Here's what I think. Everything he wrote sounds exactly like what I have been speculating on for some time. So it has that "ring of truth."

I mean how can that not be true. The only question I have is, who's actually openly expressing themselves to other Bethelites, however, they do spend a lot of time together and I suppose there may be some who have very close relationships and can confide in one another.

I don't think a truer statement has ever been made. We can all see it. As soon as this all started I was stunned by the reaction. I kept thinking "we are supposed to be bold, we as God's people are not cowards." Their entire approach, was one of confusion and desperation disguised as "guidance" when in reality they just did what the governments were telling people to do. They used Romans 13 to excuse their inability to think for themselves and the fact they are not getting direction from Jehovah. The glaring truth is the "authorities" do not have authority over our body's what we put in them, and what we put on them (masks), and the truth is what Romans 13 is really referring to is the fact that the governments have the power of force to enforce their "laws".

Romans 13: 3, For those rulers are an object of fear, not to the good deed but to the bad." We fear displeasing Jehovah not just because he can punish us but supposedly because we love him. vs 7 says "Render to all their dues:...to the one who calls for fear such fear..." Nothing in chapter 13 is their any call for reverence, but I have always interpreted more as a warning that Jehovah allows them authority, and as long as we don't give them any cause "for wrath" they won't bother us, but as vs one points out their position is relative, and so the question is "relative" to what? In other words their authority is not unlimited, and hiding behind "As long as it doesn't go against God's law we obey" but never really defining what that means, when so much of obeying Christ is done on principle and not "law"

In any case, I think the whole post sounds authentic!

they’re already politically involved.

This isn’t a surprise to probably most of us here- we all know about Watch Tower’s 10 year contractual obligation to the Unitied Nations in consideration for political expediency.

Why the Gov Body thinks a political solution exists to quash PIMOs and leakers is beyond my ability to speculate. However, these chronic leaks of “confidential”-labeled elders letters serves them right. How can they run one organization in public and a parallel organization in private? Jesus spoke these words written down at Luke 12:3 Therefore, whatever you say in the darkness will be heard in the light, and what you whisper in private rooms will be preached from the housetops. Don’t they know that? If they don’t they ought to. There is no excuse for what they’ve done.

I’ve said this before but it bears repeating, the more control they lose, the tighter the grip becomes, and the tighter the grip, the more control they lose. It’s a negative feedback loop that has been tested throughout history.

Lastly, I just want to comment on its so-called spiritual paradise that the Watch Tower regularly proclaims- it doesn’t take a genius to see there is no spiritual paradise within Watch Tower or even amongst the more refined JWs, the Bethelites- it appears the higher one finds himself amongst the ranks of Watch Tower, the more this spiritual paradise wanes, until one finds oneself amongst a group of eight, bloated, paranoid, greedy men seeking to hold on to their positions and assets at any cost. ANY COST. It’s profoundly sad for the humble and lowly whose only desire in life is to get to know his Creator.

Let's see. How long did it take for Solomon to realize that he had lost Jehovah's favor? And Saul? etc. They don't seem to notice until they get into trouble and Jehovah turns his back on them in their hour of need. We'll see if they get "help" from other sources. Anyone have 30 pieces of silver?

How many times has one of the Gov Body passively addressed an issue brought up by a so-called apostate? So yes, they are reading and watching everything we do. This implies that they def are paranoid.

Although the jab wasn’t mentioned, with so many JWs dying after the Gov Body (namely Mr. Splane) indelibly attached God’s name to the very thing causing their deaths, i’d be surprised if they weren’t paranoid af. Paranoid about the leaks, about the funding and completion of Ramapo, about EVERYTHING. They are certainly in a big old sour pickle.

But again, comments like this, as shocking as they would be to the fully indoctrinated JW, themselves shouldn’t prevail upon an awakening:

JWs have relinquished their powers of discernment to distinguish both right and wrong to the Gov Body. For this reason, they are held captive of their heart, soul and mind. They don’t even love themselves enough to reject something that will likely irreparably harm them or kill them. They’ve been quoted saying “It’s ok if i die from this, Jehovah will resurrect me” putting Jehovah to the test, thusly. So how could they possibly love their neighbor? The empirical evidence demonstrates they no longer obey these two greatest commandments. That is also why I posit this comment is sincere, because the empirical facts are demonstrable.

