks of desperation. And his "Jesus trusts us." Could anything be more blasphemous?

Perhaps part of the problem too, is the relief people have felt not having all the eyes on them when they go to the Kingdom Hall! All the judgement every single one of us knows is going on every time you go through those doors and all the unsolicited advice like on how to raise your children, what to allow them to do while at the Kingdom Hall and everything in between!

We went from "no one should be pressured to return to in-person meetings" to "only the sick and infirm should be on Zoom". Why the sudden change?
$$$$$$$$$$$. It's all about the dollars, all about the dollars.

Money may be an issue but I don't see any pressure to increase donations. In fact, liquidating all of the KHs and switching to Zoom permanently would have brought in a lot more cash and reduced expenses. I really expected that to happen.
I'm wondering how you come to this reasoning. Most contributions come from cash/cheque drops in the boxes AFAIK. The WBTS was never big on e-transfer, CC processing, etc. I don't know, maybe things have changed since I was in. I believe they have taken a huge drop in contributions. Brothers sitting at home in front of a computer screen tend to think it's all low cost and they don't have a way to contribute anyway. Regarding the reduced expenses, you still have to maintain the KHs and keep the heat on, to a lower extent anyway.

I disagree. Everything lately is about automatic monthly payments through the website and credit card one time donations physically at circuit and district assemblies. If there is one thing the society is good at in these modern times (outside of covid directives) it's how to donate without giving actual dollars at the kingdom hall.

Well, I stand corrected then. When I was in they were scared of technology. I remember taking courses in computer science and kind of laughing at them because they were so scared of going on line, etc.

How they have changed.

Please do tell me what the analogy is between the law and holiday inn express! I would presume, that the behaviour surrounding the thinking behind the Shakespearean soliloquy, ”To mask or not to mask? That is the question,“ is forming the wedge between those showing a kind of outward “loyalty” to the GB, and those that perhaps still have independent reasoning within themselves, they being perhaps, those who retain mastery of sorts with their personal and independent powers of reasoning and who may well embrace the insight of the disgusting thing when it appears.
