There’s always going to be differing opinions. That’s what often makes for interesting discussion. How boring would it be if everyone always agreed. Have you read what was said to Eyes & Ears? Nasty stuff. Well at least I gave one of them a dose of their own medicine and I’m glad about it. I hate seeing people treated with such disrespect It’s one thing if a person made a mistake …but on purpose? I love it here and would never want to cause an upset but at the same time I will not sit idly by and not stand up for a sister when she deserves it!

On Roberts ,"The watchman`s post " , I was attacked by someone .They blasted me with a series of questions , and demanded explanations . While working my way through , I was attacked by another person .She ended up by calling me a dunce , and to stand in the corner . I have since only occasionally commented on this site , and the watchman`s post . Hang in there . We are all far from perfect , but even now I try to find one or two snippets a week that encourage me . It is hard , and sometimes it hurts . What is sometimes done is not Jehovah`s will , but we are all sometimes overzealous .I certainly don't want to cause divisions and disrupt this good forum.
But there is an ole saying IF YA CANT STAND THE HEAT GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN.
I never did do well in over heated kitchens. And can't cook very well either.

I get what your saying yet, I feel less inclined of having to wear a hard hat here than at the KH. Dan 11:35 'And some of those having insight will be made to stumble,....why? I would not like to upset anyone . I have been made to feel worthless , and it hurts . Knowing how it feels , I will do everything to be peaceable . I meet a man when walking my dog . We both have Staffordshire bull terriers . His one is not dog friendly , but loves mine . He is amazed by this . I found out last week that he is a Jehovah`s witness , while with a north of Ireland accent , he took it to be I was still a Catholic . It has been a huge uplift for me , as well as a means to discuss many things that we could not discuss normally . There is another two witnesses I know in a similar way as well that I discuss things with . I always leave them with , "We serve Jehovah , not man " . I have left this man with the same thought . I belong to a persistent race .
I will be stepping back for awhile while regrouping my thoughts. If that makes sense. ( for lack of better (wording). Will answer any pm's.

That's too bad. I always enjoy reading your perspective. Our differences here is kind of one of the things I like most about this forum. Sometimes it's good for everyone to be on the same page. We all believe in God. We all recognize the difference between Jehovah and Jesus. We understand God's kingdom is the only real answer to this world's problems. That connects us regardless of our opinions on society, politics, science, entertainment, etc.

for me it does indeed, when I hear the sisters freek out when I mention that the GB not all 'kosher' is, thank youIt seems like it’s the same, in that the JWs ( Jehovah’s people) are again rejecting Jehovah, but this time putting the GB in place of Jehovah, thereby still wanting a leader, king, or idol in place of Jehovah. Does that make sense?

Yes that too. When I mention that the past is written for us to learn from, the answer is always NOOOO Jehovah won't allow it! So what can you do against so much ignorance, but above all an unwillingness to 'wake up' and see what is really going on. So sad......

That’s exactly what my son in law said when I questioned him about the GB over a year ago. I suggested that they could be like the Jews in ancient times that turned away from Jehovah…so he said that Jehovah wouldn’t allow now that we’re so close to the end!
Excuse me! But where is that recorded in the Bible?
But I didn’t ask him that because I didn’t know everything then that I know now.
Besides, I was just dumbfounded after he said that! How absurd!!!
Just goes to show you that JWs don’t do their personal study of the scriptures. They wait on WT to feed them what they think they need.

exactly, I am told that the GB has sorted everything out, so that I don't have to look so much in the Bible. So to be very honest; I stopped hinting and warning
, because I can't afford to be a df (yet) as long as my husband is in the nursing home and has no idea what to do if I were to be a df. For myself I don't care, I would feel liberated and would help RK with sending the Kingdom bulletin....
