The thought crossed my mind. I think that those such as the GB, having lived a sheltered life since being in the watchtower, have difficulty in understanding the expanse of the human mind. I understand some have had secular lives, but that does not necessarily denote insight, maturity and reasoning, I agree. The longer they have inwardly denied the life experiences of others, the less competent they are to comment. They “believe” the “love” issues of the bible, but appear unable to equate such with the application of issues of integrity, such as justice. Empty vessels the bible refers to them. Hollow. They have no insight or balance and respond to the moment. I learnt a lesson, a long time ago; ”There is no limit to the amount of harm you can achieve, when you think you are doing good.” And that is true. Worse, it can built on lies, or part-truths. I have difficulty thinking that the GB and their lackeys can be so stupid, careless and uninformed in their role of policing vulnerable seekers of truth as they do but the evidence is stacking up against them. My problem is that if I condemn them, I condemn myself. I was once of their ilk, their thinking, their ignorance. The misery they caused in my youth, still has its effect on me to this day. So I am not going to make the same mistake they made and return like for like. I didn’t understand. As individuals they may not understand. But they will get their chance the same as the rest of us and our response has yet to be tried. So I will (try to) limit myself to my general run of the mill sarcasm and mockery, lest I make myself as bad as them.
