Well, no point in worrying over that. Insects - locus with honey, has been an acceptable foodstuff even in the bible times. Certainly I would have little trouble eating such, but there is a line to be drawn to be sure. Some people eat spiders! As the end draws near, I am certain our scruples will change. Children hiding in cesspits in German death camps comes to mind. The sense of survival is strong. Now I think of it, I read somewhere that people swallow a number of spiders during their lives, that crawl into their open mouths whilst asleep - a certain Venus flytrap! I would imagine that my mother-in-law would have imbibed a huge amount. She never stopped talking. I recall her still talking when I saw her in my rear view mirror when escaping her verbal diarrhoea on one (many) occasion.
 
I wish you "Bon Apetit", Barnaby. In any case, insects are not on my menu. By the way: Did you know that chitin (hard shell of insects) is carcinogenic? The human digestive system is not built for insects / chitin and Im not a bird or a reptile. Also, insects are carriers of many kinds of parasites.

Thats exactly why those satanic elites want us to eat insects while they continue eating their juicy steaks. They are already conditioning us to accept insects as something good & nutricious.

This is where you can expect government enforcement. Many people are happy just eating beans and lentils for protein and then veggies for the rest. Lest anyone think that I got this out of thin air, Australia the guinea pig for the NWO, has been fine tuning their laws that allow the government to come in and sieze anything you grow if they perceive it to be a threat. It is supposedly designed to prevent people from growing things that would overtake the natural landscape and farming. The laws recently passed give them authority to access property at will and sieze whatever they want on a judgement call.
It doesn't take a mental giant to figure out how that will be abused if the government wants everyone dependent upon them. Can't buy nor sell. It has to happen somehow and some way because it's scripture.

Agreed!!! [ no to bugs😜 - yes to prepping!!;)]
- and even if they destroy the gardens,and steal the preps,
we still will have the 'edible weeds' or what I call "green manna" . 🌳

I realize that to some people those things (bugs) a a delicacy - :sick: (not me)
But to those who do - you can gladly have my share of them LOL!!

Anyway, - Jehovah God gave us a brain so we could have choices, and if we're able to do a bit of prepping and planning, maybe things will go a bit better, than if we just sat around and waited to see what falls our way. :rolleyes:

I know it's not in the bible per say - but I've always believed that old saying "God helps those that help themselves" seems to me- Jehovah expects us to work in harmony with our prayers. - so I'll try to give him something to bless. I figure It's better than getting anxious, or sticking your head in the sand.
If we go to the effort to prepare and use common sense, maybe Jehovah will help us to not be robbed, or at least maybe they won't take all of it.

But maybe I'm wrong - I'll find out. sooner or later 🙃
Like the "capable wife" and the "ants'', I will do what I'm able.

Well I would cook them first! I thought the chitin was the same material as our fingernails? I shall have to rethink my diet now and no more chewing my fingernails. I’ll get the bandsaw out instead.

Hi Goldie, - I agree with you, 🙂 - Jehovah will always provide, especially for those who are not able to provide for themselves, for whatever reason.
Some may live in impoverished areas, be totally out of a job, or be in poor health, or elderly - or any combination of things. There are many difficult situations that some of us have never encountered. I know Jehovah will give you whatever you need.
I've never had go without, because Jehovah has provided for me at the times when I wasn't able.

But those that have a reasonable source of income ( like me) are usually expected to make whatever practical arrangements they are able, when a disaster is approaching.
I live in a storm prone area, so it is just second nature for me to have extra water, food, camping equipment, med, supplies, etc. For over 70 years I've lived like this.

I actually do have the means to do this, at this time - so for me personally speaking- it would be foolish - it would be putting Jehovah to the test, if I didn't do what I was personally able. ( prov 6:6 + 30:24,25)
And I'm just applying that to myself because I honestly feel that way, I was raised that way, so it's "in my blood" so to speak.

But - I live in the middle of 3 target areas, and may possibly be nuked pretty soon, :eek: anyway ...
However if I am (nuked) - I hope I am enjoying a nice cup of coffee :coffee: from my preps, made on my little mini camp stove, 🔥 at the time.

- I'm not joking , or trying to make light, - well, maybe I am a little.😉
But like you , I have faith in the resurrection, for me and you both... If need be. 🙏

Hi seagull, I guess I need to clarify a bit lol. I'm not saying to just sit back and do nothing and expect Jehovah to Miraculously provide for us materially and physically you're right that would be putting jehovah to the test. we are always being admonished to have an emergency kit prepared, extra food/ water , a go-to-bag. MY point is we are told in Gods word to not worry excessively as to what we will eat or drink when the times comes, our faith and reliance on jehovah is truly what's going to save us. I just felt that very important point was getting lost in the comments.

They’re not content with starving us and humiliating us into eating bugs, they have to make sure that as we do so we are poisoned. Their disgusting, vile satanic plans for God’s creation knows no bounds.

Yes, - and you are so right,:love: - I am like you in that respect, not wanting to let proper concern about a situation, get out of hand.

We need to always remind ourselves that Jehovah cares about us, even though some faithful ones have been branded apostate, or as weak in the faith. Many of us were already suffering emotional damage from this system, before things started to get bad. :( So we will need to devote more time then ever meditating on spiritual matters.
For many, the stigma of being branded as unfaithful, while,
at the same time knowing they are actually the ones standing firm,
creates quite bit of mental dysfunction.🤪
So your reminders are so very important! 🙏

OH! YES! - I run a totally organic farm here!! -- Neighborhood dogs are very helpful in providing wonderful nutrients to my soil!
AND - these bugs are allowed to go anywhere they please - NO BUG CAGES HERE!!!! 🤣