2) While the Bethel family is composed of some genuine and loving people who feel they are really supporting "Christ's brothers'', there is a high level of cognitive dissonance felt by many here at Bethel, specifically since the pandemic/lockdown began at Bethel in March 2020.

Many feel that the direction provided by the Governing Body has been over blown and quite frankly overkill. The Governing Body and Branch Committee will brag that we have experienced zero Covid related deaths in the US branches but will not truly acknowledge the hardships and struggles that have been felt by many at Bethel due to the restrictions placed on Bethelites since we went into lockdown.

Many individuals at Bethel struggle with mental health issues such as depression and even suicidal thoughts, which has been exaserbated by the restrictions placed on the Bethelites since the start of lockdown. This has led to all sorts of issues at Bethel such as drugs infiltrating the facilities, alcoholism, broken marital relationships and unfortunately even cases of domestic abuse between married couples, just to name a few. If the average rank and file member knew of the mental health crisis, as well as all the "worldly" shit that goes on at Bethel, they would be quite appalled.

3) Lastly, after spending many years here, meeting and associating with many high ranking men, sitting in on hundreds of meetings where decisions have been made that have affected people's lives, I can genuinely say that this is not an organization run by God. It is simply a billion dollar corporation no different than any other major corporation in existence today.

God, Jesus and the holy spirit are in no way involved in the decisions or direction given that affect millions of people's lives. It is simply a group of men sitting at a table acting on what they feel is right in the moment. Oftentimes the direction given is reactive. In many cases it is a small group of men who truly hold the power and control. Sure, there are some good things about Bethel. You meet and spend time with some genuinely good and honest people. But there is also the bad, and in some cases the ugly.

I don't know what the future holds but perhaps one day I will taste freedom and be able to tell my full story. Until then, if the opportunity presents itself I will continue to share insights and past experiences, if desired."

That is sad to read in so many ways, but good in that people are waking up. If we are brutally honest though, and in no way to demean what this brother has said, this is hardly a surprize to read! I remember watching my first “watchman” video on YouTube and thinking “This is the truth! Where has it been my whole life? Why didn’t anybody say before?” It reminds me of what was written over the doorway of my parish church where I used to go as a boy. It said, “One day in your Courts is worth a thousand spent elsewhere.” I said to the vicar, “Does this mean I only have to come here once every thousand days?” All these decades later, I find 30 minutes watching a youtube video, was enough to alter my whole course in life, in opening up the bible. It is really strange I find, that all the bible study they do in bethel, does not get through. But the machinations of men does and it is that, rather than the Word, that makes people reconsider their values. You would think it would be the opposite. It was the same for me.

the PIMO elder mentioned the division between the vaxxed and unvaxxed- and so what i find to be sad is how terrible unvaxxed JWs are treated by vaxxed JWs. they’re being marginalized, labeled disobedient to the Gov Body and shunned without any due process. This is not Christian, neither does it indicate a spiritual paradise. It’s spiritual abuse.

Jesus Christ said that a house divided against itself will surely fall. It’s my hope that everyone here will be an eyewitness of the total collpase of Watch Tower.

I am hearing where I'm at that the congregations in the area alone are starting to form cliques within themselves. Everything is getting fractured to the point once the world falls apart, everything else will follow suit.

All the Bible study they do in Bethel has a predetermined understanding. There is no room for any deviation, unless you’d like to be expelled and labeled an apostate.

I know they've been part of the UN etc. But are they going to be more publicly politically involved? Or will this be done in secret as well? Guess we shall have to wait and see.

”They must know that I am Jehovah! A jealous God”. I can barely wait. My fig tree is about to ripen. This is its fourth year and I planted it as a stick. It is now about twelve feet high and a similar girth. Last year, I was standing by it, looking at it when a breeze suddenly blew through it, cool and refreshing on a hot summers day. That’s the bible for you, accurate to the last detail.

Clueless and faithless is only the tip of the iceberg. Imagine being married to a so called servant of Jehovah for over 34 years and they simply walk away from the holy vow of marriage because you no longer believe in the GB. Then on top of that all your so called JW friend's just stonewall you with complete silence. It's beyond faithless it's evil.
